Interesting results in France re Maja (IF we’re interested) , Bordeaux dropped out promotion places with 1 game to go.

Bordeaux and Metz are both level on points but Metz have the better goal difference.

Most important thing for me from today is that it gets the monkey (so to speak?) off MB’s back for next season and doesn’t let the press ramp up the pressure before a ball’s been kicked. Excellent today Bears and plenty good stuff on show to be hopeful for next term. That level of passion + a few additions and we could be good to go ????Well done lads.

Didn't see that coming today, but beale spoke about being more decisive in both boxes. Two or three young fast more aggressive players signed and I'm looking forward to next season. Just glad we can shut up that bbc radio commentator who gushes about them every week!

Is anyone else starting to get that gnawing irritation growing as the subject of 'Fans boycotting because of prices' gathers pace.

It has been some years now since I regularly went to away games but one particular memory was, for years, turning up at matches, with a ticket in my hand that was priced about £4 or &5 more than the normal prices that were displayed above their turnstiles (Motherwell in particular but not exclusively), simply because we followed Rangers and they knew we would pay. It always bothered me at the time but it was never anything that got much of a mention.

Now I feel we are going to be on the other end of hypocritical rhetoric (once again) and as I mentioned, I'm starting to feel irritated already.
Just wondered if this was passing people by or the rest of the Bears had many thoughts etc. WATP.

While I agree with you totally, it's simple supply and demand I'm afraid, there are so many gers fans waiting to snap up the tickets that in theory they could double the price and we'd still buy them, victims of our own popularity.

Just my thoughts on Ridvan.
Has he started playing well and does he look like he might be a semi decent player - yes to both but, if it’s true that he’s not happy then does it not make sense that if we loan him to Verona and he continues on his upward trajectory that we are more likely to benefit as average players from the top 5 leagues always command a far better premium than good players from Scotland. Surely that has to be our thinking behind it ??‍♂️.

Some of the older lads might remember a documentary from the 90’s about the Chelsea academy. It followed them throughout the season and in the end, from all the hopefuls I’m pretty sure only Jody Morris actually succeeded in making the breakthrough. It was a good insight into just how difficult it can be to either ‘make it’ or for that matter to get the talent you hope for.

Have been very impressed with Sterling almost from the off, think he just looks better with every performance. He rarely gives the ball away and fights to get it back if he does. He is also a unit and hard to push off the ball as well as his general awareness of what’s around him.
In other words…that’s a yes from me. I think this lad could make us an awful lot of money one day.

My mate played a wee bit of Junior back in the day and had a flat in Westbourne Gardens just over the road. He insisted he was still the best footballer in his street… Joos Valgaeren lived next door ???.

Is it a possibility that with this being a crucial and busy time for incoming transfers, also with both Kent and Alfie already on the books, that we concentrate on current business and deal with their extensions once we’re properly up and running?
