Thijs Dallinga was linked to Rangers according to the media.
Is there any further updates, but maybe we are keeping a low profile or moving on to other transfer targets?

1.) 29 Jun 2022 23:57:57
French club Toulouse are linked with him we will most likely to move on.

2.) 30 Jun 2022 01:57:42
Looks like he is going to France for 2 million. We won’t buy another striker if colak comes unless Alfredo leaves.

3.) 30 Jun 2022 07:00:30
even if and when colak comes and if morelos stays I would still like another strike option
as with injuries showing us we where left a little short
roofe on his day is brilliant
but if two say him n morelos was injured at same time its a big ask too just rely on one option, what if they where having a we bleak spell or dent in confidence, always think a club can never have too much fire power. , look how many games we played last season with Europe n cups rather be top heavy than light goals win games
rather have 2 or three capable strikers on the bench ready too come on rather than rely on Aribo n Kent too step in.

4.) 30 Jun 2022 07:03:56
Surely we need two strikers in? Itten and Defoe need replaced at the very least. Not having enough strikers cost us the Europa League and arguably the League in the season just gone.

5.) 30 Jun 2022 07:07:01
wouldn't like us to place all our eggs in one basket hence colak guys where tired end of last season more like for like or even better than we have deals we can get too help our gers this season will be good as want us too be as competitive and comstable as possible.

6.) 30 Jun 2022 07:38:18
Maybe Weston or mculsanland (probs spelt wrong) any time i have seen the b team he impressed me the most better than Weston the games i seen.

7.) 30 Jun 2022 09:31:53
Defoe played how many games last year But needs replaced.

8.) 30 Jun 2022 10:37:50
Sakala can play through the middle if needed.

9.) 30 Jun 2022 12:08:29
Ibrox at this stage I don’t agree we need two strikers in
We have Morelos, roofe, sakala, and probably Colak,
We mainly play one up top
At the time sakala was brought in to bed in and replace Defoe, his stats per minute second best last season. He will score 20 this season imo.

Advantage is sakala and Roofe do play off wing.

Let’s not forget many want Weston involved, I think better a loan deal see what he does.

10.) 30 Jun 2022 15:34:21
John I would like us to sign two strikers as we all know Roofe is injury prone and Sakala is often deployed on the LW.
Unfortunately we were left short last season with injuries to our strikers, and had no option but to play Aribo upfront.
Probably for an outlay of no more than 4m we could bring in both Dallinga and Colak which is not a lot of money.

11.) 30 Jun 2022 16:20:01
Copland then million pound a year each for wages minimum, we still need to be prudent.
Remember 14/ 2/ 12.

12.) 30 Jun 2022 17:15:14
I am rapidly coming to the view that we bring in as few costly new signings as Gio feels necessary since hopefully by the start of next season we will have a number of our younger players ready for the first team. It is much more important to me that we secure Morelos and Kent if possible on an extended contract. Assuming we sign Colak then much as I would like another striker I am happy to live with what we have but I would like to see us sign a quality right winger. We haven't had a quality player on the right wing for years. I appreciate that Roofe can play on the wing but he is seldom fit and I don't see that changing as he gets older unless GVB has managed to find Davi Kinear's magic sponge, (that is one for the older bears like myself)!
I know that by failing to strengthen last summer we arguably cost ourselves a place in the Champion's League but there is no guarantee that we would have brought in the players that would have made that happen and thanks in the main to Gio's tactics we reached a European Final, (which may well have generated more income) . Our loan acquisitions did not work in January and if I am honest I would avoid any loans this Season unless they are on a loan to buy basis for a top quality player.

John 25

Any updates of transfers in or out.

1.) 13 Jan 2022 14:34:10
Hearing very little, souttar seems done.
All very quite on incoming players.

2.) 13 Jan 2022 14:47:41
That’s the way rangers seam to be these days john25. they release nothing until it’s done and then it’s official. just means the papers don’t get anything as it’s all in house.

3.) 13 Jan 2022 14:47:55
Am I the only one that keeps hearing 1 in 1 out as if we will only sign players if someone leaves? Very risky for me I know it might be easier to attract better standard if we make champions league but we actually need to get there first.

4.) 13 Jan 2022 14:50:25
This a announcement still happening today John?

5.) 13 Jan 2022 14:55:46
John in terms of done do you mean this window or pre contract?

6.) 13 Jan 2022 15:00:40
Very disappointing window we have kept our players so far. Other teams in league have strengthened. We have struggled to score against these teams, our final ball isn't always the best. We are playing lb in ch keeping goldso who can't commit. Season starting back on Tuesday and only the American boy. As a fan I'm disappointed that Gio hasn't put his stamp on the team.

7.) 13 Jan 2022 15:08:52
Thanks John 👍.

8.) 13 Jan 2022 15:10:36
John, done as in deals sealed or done as in not happening?

