With the window open in Turkey for another 7 days is it still possible we could lose Yilmaz with no chance of replacing him?

Onewaltersmith

1.) 04 Feb 2025 19:48:35
Yes one Walter if they come up wwith 5 million.

2.) 04 Feb 2025 19:53:31
Not unless the offer is substantial.

3.) 04 Feb 2025 20:31:44
Replace what? He's not very good anyway.

4.) 04 Feb 2025 20:56:49
Would be looking for more than 5 million now our window is shut.

5.) 04 Feb 2025 20:57:27
No regardless if they offer 5m, why would we leave ourselves with 1 lb for the rest of the season? Can we all just accept he's staying.

6.) 04 Feb 2025 21:54:01
Warp did not realise we needed your permission to discuss stuff.

7.) 04 Feb 2025 22:53:33
W1872 Nsiala can cover there, as can sterling. Even if he left and Nsiala covered, we'd have 4 other centre halfs.

8.) 04 Feb 2025 22:59:11
If they offer €5m he better be off cause we won't get that money again:

9.) 05 Feb 2025 07:11:34
If the money is right he will be gone - so far we have managed well without him in the team so there is no reason to think otherwise imho.

10.) 05 Feb 2025 08:26:21
5m and he's gone. Will manage without him no problem.

11.) 05 Feb 2025 08:39:20
Yilmaz is a weird one and i know he is played out of position recently but i would 100% sell him, anything over £4m.

He has done well a couple of times at RB but recently he looks lost, always cuts back and literally has no right foot at all. Pro players can't use his other foot still baffles me.

12.) 05 Feb 2025 10:24:27
£5m and I'm sure we'd all offer to drive him to the airport ourselves just to make sure he doesn't injure himself on the way and jeopardise the deal.

A player on his day when fit and playing his natural position but another who can stay fit. Sell, sell, sell.

13.) 05 Feb 2025 10:34:31
Why accept 4 when he cost more i am sure.

14.) 05 Feb 2025 11:01:40
Honestly the amount of chat around Riddy is ridiculous.

I would think there is no chance unless we are at the desperate stage.

That method does not fit with the player sale model we are trying to create.

If we are at the desperate stage then WTF point! Of a player sale model.

15.) 05 Feb 2025 11:42:35
Think it was 3.3mill as he hasn't met addons, John was saying the other day.

16.) 05 Feb 2025 11:51:29
Still just under a week in the Turkish window, so may be more yet.

17.) 05 Feb 2025 12:45:56
Decent when fit but sadly just one of those players made of glass, we need to be getting rid of all players who spend more time on treatment table than the pitch, just not getting our moneys worth, first decent bid and thank you for your service.

18.) 05 Feb 2025 12:49:55
I agree gdog and we are all too ready to sell any player who doesn't meet any fans standard or if they have a few injuries and either sell him at any price or look for a figure. If he is that poor and always injured why would anyone want to buy him at all. stick to champ manager or whatever it is called.

19.) 05 Feb 2025 13:00:48
Because he has been rotten 9 out of 10 games for us and now can't get a game at LB so how can he improve or how can we make a good profit on him if he can't even get into the starting 11?

20.) 05 Feb 2025 13:02:45
Anything is possible but I would have thought its highly unlikely unless they come up with an offer that we can't refuse . That too is unlikely because the Turkish clubs just want to do everything on the cheap and we won't do a loan with an option at this stage of the window.

21.) 05 Feb 2025 14:10:52
Saying he is rotten 9 out of 10 is nonsense. Give him another season. Work on his fitness and injury issues. Some fans just want to cost the club money. Quick fixes etc. Player model and develop. If issues work on them but it takes time.
Fans need to grasp that times have changed.

22.) 05 Feb 2025 14:13:59
Gdog - The chat around Ridvan is actually debate and hardly ridiculous - therefore most posters can see this and show some pragmatism - also am sure the main point is reducing his wages as honestly I cannot see a major profit on a player who is more injured than not!

23.) 05 Feb 2025 16:15:39
It's IS ridiculous and he's just come out and said he's staying and there is no chat about leaving.

That's should be that to bed. But dozens on here will sting bang on and on.

24.) 05 Feb 2025 16:16:30
Angus1812 ???????? spot on son.

