What is the thoughts on PCs comments on asking the powers that be to postpone league fixture leading up to a big European game.
Surely a competitive game at this early point of the season is a good thing leading up to a European game, the pre season was poor so I would welcome as many competitive games as we can play at this point, would say the real issue is the lack of quality in the team at the moment.

I agree that it would be a benefit in the group stages but not at this time of the season where postponing the hearts game would have meant playing Kiev with no competent matches before. That would have been more of a hindrance than a help.

He seemed to suggest that he wants to choose which games to have a rest and when not as well. The last thing rangers needed was yesterday’s game being postponed, that benefits us later in the campaign but certainly not before the season starts.

Read what he said, he said that playing the competitive match before the Kiev games is what we needed but he said that other countries give help to their clubs by postponing games so that players will be fresh and its something that could be looked at in Scotland. It was a typical daft question from the media and he answered in well. Read these things properly not just the headline before you criticise the guy.

There is no doubt that he has put money into the club John, Does that make him exempt from questions from the supporters, there has not been transparency between the board and the fans and that has been contrary to what John Bennett has said in the past, the best in class statement always comes up aswell, could he not have came out and gave a general statement sooner about lack of funds, stadium etc.
Just because you have ploughed millions into a club does not mean that questions can’t be asked, and I’m not referring to the idiots mouthing off after the last old firm game.
I as a fan appreciate what he’s done financially with the club, but do I believe as a chairman he could have tried to create a better relationship with the support, yes. Maybe it’s the way it is but it does not mean that the support have to agree with it.

How can you be in breach of contract if he does not play, we are not publicly saying he isn’t playing because of the clause whether that’s true or not, How could you prove that if the club states that he is surplus to the team now because he’s not deemed good enough.
No way is this the first time something like this has happened, has a club been taken to task for something similar in the past?

Who knows whether he did offer to resign, but whatever way you look at it the decision to offer him a four year deal was bizarre.

Unfortunately there has always been incidents with fans having a go at players when the chips are down, I witnessed a couple and the incident you are referring to with McCoist was big DJ with Davie Cooper having to intervene in 1983.

Agree Dado, he’s only played once for us in his main position, needs a run of games there.
Strange on here sometimes, some players get defended to the hilt regardless of how they are playing, then later saw posts questioning Bajrami as being no good centrally after one game.

Huey we are talking about his current form and not been playing well, that’s the issue with me, if some fans are content with his defending costing us time and time again well that's a personal opinion and one that myself and a lot don’t agree with, but can we lay off the if Tav plays well he will still get it nonsense, because a lot of posters on here are just expressing an opinion like you.

He was brought in as a right back having played there for Chelsea youths and Stoke for a season or two, he hasn’t been given much of an opportunity so before we judge him he deserves a run of games there does he not, he’s not a natural midfielder so where else do we play him and he’s just been given a new contract.
No doubt him and Kasawiro will be more natural options there, maybe I’m old fashioned but would like a full back to be decent defensively first and foremost.
