SSB tonight, lad on that has a source of good info in the past has just thrown Sean Dyche name down to be the new Rangers Manager. I certainly think it's a name that will be in the mix. A good no nonsense character that I think would do well at our club.

All opinions but I'd happily take Dyche. Our main issue is rancid defending and giving away sloppy goals! Has been for years (other than 55) He'd bring in no nonsense defenders and would happily win games 1-0, rather than lose tothose we've lost to for last few seasons.

I've posted this before, most of the good rumours I hear don't come from within the club - but from coaches in other Scottish clubs.
Our club is very well protected in terms of leaks and most people employed - especially at my level - are feeding off scraps of rumours.
For several weeks now there's been three names constantly talked about around the training centre - neither Gerard, but that doesn't mean it's not Stevie G.

Util takeover is signed then nothing is guaranteed. I imagine that to get the best deals for the club at the time the supplier and the club wants a bit of security so both willing to commit long-term which gets most money for us and most return for the club. every sponsorship deal is same and a club can't go into them not knowing if they will still be in position at the club never mind in control of it. good deals at the time I imagine so to be applauded.
I don't think the difference would be huge anyway as I think fair value would prevent that, i. e. we can't sign a £20M shirt deal when the most anyone in Scotland has signed is a £5M one; or at least my understanding.

Open market share price is 35p per share, which values us about £180m although recent shares issues to existing holders have been at 20p per share valuing us around £106m. £30mish in debt and loans mainly to directors that would be taken on by new owners so it gives a ballpark figure. But have they really done as much as people say i always hear people bigging these guys up but truth is they failed big time and left us in not a great position finacially either.
Also would these people fet the wages they take from Rangers in other jobs i highly doubt it so its not all about Rangers its about thier own pockets and egos too.
They maybe had good intentions but was not an unselfish endeavour.

My star i own kits of all types and the worst quality one i have is a schalke top made by umbro. closely followed by some of castore's Rangers tops. Puma, Nike, adidas are all well clear of umbro for quality and comfort.

EHL, with regards to Stadium issues, surely that comes the infrastructure umbrella and doesn't count towards FFP monies. We can also spend upto and in some cases €5M in each reporting period (3years) .
However, it can exceed that level to a limit if it is covered by a direct contribution from the club's owner. With the new takeover we will now have majority ownership of the Club in Cavanagh and 49ers, this can also give more movement in finances if I'm not mistaken. We can also free monies up against Club assets, such as NEH, RTC and the renaming of Ibrox Sradium. i'm not expert, that's just my educated understanding of things.

The new owners i believe can generate monies from club assets. Renaming RTC and Ibrox Stadium. They could also purchase and rename NEH. I wouldn't be surprised if Red Bull don't inject a massive sponsorship deal at some point.

Europa league money is yet to be taken into account. I believe also, if ghe new majority shareholders invest buy let's say purchasing NEH, naming rights of Ibrox and the Training centre, that will also allow more money to be invested into the team. Then we have new sponsorship deals that I'm sure are in the wings waiting to be announced for next season. Umbro (Castore) being one of them.