25.) 05 Feb 2025 16:35:53
Think what Angus is saying, not me, is that he's being diplomatic cause your talking mince.

26.) 05 Feb 2025 16:44:40
For a never fit and rubbish player we are already doing well to get the money we paid for him obviously. we won't sell him now as our window is closed and we can't replace him. If Besiktas were going to pay money that we want for him they would do it when we had a chance to replace him and not offer us a lowball offer. just logic no inside information.

27.) 05 Feb 2025 19:34:14
What's his contract situation.

28.) 06 Feb 2025 13:24:55
Signed in July 2022 for 5 years.

29.) 06 Feb 2025 15:45:53
It's odd how everyone forgets McCoist missed sitters, Hateley got pelters for weeks, Tore Andre Flo "£11m" missed sitters. East Enclosure appears to have blinkers or is too young to have watched these players.

How many goals did Johnston, Mols, Prso, Negri score?

Give the guy a break.

03 Feb 2025 21:24:37
Reading we've refused a 850k loan fee and an obligation to buy for 2.5m for yilmaz from Besiktas. Total of 3.3m seems a fair offer but the club and player refused the offer.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 03 Feb 2025 21:43:17
He'll be gone in the summer.

2.) 03 Feb 2025 21:44:26
I have to disagree, not a fair offer. We have to stop devaluing our players.

3.) 03 Feb 2025 22:11:22
OneWaltersmith That was not a fair one we paid them more they wanted to pay less and pay them a percentage of the fee that is just a slap in our faces.

4.) 03 Feb 2025 22:29:03
Mark not if he goes injury free mate, Clement clearly rates him.

5.) 03 Feb 2025 23:50:31
Mark I tend to agree.

I don't expect him to be a Rangers player next season.

£4-5m is my number for him.

6.) 04 Feb 2025 05:07:49
Mark 100% correct.

7.) 04 Feb 2025 07:05:12
Agree he will leave, seems distracted quite a bit and affects his form for me, a few great games but not consistent. Imo.

8.) 04 Feb 2025 07:57:47
They only would get a percentage of sell on if we make a profit; and not sure how that works when we were selling him to the club we bought him from.

9.) 04 Feb 2025 08:25:52
Price reduction maybe Angus? Don't really know bud?.

03 Feb 2025 17:56:40
Zsc lovdlace away back to Millwall according to stv news.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 03 Feb 2025 18:07:09
Maybe we'll now sign a striker this evening.

2.) 03 Feb 2025 18:15:03
Good luck to him.

3.) 03 Feb 2025 18:37:53
We won't sign a striker t on replace him he's seen as a youth player not 1st team player.

4.) 03 Feb 2025 18:39:42
Mark do we need one. we have 3 first team and Lovelace was a youngster who would have got minutes. so we need to replace that. Lovelace got most of his minutes wide.

5.) 03 Feb 2025 18:43:17
No further transfer business to be done by us this evening. We can all go to bed at a decent time, no need to wait up!

6.) 03 Feb 2025 18:44:22
No more business ins or outs.

7.) 03 Feb 2025 18:46:03
Business is done apparently.

8.) 03 Feb 2025 18:46:25
Raman Bhardwaj
@ramanbhardwajTV
No further signings at Rangers. When Zak Lovelace joins Millwall, their business will be complete.

Deadline day at us is just no fun anymore.

9.) 03 Feb 2025 19:02:12
Any idea of fee?

10.) 03 Feb 2025 19:19:49
Stevie and Angus, decent point.

03 Feb 2025 13:01:41
Other mob apparently in for Miller from motherwell have we ever been actually interested.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 03 Feb 2025 13:39:02
Honestly don't think he's anything special.

2.) 03 Feb 2025 13:40:50
Who cares. Promote bailie rice. He was always regarded the far better of the 2.

3.) 03 Feb 2025 13:42:41
Never heard of the lad, has he been mentioned on here? ??.

4.) 03 Feb 2025 13:44:40
We won't buy a player from another Scottish club, really don't get it but we won't.

5.) 03 Feb 2025 13:49:55
Bailey Rice a better player IMO.

6.) 03 Feb 2025 13:50:05
Would David Watson from Killie be a better/ cheaper option?

7.) 03 Feb 2025 13:56:33
Rice will be better soon.

