So if rumour is to be believed some of our senior players went to complain to the board about pc. If this is true it's ridiculous, how dare they. Their job is to play football not pick and choose who the manager is, does the same happen with the next manager if they don't like him either?
Who suffers the most when players down tools, the manager obviously but us fans as well that pay good money to go watch a team that can't be annoyed playing because they don't like the manager .? maybe if they carried out instructions and listened to the man that's probably won more titles than that full dressing room put together, but they seem to think they know better. It's so obvious that it was tav and Butland been rumours for past 4 months they didn't like him. Raging!

Billy big baws has been going on for a long time. Not just in football. Think about it. 20/ 30k a week, Company car, Free this and that and all that goes with it. It can go to the head. How many MPs or people in the media or high ranking do you see crash to the lowest point due to Billy big baws?

Bigger managers than Clement have lost the dressing room and when that happens it's over for any manager.
Ancelotti at Bayern, Jose at Chelsea and Madrid.
It really doesn't matter the tactic didn't work. We had no midfield, no build up play and can't defend. Are players performances up to standard? Of course not but you need to give them a platform.
This entire season has been based on individual performances Barron and dessers at the start of the season, then it was Raskin and Cerny spell, then Danilo and Hamza spell. That's a sign of poor coaching.
Players aren't faultless but he kept on choosing them.

At the end of the day these guys are paid by the club to perform on the park and regardless of what the manager asks they should give their all to win games, this has not been the case at all.

To further my own point Clement is the biggest culprit of letting our standards drop . Getting out played and scrapping wins and sitting there saying we was good today we created chances whilst simultaneously avoiding all criticism and blame on himself.
Again people are just upset it was Tav, If it was Raskin, Hamza and Sterling that wasn't happy about the manager you wouldn't have batted an eye.

It should be pretty obvious to any new regime (consortium) where our failings lie and the billy big baws and hangers on will be weeded out once and for all and only then will we get a team/ squad/ club to be proud of again -many on here have wanted true change for years but we will be a different and far better team when our Captain moves on imho (I applaud his positive input of years gone by but now we are just festering with him around) - it will be best for both parties and the sooner the better - time for REAL TRUE change is hopefully on the horizon lads?.

Aerondonn you're probably getting a bit of a challenge because you've been very selective on what you judge PC. You've failed to mention the continuous injury issues or players leaving that had given him any ability to be consistent enough with his selection to have. Midfield who can build up and create attacks. Don't get me wrong, he had to go based on what we got on the park but people on saying he had no tactical knowledge and was a fraudster (not saying you) are ironically fraudsters themselves when commenting on ability to understand tactics and how they wanted to play. Prob listening to the media and taking it as their own view.
I'd take the Celtic performances as the best example. He knew how he wanted to play them. They didn't like that press and it clearly took the players time to implement that. But that was working when you look at the last few performances considering where each team is in quality.

Correct Sollo and the Celtic example shows that it takes the players time both to understand and then implement any new style. so the same thing might have been happening with low block but as the results of play weren't as obvious to the players (or anyone) then it was taking longer.

Sollo I completely agree with your comment, I have been selective but that's just because we all know the story by now. On a personal level I feel for Clement.
There's just moments throughout the season where his comments and team selection don't match up with what he was saying. which is where I feel he truly failed. Butland jibe at the start of the season, Dropping sterling after he called the team out when Tav needed "rest" "Hagi will never play for Rangers again" I could go on but it's over now.

