My five are
Dowell (never fit and not good enough)
Matondo (no explanation needed)
Diomande (Hasn't kicked on and feel we need to sell soon to try and get some funds in)
Assgard (not at the level we need and for similar reasons as Diomande)
Chermiti (we will take a huge hit on him but if we can loan out it could free up wages to bring another striker in)
That's my first five.

The 5 I would move on are the goalkeepers, defence, midfield, strikers and subs.

5 out are easy: Rice, Dowell, Matondo, Nsiala and Rothwell as they aren't playing and no amount of rosy retrospection makes any of them the right players for us now. on who we bring in I just can never do that; don't know enough about any player out there.

I would move on Dowell, Matondo, Rothwell, Aasgaard and Danilo. Different reasons for each decision but the underlying theme is failure to deliver.
I don't have names to bring in but we need strengthening throughout the spine of the team - some backbone would be a nice change.
One of each of the following please from Santa: centre back; central midfielder; and a goal scorer would be welcome.

You could pick five from the defense alone, never mind the rest of the squad.
Looking at that squad, I'd have to say it's one of the worst I've seen. We're winning nothing with these players.

Some pretty consistent responses.
I'd look to return Djiga and Cornelius and sing 2 solid CB, probably unrealistic but at the level of Popov and Kabak who are out of contract in the summer.
Dowell for an natural 6 with some dig - again wishful thinking but like Martel.
Matondo for a RW, would love to see Cerny back.
Chermiti just to go do we can move on from the deal.

Think we'd really struggle to sign Martel an excellent 6, kabak and popev probably will get better offers but would love both tho kabaks injury history is a worry.

Think you could move on the majority to be honest but that wasn't the quesiton being asked lol.
A bit dissappointing to see that only 6 players out of that list are Scottish. I'd be looking to get back to the transfer business of the past when we bought up the best players from the league that know the league.
I get this doesn't work when competing in Europe but for me our bread and butter should be priority. Guys that are proven in the league.

SamofOrange - agree that the likelihood of getting players like Martel, Popov or Kabak is very slim.
Martel in particular - whomin think will head to the EPL.
But I think we need a base of RCB, LCB and DCM that's real quality to allow us to build from - finding players we can afford, who are of that quality and want to come to Scotland is the challenge though.

Exactly Stevie we spent 10m on Chermiti we could have afforded him if we wanted him. Reality was Thelwell wanted his own guys.
