You need to 'participate' in 25% of games (10 like John said), although you can appeal for a player who suffered injury. You get 25 medals for players and officials, so that too has to be taken into consideration.

the stadium begins to empty around 75-80 mins for reasons of transport, those of us having gone for 60 years understand the difficulties of the road system, around the stadium at full time, and especially the public transport issues, such as subway closing before the final whistle in midweek and the endless disruption on Saturdays, also the connections for people travelling from afar such as ferries, trains etc.

Just my opinion, with no inside info. Something has been festering away for over a year at least.
We had an outside chance of the league at the turn of the year and for whatever reason blew it. Elling a squad of players at that point they were free to move on didn't help. Since then it has been an exodus of players and board members and others.
I don't think it's a takeover ( again my opinion), but I do think we need to brace ourselves for possible downgrading of ambitions, primarily through lack of funds.
Just my opinion mind, hope I'm proved wrong!