8.) 03 Feb 2025 13:57:27
I know I'm biased but I think signing for them will be a bad move for the boy, because he won't get enough game time, where as signing for us would allow his career to progress as he will continue to play regular first team football.
He is a real talent, we need him but they don't.
Not sure we can compete with them when it comes to the fee, it would need him to say no to them to give us any chance.

9.) 03 Feb 2025 14:05:55
This has come about caus was sat near celtic directors yesterday.

10.) 03 Feb 2025 14:12:54
Sebrofg, of course we will buy players from other Scottish clubs. We brought in Barron in the summer, we are (in all likelihood) about to seal a pre contract with Lyle Cameron. I'm sure both Koppen and Clement would love to bring in Miller, however we just can not afford £4+m for a player in this window and Motherwell aren't about to agree to loan him to us till the summer.

11.) 03 Feb 2025 14:15:00
Bailey rice ?% was rated better than lennon miller, when both were coming through the motherwell youths ? That's not being biased in the least, that's the god's honest truth ?I still think rice could still go on to prove he's the better midfielder of the two ? Not fussed that we're not signing lennon miller ?.

12.) 03 Feb 2025 14:16:39
Rice looks a player and needs used more often.

13.) 03 Feb 2025 14:31:27
We don't have space for Rice, Cameron and Miller. Imo Rice can be just as good if not better and Cameron has great numbers for Dundee. Not the end of the world.

14.) 03 Feb 2025 14:40:16
Rice definitely isn't better that's the blue tinted glasses guys.

15.) 03 Feb 2025 14:40:28
If Miller has any sense he'll go abroad to Italy or something like many other young Scottish players has recently.
Signing for us or them is a bad move for him he won't get the game time needed.

16.) 03 Feb 2025 14:41:53
Defo rice wasn't rated higher by those at Motherwell than Lennon so that's a lie.

17.) 03 Feb 2025 15:12:15
I'm not too fussed either if we sign Miller or not. I think Bailey Rice will go on to become a right good player for us and I've no doubt will be even better than Miller.

18.) 03 Feb 2025 15:14:57
Sam of orange, if rice starts getting more game time he will be better than lennon miller just as he was as a Motherwell youth, no blue-tinted glasses pal ?.

19.) 03 Feb 2025 15:16:51
HamiltonBear, i have it on good authority from a current Motherwell youth coach that bailey rice was regarded better than Lennon miller, when both were coming through the motherwell youth ranks, cosha my friend, whether you want to believe it or not ?.

20.) 03 Feb 2025 15:26:08
Miller will go to the dark side hopefully we get young Cameron from Dundee.

21.) 03 Feb 2025 15:38:58
Comparing Bailey Rice and Lennon Miller is like apple and orange. They play different positions. At this moment Miller is a mile ahead of Rice as he has been in motherwell 1st team last 18 months. That's not to say Rice can't become better after he gets a run but just now Miller is ahead. We have tried and failed to sign Miller on 3 separate occasions. He is as good as the hype says. I know a lot of staff at motherwell both past and present and everyone has the same opinion also same with national set up. Miller will be a star and will bring whoever buys him tens of millions. That's how highly he is rated. I also think it would be a massive mistake for the lad to remain in Scotland. He will become a better player should he move to Italian football or another of the top leagues.

01 Feb 2025 22:53:49
We are supposedly eyeing up Chelsea def Anselmino on a loan. He's 19 and thought highly by Chelsea.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 01 Feb 2025 23:49:11
Only signed him in the summer and are wanting game time ows, rather give game time to Nsiala and Fernandez.

2.) 01 Feb 2025 23:51:59
Going to Marseille according to fabrizo.

3.) 02 Feb 2025 00:01:30
Yeah we don't need to develop other teams teenage players we have our own.

4.) 02 Feb 2025 07:11:58
Correct My star ? We've got the highly rated Portuguese young central half rafael fernandes on loan and our own young centre half nsiala?More than enough there without developing a chelsea player when there's absolutely no need.

5.) 02 Feb 2025 09:25:05
We aren't after this guy at all.

6.) 02 Feb 2025 11:29:14
Were you talking to koppen storm? ?We don't know who we're after as it's kept very quiet the way it should be. ? Nobody knows who we're after for definite which i think has been proven over the last few days ?.

