2 excellent season's 50 odd goals, Scores goals in europe also, the only problem is his age, but suppose he's in his prime. I don't think it will be hard to sell him tbh.

Why would someone pay £5M for a player we don't rate. Doesn't matter if he scored 50 goals it is the misses which teams would look at and say no we need someone who scores at least 50% of the chances he gets. might score I Europe but not in the games which matter and that is what teams would look at that and say. ??.

Just my opinion guys, but i would want us to keep big dessers for the very obvious reasons ie. scores 20 + goals a reason, always fit and available, a terrific attitude and very professional and gives absolutely everything in games and training. ???Not saying as our no.1 striker but most definitely kept as part of our squad. ?Big CD9 most definitely could have a part to play next season ?.

I'd keep Dessers over Danilo all day long, agree Danilo is probably a better player overall but he's never got, dessers is a regular scorer and it's fit all the time. We know he is going to miss chances, every striker does, but him, Igamane and a new first pick is what I think we should look at.
On another note, if possible I'd sell Igamane if it means we could keep Raskin.

Angus, the world of football is full of players fans didn't rate but clubs paid good money for. Dessers should be around 4m imo otherwise keep him. Any club winning trophies needs 2 or 3 strikers scoring goals and we know he can contribute.

I know OWS. however the fans can't want good money and think he is rubbish at the same time. there needs to be some sense of realism. I would keep him as it will cost much more to replace those goals and his ability to stay fit. if we do sell him we might get a decent price as all teams need a striker who scores goals.

As coops says, I'd like to see us hold on to the big fella. He frustrates out of me at times, but is always fit and available, works hard, and has good numbers. The question as to whether he can produce in the big games that matter, I think he's done that, scoring a few belters in Europe (Old Trafford) and against Celtic What's not to like.

Mark the problems not Danilo as such, the problem is actually play the guy give him a chance and a run in the team, same as igamane nstead of playing him out of position, dessers is a terrible striker, it's like playing with 10 men when he's on, albeit he does score but misses too many for me.

Big Dessers has his moments, but he's absolutely not good enough to be our #9 if we want to start winning trophies again. And I can't imagine him being happy as back up, or us wanting a guy on his wages coming on for cameos here and there.

Sollo I agree and my point was to say the fans can't want good money for a player who is so poor.
but clubs will be looking for a player who takes more chances than Dessers surely and score more goals because of it. if we are happy to sell our top scorer at all without replacing him with guaranteed goals then it isn't a good move IMO.

I would keep Dessers, almost 50 goals in 2 seasons is a good return. Danilo I feel his time is up, he can't keep clear of injury and in no way deserves to stay over Dessers.
