Although his defending is quite poor at times always has been, tav currently top scorer and top assister. Probably a big reason he keeps getting new deals. Once he's gone he will be a huge loss of numbers.

Never got my head round professional (doing it for a living! ) footballers not being able to hit a dead ball. It's literally what you get paid for.
And I do understand some are better than others yada yada, but jeezo, if I could spend days on end practicing hitting a dead ball I'm pretty sure I would be fairly good at it after a while.

No it probably not Tav decision to take everything, so does that not reflect badly on coaches than we do not have any variation at set pieces,
What do they do all days at training if not trying new ideas as most teams find it easy to defend these against us.

would think its the manager who decides who takes what. so maybe on the training park Tav shows more consistency than others. maybe i am wrong. but why would a coach not say tav you aren't taking these because big joe is better than you.

Jasp you can try new things in training that's fine, the coaches are still going to want to the best set piece taker to take it. We've scored two corners in the last two games both assisted by him.
Obviously peoples opinions are different but i know if i had to pick someone to take a free kick/penalty/corner in a big moment it would 100% be Tavernier over anyone else in the squad.

Been supporting Rangers since the mid 80s and without doubt Tav is one of the greatest when it comes to ball delivery. His direct attacking play has been crucial to any success we've had since he's been at Rangers. There isn't even an argument against it. Some people will throw all manners of crap just to meet their own agenda.

Tav has ran his course. I get we don't currently have a better option at RB but that's a failure of recruitment not an endorsement of Tav.

Nobody cares. You're always talking about every manager, most of them sacked btw, that was in the past when tav was an asset. Past glories don't excuse mediocrity now he's on the slide, time waits for no one. He was gd in the past he isn't anymore, as R1 said.