Genuine title experience? He's failed everywhere outside Belgium. Angus and Sollof, why are you still making excuses for this joker. Listen to his instructions, takes time to implement a new style. He was so far out his depth, it was obvious the guy had no idea what he was doing. We could have gave him another two year and we'd still be waiting to see what he was trying to do. The guy is a fraud. Two things can be true at once.
1. PC was a terrible Manager for our club. He had some challenging circumstances, sure, I have sympathy there, but he also should have absolutely gotten more out of what he had to work with but his stubbornness saw him stick to a tactical framework we could all see wasn't and was never going to work. That's on him. He talked a lot about "finding solutions" yet never once changed the way he wanted to play. As an example of an elite Manager, Walters tactics changed entirely from his first spell to his second because he adapted to the changed circumstances and players he had available. His willingness to adjust saw him rubbishhouse our way to a European final with Kirk f*cking Broadfoot playing every week. One of the many reasons the man was a genius. PC was never going to compare, but he showed no signs of adapting. He wanted to force his style on the Scottish game, rather than adapting it to suit and he failed miserably.
2. The senior leadership group have a damn cheek questioning the manager given the performances they've turned in for him this season. His tactics haven't led to Butland chucking so many in the net or Tavernier being lazy in the defensive transition (this has always been the case) . If all accounts are true (and they may not be) they seem to have forgotten that authority/ respect have to be earned, they don't come with the "leadership" title. I'd have no issues with some of our past players raising concerns, because they earned the right to. These players, IMO, have not. That doesn't sit right with me and if I were an incoming manager and this were true, having watched the games this season and last, they'd never play for me again because I know off the bat I can't trust them.
In the end, PC out was the right call. But if it were led by a player revolt, the problems in that dressing room are bigger than a manager given how they've performed for a prolonged period.

Few folk complaining about Baz and I can see why however despite Clements so called title experience it wasn't doing us any good for months there's been no heart, no fight, no plan or identity so although no everyones choice Baz is blue on the inside was a fantastic leader for our team i'm hoping he can install that into some of our current lads and make them realise how lucky they are to be able to pull on the jersey of our famous club if he does that he will have surpassed anything Clement did.

I think that keeping a player who was up for leaving in January who is also the captain (the captain through some of our worst footballing history) and has delivered little success was a massive mistake. Was it any coincidence that we looked better with raskin as captain? His body language and patented blame game methods on the pitch are rotten. He should have been amongst the other dead wood to leave and I'll wait for the games/ goals/ assists retort and acknowledge this much but he has to be stripped and his exit facilitated as soon as the window opens. He is one of the current players that turn and poison as soon as his sh*t begins to stink… time to cut off the dead limb and grow.

I think Saturday was the first time that the players looked as if they had stopped playing for the manager and although Tav didn't play well but there were a lot worse than him out there, Jefte, big money signing Diomande, Dessers who hid most of the game, Cerny who bricked it every time he was tackled, Hagi who was disinterested and 3 subs who contributed zero when they came on.
All these stories about Tavs attitude not backed up by his team mates or indeed 4 managers who have made him captain. Change the record.

As i make my last post under this name, for obvious reasons, i find myself strangely, in 100% agreement with storm! as my own friends have noted Tav's body language with clement, including the league cup win, was sour. had to be dropped as returned clearly unfit as a reaction to last season. our best run this season coincided with tav's omission and went off after the belated xmas party. my belief why the current team have been employed. No football manager that comes in should have less than total control. unless the players disagree?
Clement's problem? couldn't create variances of play within a system.

Well said stevieg2,seeker and gdog, it's becoming ridiculous how much people are jumping on his posts. Ppl seem to think it's ok to have a go it's just swso, people even calling him out on a bet he made, it's not nice at all. The ones doing it wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of it, that's for sure. We don't know each other on here, all we have is our word. Swso saying it's not bothering him, I don't beleive that as we are all human at the end of the day.

Yeah guys I know about the dangers just can't seem to stop, I've tried a few times. I seem to have a very addictive personality, had a horrendous time with drugs/ alcohol when I was younger, with great difficulty I managed to kick those, just can't seem to get this one over the line, yet! Thanks for the concern ?.

When i gave up alcohol 15 years ago, i started drinking red bull, I've drink between 4/ 5 every day for 15 years. I've hugely supported them it's time they support my team with a huge sponsorship, please ?.
{Ed001's Note - be careful mate, that stuff will destroy your liver. Energy drinks are not good for you at all, which is why athletes empty them out of the bottles and fill it with different drinks! I got a really bad liver infection due to drinking energy drinks.}
