We were really keen on signing one of the Serbia U21 keepers last season, I remember the majority of recruitment team raving about them.

To be fair if they don't want new deals due to lack of game time then that's fair enough and says more about their character that they don't want to stay at the club earning a wage for nothing, same can't be said about certain others.
I mean John if we do recall these boys then they need selling as if they can't get playing for a championship club then they'll never make it here so wish all those the best but ta ta.

Two r goalies, three defenders and a winger. We won't sign them all if any.
I'm told we have three key target areas, abroad. Scandinavian, east Europe and Germany/ Belgium

But you're right we need these loan players and the guys who won't get a game off the wage bill and to create space in the squad.
Kelly must have know he was coming to be a number 2, but with the Scotland GK situation I agree it's a big chance for him to go to USA.

Am sure their has been interest for king nearly every window for years but he's on a decent wedge at Ibrox ( another contract that just been a drain on club ) so am guessing that's why he never left.

I heard from the recruitment team that they were dusting down the Koppen Handbook and was involved in a bit of work when Koppen set up a number of links to the Balkan Leagues.
Was a lot of excitement about it at the time, so hopefully the connections are still in place.

Those three will be no loss if they go. Wright has been a lucky boy to stay despite never being anywhere near actually playing in the first team, so if he thinks he can better for himself good luck to him. Kelly is a strange one, he must have known he was coming here as No2 and despite being in the Scotland squad at the time he chose to do it anyway ( for the money? ).
He is under contract to us, not Scotland, so he should only go in January of it suits us. Fed up talking about Rice he's shown nothing so if he wants to go then again good luck to him.

Davie I'm in reality, regardless of whether these boys go in to training and go on match day squads. I'm talking about them contributing to making us a winning team and many of those are not doing that so are earning a wage for nothing.

Unless they accept new deals, the following players are free to negotiate pre contracts with new suitors in a few weeks.
Kelly, Rice, Tavernier, Souttar, Dowell, Wright, Matondo.
Loan ins expiring end of this season -
Meghoma, Djiga, Moore, Aarons, Cornellius.
Total squad value has just dropped another 10 mill from 104 to 94 based on poor performances in Europe and our inconsistent league form.
wih all the above players listed above potentially gone at the end of the season, squad value drop down to 40 mill approx.
obviously that's not including any players we sell or buy during the winter window.
