I'm not convinced Jesper. Chris Jack's information seems to contradict the statement yesterday that the club was immediately embarking upon a robust process to recruit a CEO and Chair.
DK has support on the Board including amongst Non Exec Directors (who will be part of an election process) . He also has plenty of Directors against his appointment mind y.

does anyone remember Ratners, the jewelry chain that was popular until the CEO when asked why it was popular stated that it was crap they sold which made it affordable. Closed down within a month of that statement. Moral of the story is you don't share certain things with the media and King should never have said what he said.

Bottom line,
King would have been better picking up the phone and speaking to in his words “The current incumbent’s” about what he can do to help in the current situation rather than running to the press.
I’m not saying King can’t help but IMO we could do with fresh leadership.

Rangers had the intention of bringing the average age of the squad down this summer. That is what you are seeing. They won’t buy older guys for experience, we already have that.
Rangers also lacked player with resale value. Not enough young promising talent being developed and sold on, these young guys better suit the transfer model. Rangers must buy and sell for profit if they are to thrive.

Clinton Nsiala was linked with numerous clubs so it’s good that he has chosen to sign for Rangers.
To be honest it’s a name that very few of us will be familiar with but then again so was Calvin Bassey.
Good to see us signing young players that meet our player trading model, and hopefully we sign one or two experienced players to give the team/ squad some balance.

Harhun, if nsiala is good enough he's old enough, simple as that ?We have to remember acmilan were offering him a 3 year contract to stay with them and that says how highly they rated him ? Also Stuttgart and leece and another club we're wanting to sign him, so the young man clearly has quality and sometimes the names we're not familiar with, end up being the best signings and the ones we're more impressed with ? We're not going to pay large fees for players in their late 20's, with no sell on prospects/ player trading ? That's why there's no chance clement will try and sign lawrence shankland etc ?.

Weird obsession with people names on here… never mind if it’s a shortening of ones first and second names… however if you happen to make a comment that is outwith some members thinking you are classed as one of them… was trying to point out that the lad has played less then a handful of first team games plus the German lad were are being linked with is also very young… I will be delighted to be proved wrong and wish the lad all the best in his career with us… maybe I should stick some union jacks on this or a reference to Ibrox, 1872 etc to justify me being able to comment ?♂️.

Short term King will come in and steady the ship, fans furore towards the board will fade and the team, hopefully will start producing the goods on the park. King pulled a master stroke when appointing SG as manager, can he orchestrate something again at board level? Who knows. Long term, personally I think that the share holding Directors that are also our investors is not the direction the club needs to be going. There's too much conflicting influence and decision making. A sole investor that obtains a majority holding will be able to take the club forward. Its a huge sell though as our league is being sold off cheap by the SPFL. Something the East End mob are happy with just competing for domestic titles. At present, its not a big money maker.

Other than members of the board, there are very little real Rangers men at the club. No players and no background staff. Personally I think it's something that's greatly missed. Especially with regards to digging deep against 'them'.

Agree totally with most points, in particular the shared percentage of prize money in the leagues. Far too much is paid to the winners and 2nd place. As for trying to encourage and entice investment, well I would be looking to have my first Supercup competition in Saudi Arabia against their top teams. We seriously need to change The SPFL and SFA Hierarchy first, leagues are ran by balloons!
