Lads not been on for a while so maybe already been mentioned but just read an article saying we are interested in Aribo is there any truth in this? Better than anything we have, I know some say never go back but we have went backwards so far in such a brief period I'd take big joe back no probs.

Personally can't see it mcmillst, but I'd take aribo back. He's got goals in him, can find a killer pass, good for getting the ball to him and being able to get up the park, something we're in dire need of.

Please don't take this as an insult or a go but why do we always look backwards. Kent, Barasic, aribo, Morelos,. Find the next one not the old one.

i agree ayrshire to some extent but you also want to have experienced players, Davis and McGregor came back in their 30s as experienced players and both had a positive impact.
Aribo has experience winning trophies and in Europe, each time i see it mentioned on here the more i think it'll be a good signing if true.

Aribo is a tricky one, i'm not into kent or barasic coming back as one downed tools and the other was shot. But joe aribo was performing well, scored in a euro final and left for a good fee, and the fact he was on 70 grand a week is irrelevant as hel be on zero when his contract expires.
I also think its paper talk tbf though. I can see a few english clubs willing to take him, and even half his current wage is a push for us. He was a crackin player for us after a slow start.

Ayrshiremurphy - it's always good to look forward but our squad has regressed so much and Nils Koppen did find the next one but unfortunately he is no longer at Rangers.
Aribo was a class player and would still do a job for us but not on his current wages.
