That’s true storm at the end of the day, they’ll just look at it as Scottish football. And these players have ambitions and maybe just fancy it. Maybe Cordoba will sign, which is great if he turns out to be a good player. But they’ll be a few players that we might be linked with this season that don’t come because they don’t fancy playing in the Scottish game. That’s one of the reasons I think the Lawrence’s and Lunny’s come to us because we good wages and they think things will be easy. No expecting pressure or how hard it will be. Therefore they never had the right attitude to play for us in the first place. That’s why I’m happy for Rangers to cast there net far and wide.
Example Cortes said yesterday he wants to play for Real Madrid one day. To me I like that, because they know that if they don’t stick out in Scottish football then they can wave goodbye to there dreams of playing for Madrid. I’d much rather have ambitious players that use us as a stepping stone. Hopefully we get both money and success from buying these types. Badly needed.

I have said for the last 5 seasons that we need to get rid of Doncaster and his cronies, spfl could be so much more lucrative if we had the rite people in charge, someone with a business mind and not an ex solicitor. He doesn't have the passion for Scottish football and him and his team have made the league worse. Football fans as well (or glory hunters) at 10 of the 12 teams in the league who don't turn up to matches except for finals. Rain hail or snow, every week in the lower tier of Scottish football, our fans turned up. These are the same fans who love it when we lose in a European match, they would rather see Scottish football in the gutter than see us do well and represent our country on the European stage. No wonder players don't want to come to Scotland. The sfa has buggered it up royally and will continue to bugger it up because they don't know what they are doing.