7.) 02 Feb 2025 12:07:00
Is coops upset because I called out you out trying to get one up on John? Aww poor wee soul.

8.) 02 Feb 2025 12:26:56
We have 2 new young raw talented CB's in Nsiala and Fernandes.
Can't see us getting anymore in this window.

9.) 02 Feb 2025 12:31:03
Nsiala is only 20 and thought of highly by AC Milan, was also part of the AC milan B team that went all the way to Europa youth league final.
We were very lucky to get Nsiala thanks to Koppen, a lot of clubs were after him.

10.) 02 Feb 2025 13:06:54
We all see through you storm.

11.) 02 Feb 2025 13:50:20
SWS you are right so by that logic we aren't after him because his name is out there.

12.) 02 Feb 2025 14:16:36
Aw my wee pal unbeliever is back ?? I don't care what anyone thinks of me. So batter in wee yin.

Looking elsewhere what a window for Aston Villa. Rashford Disasi and Asencio they could be a team to get to further into the CL and with a great coach.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 03 Feb 2025 21:13:13
Rashford has been rotten for years.

2.) 03 Feb 2025 21:25:10
Quality player who may come alive at villa.

3.) 03 Feb 2025 21:56:13
Over rated player. He's a player with an abundance of talent but way way too inconsistent.

Consistency is never took into consideration with these over hyped English players.

I'd rather have Ollie Watkins as a striker n I'd rather have Antony Gordon as a wife player.

4.) 03 Feb 2025 22:17:10
Rashford needs to sort himself out, start with the team he has around him a load of sycophants not what he needs. He thinks he belongs at Barcelona or Madrid absolutely delusional.

5.) 03 Feb 2025 22:17:17
One Walter rashford not interested, there is the definition of a player who downed tools.

6.) 04 Feb 2025 00:00:37
He's severely overweight did anybody see his pics today?

7.) 04 Feb 2025 03:46:18
Rashford has been in decline for a long time now. Poor attitude, crazy late nights and bad friendship group. His agent/ team regularly have to track him down and drag him from some party or his bed for training.

8.) 04 Feb 2025 05:10:09
He could ows just don't see it.

9.) 04 Feb 2025 06:56:48
Nope not for me, not interested no application.

10.) 04 Feb 2025 08:21:23
Plus Man U had to sell they have ffp breathing down there necks.

03 Feb 2025 19:31:01
H&H says on more buisness the club were working on a deal for a winger but his club couldn't get a replacement. Dissapointing really thought after top 8 we'd bring in a wide player.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 03 Feb 2025 19:47:09
It's a game of dominoes.

As I understand it, the LW is similar to Jefte in that the deal is done in principle and he'll join in the summer.

Also, club will continue to work on the OOC players ahead of the summer.

2.) 03 Feb 2025 19:56:18
Do you know who the left winger is EHL, that the deal is done for to come in the summer mate ?Is it mouad dahak by any chance? ?

3.) 03 Feb 2025 20:17:13
SWS if he tells you now someone else will just go for him. better to wait until deal agreed.

Good news EHL and better to wait and get the right deals.

4.) 03 Feb 2025 20:51:42
Sooner this is out the road the better, same f n Q's aw day.

5.) 03 Feb 2025 21:05:47
Making money from Europe helps service the debt not give us cash for new players . With everybody fit we have a strong squad, bank the money for the summer and put it towards making Cerny permanent.

6.) 03 Feb 2025 21:14:00
Correct fork by the same people ?.

7.) 03 Feb 2025 22:05:45
I agree folks, the last thing we need is panic buys that we get no value back from. My main niggle folks, is this, for the past 4 years or so, we made a load of money from Europe, and yet, we're still in a financial mess, we need to get to the position where our earnings will be ours to do with as we please, i. e strengthen the playing staff. We can't keep limping along like this and maintain our results for ever, we need fresh financial blood on our Board, sooner rather than later who will be able to generate some real growth for us.

8.) 03 Feb 2025 22:27:36
People surely do realise the reason all the European money was used up was because we have lived over our means. If we continue to just get new investment then that won't change. we need to start anew and become self-sufficient; sell players, pay lower wages and develop a young hungry team. the days of the 90s is over. i'd rather become a team similar to one of the Scandinavian teams who do well, or an Ajax or OPSV who'd despite much higher budgets still buy low and sell high. that is where I want us to be asap. not continually looking for the next white knight to charge along and bale us out with loans.

