Good Morning All Bears ?
I remember midway through last season, once we all knew the takeover was happening, I said that summer would bring a major turnover in our playing squad.
Some didn't think it would be as many changes as I predicted.
Well, I'm going to make another prediction.
I've got a gut feeling that by the start of the 26/27 season, we'll once again see a completely different lineup but this time, one that every fan can get behind. I genuinely believe we'll have the strongest squad we've had in years, and that we'll be in a position to make a clean sweep of all domestic competitions.
Pin this post and laugh at me later if I'm wrong but something tells me the gloves are off. The new owners seem to be working quietly in the background, and I think they're going to pull a few surprises out of the bag. Our team is going to be a real force.
I'm honestly excited about the future. After the early scare and the rough beginning to their reign, I think we're about to see a very different story unfold one that will excite every one of us, and one that will give us a team worthy of our support and of wearing the badge.
Whatever happens this season, next season is going to be something special, and the east side won't know what's hit them. ?
Happy Saturday ?.

I still feel positive stig. I think that they underestimated the size of the club, fan base and expectations. Now I think they get it. I am still hopeful for the league and a cup.

Atta boy Stig. Love optimists. Personally I'm a glass half empty person, too late in life to change now.

We have to have a brand new line up or we'll be fecked again next season, the current crop is not good enough. I hope you're right.

Stig I would in all honesty love this to be true, But it's going to take a hell of a lot of funds and negotiating of players out the door.
??????????.

Hope you're correct but have a sneaky feeling that our rivals are going to spend big in January and in the summer. I don't think we can match their spending power if they open the biscuit tin fully. The way our recruitment has went the past few years doesn't fill me with any confidence.
29 Nov 2025 13:00:28
It's hard to spend big in Jan especially for a Scottish team gersdaft hard month to get players in.
29 Nov 2025 13:09:02
Remember they have no champions league monies and very liking next season as well.
They normally bring more cash in that out with selling players, Gers daft, but that will be a problem for them now, as not many players valued above 10m, if any, wouldn't put it past the Celtic board to go for the cheap option again for future profit, it never worked the last time, and they failed on the bigger fees paid, but the manager they have choosing is a massive gamble, he's going change things up, which never goes well to begin with.
Not a chance is Rangers out of this title race, we need a good January transfer window, but i do think we will be closer than five points from Celtic before the turn of the year.
What also needs remembered is we have players not getting in our match day squad that walks into any team in this league, maybe we don't think they're good enough for Rangers but they start for others in this league except them.

Hopefully stig, but for that to happen there will need to be a turn around of about 15 players going one way and 15 going the other way mate. A huge part of our problem is constantly signing guys from absolutely mediocre teams that don't know what it's like to win consistently.
We sign these guys from clubs that are mid table or just happy to keep themselves in the league they are in, throw them together and expect them to start winning constantly against guys that give absolutely everything to beat us in spl and they just don't know what's hit them at times, can't handle the pressure coming from teams like Peterborough, Sheffield Wednesday, Everton bench, go ahead eagles, Luton Town, Girona also thinking that it's just Scotland so any player that can't get into an EPL team will still be great up there.
Those 2 balloons that got sacked totally underestimated us, like many before them. I never thought we would win the league, but what I was looking for was going into next season was to build on this season with 2 or 3 real quality players to add to what we bought this year, yet again it's a whole new build, how did we get it so wrong?
29 Nov 2025 13:16:04
Stig,
You're eternal optimist like me. Hibees gubbing Tims morra great start.
29 Nov 2025 13:42:30
They walk into other teams in league except Celtic?♂️.
We struggle against every team in the league but our players walk into these teams?♂️.
29 Nov 2025 13:44:07
We have got a tough run of games up til the transfer window but if we can stay within 5 points (maximum) with "them" then it will be all to play for in the New Year.
29 Nov 2025 14:19:17
Boomerang so we should beat every other club, Celtic ain't much better either, been a long time since we lost against them in game time, needed extra time or penalties, must be something like eight games or very similar.
29 Nov 2025 14:20:36
Obviously you have no answer for the other things i said about your club boomerang.
29 Nov 2025 15:29:39
You've been saying the same things about Celtic for years and they still dominate. I don't think anyone takes any notice of your opinions.
29 Nov 2025 16:09:37
They won't spend big unless they really need to.
They do need a striker and with the way we are just now there is no real need to panic for them.
29 Nov 2025 16:25:48
So do I stig, because this squad is not even close to good enough, there's a hard core needing weeded out.
29 Nov 2025 16:34:44
Coldo think your getting confused with you.
29 Nov 2025 17:21:50
You're right Tom, unfortunately the squad needs a complete overhaul again. Its going to be difficult to move most of these players on.
