Good team performance at Rugby Park last night. I felt we played a lot better without Tav. Barron was once again a standout in our midfield and I was glad Bojan got a couple of goals that will boost his confidence. On too Budapest now. Let's go Rangers ?.

It was a good result, with 3 finely taken goals, and it will help to boost our players confidence. I was made up for Miovski, who looked really good last night. However, our defensive frailties are still there for all to see, and that needs to get addressed.
Let's not get too carried away here. Killie are horrendous just now, and looking like one of the favourites to go down, so beating them is no benchmark.
Wee Barron was a standout, but standing out against one of the worst teams in the league, is a helluva lot different from standing out against the tims, Hearts, or in Europe. Looking good against Kille, Livi etc, should be bread and butter for a player like Barron. In my opinion, he should be back up and nothing more, but until we buy better, he'll continue to start.
What is it with Diomonde? You know i think he's a bang average player, who hasn't returned anywhere near the fee we payed for him, but it's not just his performances. The boy is a liability and a red card waiting to happen. He got lucky with the pullback, and his personal grievance with their captain last night could have landed him in trouble. The boy has an attitude problem!

Agreed Florida, thought the defence showed signs of improving but still far too many unforced mistakes for a Rangers defence.
Barron is currently thriving and here's hoping it continues and this is career starting proper now.
Said to my son before the game, "I really hope Miovski scores today", couldn't be happier for him. Hope people now give him a bit of a chance and remember… first months McCoist was abysmal and Negri was amazing, sometimes rubbish happens ?.

The wee man sprinting back for that goal line clearance was class, reminds me of my youth, bolting down to greig's for the last sausage roll, and good to see Miovski get his goals, more like I remember him at the sheep.

Thanks Ed ?.
{Ed001's Note - what for mate?}

Consistency is how the key lads. I agree with you there sunshine he needs to take his game to the next level and do it against the bigger teams. I think he will once he has better players beside him. Dio is one for me that has never kicked on and done it in the SPL.
Yes some of his European performances have been impressive but he has always been weak as piss in the league. He needs replaced. Fernandes is another I believe will come on once that scare Djiga is replaced and we have a decent centre half ?.

I just said similar above Sunshine, the guy is a complete waste of space and I hope he's one the next out the door.

My takes from last night:
Fernandez is better than Djiga
Tav not missed at RB
Barron is our most effective CM
Bajrami should start if fit
Curtis should get more game time
Moore is our key creatively
Miovski is first choice CF.

Florida, if you watch Scottish football you will see that Deas does this at every corner against everybody, he actually whacked Diomande in the face which was what set up all the aggro. He was stupid at the pull back incident but I won't fault him for standing up for himself.
07 Dec 2025 13:54:11
Totally agree florida, glad i watched it now. Dio looks to me like he wants out tbh, but he did have a couple of excellent turns where he broke the lines and opened up the full game.
We Barron was excellent, if he can keep that form up for us he'll be ok.
He's got a little bit of everything apart from shooting in his locker, it's his passing that let's him down a lot, but definitely not last night. Love how young Curtis has one thing on his mind when anywhere near the goal, we need more to be like that.
07 Dec 2025 14:37:27
Diomande was our only cm that got in behind yesterday.
07 Dec 2025 15:02:18
Dio was playing as the 10 last night, his job was to get in the box. Raskin and Barron were the deeper holding mids.
07 Dec 2025 15:17:36
Dio is the first sellable asset I'd be moving on he'd be first to sell if we had to sell someone.
07 Dec 2025 15:23:38
Diomande has far more ability than Barron, but every teams better with a cm that brings energy and dig to the middle of the park like Barron does, Coldo this must be the reason you change users names daily, noticed a massive change in your thinking about Miovski after yesterday, can you remember what you were saying about him only last week?
07 Dec 2025 15:27:04
I think the lads played well last night, marginally more assured at the back, relentless in the midfield driven by Barrons infectious energy, and a couple of goals from the front even with a low XG. IMO I think we need a different option up top, Chermiti and Miovski don't offer much different to one another, having a striker with speed and willing to run in behind would make a considerable difference.
Particularly at faster transitions given how much we struggle to break down the low block.
Better tho, plenty of positives to take and nice to see Finlay Curtis back getting minutes altho a shame to loose Barami given how he has played last few games.
07 Dec 2025 15:45:29
Why does Dio never show this ability? Miovski always has been our best striker, he has proved himself in this league already, that's why most people were cutting him slack. I just hope we can move Chermiti and Dio on and try and recoup some of £12.5m we've lost on them. I reckon we would be very lucky to get half of that back.
07 Dec 2025 16:08:39
We lose nothing on Diomande fgs, what did you say about Miovski last week and the week before? crazy man.
07 Dec 2025 16:23:35
Miovski is best striker we have and he will get goals if he gets the service. I disagree, I think we'll be lucky to get £4.5m for Dio, he's shown nothing to justify the fee we paid.
07 Dec 2025 16:27:28
Dio isn't as bad as you are making out. I agree for some reason he has become a liability and the manager having to make changes because of that. not ideal and don't know why this part of his game has changed.
the lad does have ability and shows some nice control and defence splitting passes. Dio is better than Aasgaarde.