9.) 04 Feb 2025 08:25:39
Some people don't understand the term starting with a clean slate Angus lol.

10.) 04 Feb 2025 08:39:33
Good Morning Angus, I still feel if you compare us to a business where we're working with cheaper machine parts, eventually that machinery will not work at the same level, football is no different, we are going to have to go through this process every year for God knows how long. We will continue to have to use our income to stand still, as eventually we will not have the quality in our squad to maintain the European Income, the income from the Scottish Competitions is very meagre and won't support us going forward.

02 Feb 2025 20:04:53
With the break coming up after the cup tie the players fully deserve to enjoy it for the effort and way they've stuck together over past few months considering the injuries and how some have played out of position.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 02 Feb 2025 20:39:43
What break? We have a week off do we not? Same as this week?

2.) 02 Feb 2025 21:39:58
We don't have any midweek fixtures until March and I'm sure there's an. int break coming up.

3.) 02 Feb 2025 21:42:30
Be more time spent on the training field, yes Paul.

4.) 02 Feb 2025 21:47:09
Paul86 my mistake there's no int break but we've 1 game a week until end of Feb so less hectic than it's been.

5.) 02 Feb 2025 22:01:56
He said after the cup tie.

6.) 02 Feb 2025 22:44:30
PC said after USG game on TNT, " it will be good to get some actual training, and injured players back"

7.) 02 Feb 2025 23:20:19
No time off, WORK ON CORNERS AT BOTH ENDS!

8.) 03 Feb 2025 05:44:21
Wasnt trying to be smart mate. Genuinely had me confused incase i had missed something. ?. I know we have a week before cup game then again hearts game. Looks like there off to london for a piss up. Bit team bonding. Certainly worked in the past. Ricksen used to go on a mad one down there weekly amoung others ?.

02 Feb 2025 18:52:39
Listening to pc press conference i didn't get the feeling pc is expecting any1 in or out.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 02 Feb 2025 19:32:55
Same post everyday the now OWS.

2.) 02 Feb 2025 19:45:58
OWS I saw a few lines of what he said so may not be right. I thought he said the board know what he wants as in types of players when asked what he wanted his squad to look like at end of window. didn't see it as I say so did you think by what he said and how he said it that he believes that the board won't get anyone in for him.

3.) 02 Feb 2025 19:46:56
I'm gutted if this is the case but not many clubs willing to let players go in January without paying stupid money.

4.) 02 Feb 2025 19:59:50
Rfc if we can get guys back fit then I'd be happy to wait till the summer.

5.) 02 Feb 2025 20:00:57
Orange scroll past then i ll never be critical of anyone who's a fan posting genuine concerns or questions.

6.) 02 Feb 2025 20:13:34
He has a point ows how many times have you posted this? Chill the feck out mate and relax whatever will be will be.

7.) 02 Feb 2025 21:08:08
Storm i. ll say same to you scroll past as many frequently do with yiur sarky comments. Simple as that.

8.) 02 Feb 2025 22:31:07
Do u trust PC and Koppen Ows?

02 Feb 2025 14:32:02
If no incoming by close of the window and assuming no1 leaves has this been a good window? Personally I'd have liked a wide player brought in and Cameton if indeed we've agreed a pre contract.

Onewaltersmith

1.) 02 Feb 2025 15:11:50
I think we're Lawrence leaving from being a really good window. No offence to him, just will help clear the way for younger players to come through.

2.) 02 Feb 2025 18:17:32
Only reason i can think PC keeping him is he knows he's no getting anyone to replace him.

3.) 02 Feb 2025 18:49:42
Dado. more likely that the teams who want to sign him don't want to pay a fee and we are unwilling to pay up his contract. He brings experience to the club even if he isn't playing and can help bring on young lads in training.
think if as EHL says we have players lined up for summer and already signed up OOC then it will be good for next season if not the end of this one.

I think cortes has to write of this season and hope with a good pre season we can see why NK who many fans praise on here paid the money he did.

Sws that's a bit of a stretch. He's a good player and has still to develop. Long way to go and if your right expect clubs in this summer to buy his potential similar to. igamane.

Sws he's a good technical player but I'd want him at ch his chances would be limited in midfield imo.
