Jens Hjertø-Dahl is exactly the profile we are missing.

Tjark Ernst
Marton Dardai
Oskar Sivertsen
Tobias Gulliksen
Valgier Friðriksson
Felix beijmo
Rafiu Durosinmi.

7 signing that would take us to q new level.

Just need to try and sell players to make it possible.

Just add the Swedish Chef from the Muppets and the job is sorted. ?.

Good list Asathor. I note the latter 2 have contracts expiring in Summer. Maybe we can seize the initiative and agree terms before atempting to bring deals forward with their respective clubs.
Off topic I was wondering recently if you had seen much of Neraysho Kasanwirjo during his time at Molde this season and if he has made in sort of impression.

I thought he looked very good last season prior to his horror injury representing Netherlands U21's.

Asathor

C#####, that shouldn't be difficult, our squad bulging with unneeded and unwanted. Given garbage last pair bought even worse. There has to be scope being cynical getting rid great Tims for max fees where possible and try regain total just spent by hoddit and doddit.

08 Dec 2025 10:25:05
Yes Robert hopefully we can agree pre contract agreements.

I personally really like Kasa but from the little i seen of him he was average at best.
With how the season has went i don't believe his performances would have improved the Rangers defence by very much.

08 Dec 2025 11:02:41
Thanks Asa. Kasanwirjo's ability to cover multiple positions at back made him look an attractive loan option. I forget we have Sterling back now who can also do this. Just need to keep him fit and he will be like a new signing.

08 Dec 2025 12:13:05
Asa? You say you really like Kasa but he was average at best. Isn't that a contradiction.?. Welcome back btw.

08 Dec 2025 12:17:28
We have to be careful i think with players from scandanavia. Tims brought in holm and i remember he was supposed to be a great talent. turns out a total dud. Certain players even in likes of the bodo side don't cut it outside of norway.

08 Dec 2025 12:21:00
Jesse Lingard anyone?

08 Dec 2025 12:49:18
That is a worry about signing any foreign player Paul, not only Norwegians, any nationality mate, some settle some don't.

08 Dec 2025 12:55:56
What's my name I'd offer him 2 week trial if he can prove himself for and able but I'd only be offering 20k a week max and a short term deal with option so if that's not for him we move on.

08 Dec 2025 12:56:31
What's my name there was no contradiction.
I like him as a player and I can see the potential but I made an objective observation of his performances.

Paul only 1 in that list plays in Norway and only 3 are Norwegian.

08 Dec 2025 13:03:32
Don't know anything about they 8 players, they might all be brilliant but it doesn't exactly fit with the idea of bringing in players who know Rangers and Scottish football. That said, if they are even close to being as good as our greatest ever Scandinavian, Brian Laudrup, bring them in.

08 Dec 2025 13:03:34
Paul I agree and the first 2 are playing at German 2nd level for several years. If they were of the quality we need they would surely have been spotted by now.
However it isn't if they are just good players but can they adapt from the level they are at to the goldfish bowl of the old firm and Scottish media with the expectations placed on them.

Antman as the top assist provider in Holland last year is struggling. Sivertsen just move to Go ahead and in 17 games hasn't scored or provided an assist.
If what we need is experience as reported then most of these are young lads apart from 27yo Friorikssen. so we would be replacing our youngsters with mainly untried (at top level) guys.

08 Dec 2025 13:34:18
I can't say I know much of the players on the list but I do know from what I have seen of Durosinmi he walks into our starting line up as a 9 this season. There were reports Rangers made a late bid to sign him possibly as a replacement for Danilo during the summer but nothing materialised from it.

With his contract status at Pilzen I would like to think a deal can be thrashed out that brings him to Rangers next summer if not sooner.

08 Dec 2025 15:49:01
Quick answer to that debate Aasgaard, Norwegian international who can't get a game for us, he might have a bit of ability but you need more than that to succeed for Rangers.

08 Dec 2025 17:08:18
163 appearances and scoring 30 times in an outstanding five-year spell in Lancashire.
Aasgard has the ability to succeed at Rangers and has played LW but mainly as a No10 at his previous clubs.
Sometimes players settle quicker than others at new clubs.

08 Dec 2025 17:38:05
Not settled in the first few months at Rangers, you're not good enough.

08 Dec 2025 18:31:40
Your right you don't get time here to strut about, he's not good enough to do that.

08 Dec 2025 18:38:43
Star I guess you are saying what fans think rather than what you think as you normally seem to realise it takes time to settle and find full form ?.

08 Dec 2025 20:33:12
Let's give all the new guys a year to 18 months to settle and we will be fine.
I don't have an issue with one or two taking a bit of time to settle but when it's 5 or 6 we can't sustain that, for me that's too many in at the one time.
It has to be done in tandem with winning games and challenging.

Just my opinion of course, last thing on Aasgaard what frustrates me with him is no doubt he has some talent but that would flourish better with a willingness to do the hard yards, then maybe he would be more involved with the play.