9.) 13 Jan 2022 16:04:45
Gs done as in coming to rangers, don’t know when yet.

Another bear my source says it was return of itten.

We r supposed to working on another incoming apart from Souter,

10.) 13 Jan 2022 16:34:28
Hopefully it's doekhi, if we don't sign him shortly some other team will, atalanta now also interested in him.

11.) 13 Jan 2022 16:48:42
Ah that would have been yesterday then.

12.) 13 Jan 2022 16:59:32
Yes another I will have a word with him on golf course tomorrow.

13.) 13 Jan 2022 17:26:01
john what's your handicap at golf mate and don't say your clubs, i am off 8 myself, just curious as you mentioned golf.

14.) 13 Jan 2022 17:51:08
No much of a golfer but you sound like you have a nice life John.

15.) 13 Jan 2022 17:59:51
12 true blue.

16.) 13 Jan 2022 18:18:12
Who's GS John 25?

17.) 13 Jan 2022 18:35:37
Mols the poster I was replying to. GS.

18.) 13 Jan 2022 18:45:23
I thought there was going to be a foreign player announced today?

19.) 13 Jan 2022 19:12:52
2blue I did say that, but my source said it was itten yesterday.

20.) 13 Jan 2022 19:24:03
Still hoping that we will sign Souttar and Doehki this window, it would also be nice if we could sign a right winger, i'm pretty sure that GVB has players he would like to sign.
In terms of outgoings, if we could generate some money for him and get him off our wage bill then I would be delighted to see Lundstrum go to Middlesborough along with Simpson!
Not overly impressed with Itten coming back, I just don't see him being suited to Scottish Football, (he is too easily knocked off the ball and is outmuscled by Scottish Defenders. I would rather have had £3m for him but let's hope that GVB can improve him!

21.) 13 Jan 2022 20:32:34
John25 I'm affraid you'll get hefty stick for that one . itten . I'm actually ok with him being back rest of dressing room love him apparently. Hope you give your source a kick wtf itten Thursday announcement really😭 way to get our hopes up. I fear more and more it's a one in one out no spending until champions league confirmed and might cost us dear. As we could loose someone at end of window and board give us the old too late to replace nonsense.

22.) 13 Jan 2022 20:54:49
Go for I gave my source serious grief,
Also don’t know what u fear, Gio said we would not leave window worse off.
I trust our board, look how they rescued club and put up millions off their money.
We won’t sell late unless it suits us.

23.) 13 Jan 2022 21:05:38
Absolutely John, I trust the board and believe gio when he says we won’t be worse off.

24.) 13 Jan 2022 21:06:07
Disappointed that Itten is our new player, based on previous performances he was not good enough will be surprised if that has changed. Think we will only sign new players if others are sold. Money is clearly not there.

25.) 14 Jan 2022 05:50:29
I'm tending not to agree with the fact it is a disappointing window as yet as
1.Still half the month to do business anyway
2.We have brought some defensive cover in (James Sands)
3.Under the transition of a new manager we have yet to concede a goal with a left back at centre back
4.Signed Leon King to a new deal
5.We have players returning from layoffs etc Helander, Balogun
I get other teams are maki g signings around us but we need to focus on us and trust Gio will put the right pieces together when possible as the product on the pitch lately has been first class.

26.) 14 Jan 2022 07:00:29
I agree DavePage.

27.) 14 Jan 2022 11:24:30
Honestly lads! It’s the 14th and folk are miserable already! Crap window? We are not even half way through! Jan is NOT the time for quality or volume, it’s always a risk and if we are being thorough and diligent then that’s f@*king brilliant! Not sh! te!

We’ve brought back Itten., like him or not it’s promising that Gio wants to see him first hand. I don’t see a poor player I see a possibly good one who didn’t get a fair chance! Could feel like a new signing, I also think quite a few have forgotten just how important some of his goals were!

I LOVE how Wilson goes about his business. All under the radar.
Celtic don’t have a network! They have a manager finding players from his old haunts! I would not be impressed with that in any way shape or form! Ack of a fag packet stings to mind!

GET A GRIP! Rant over, have a great weekend. 😆.

11 Sep 2021 11:04:38
Rangers are monitoring Ciaron Brown according to the media.
Currently at Cardiff City and was on loan at Livingston.

28 Dec 2014 21:19:07
Rangers looking to bring two youth players from Newcastle.
Defender Ryan McKinnon. and striker Adam Campbell.

1.) Who is bringing them in?

29 Jan 2014 09:43:43
Rangers have rejected a bid for Lee Wallace

1.) I think Rangers need to be hanging out for 1. 5-2 million £ for him to recoup and make a little profit, I think Hughes and another academy player is plenty cover, good player I agree but let's cash in ad build for the future.

2.) Who is Hughes? And I think that we should hold onto Wallace until the end of the season and sell him then

3.) How can you say sell Wallace for 1. 5 to 2 mill then build for the future he is our best player by a mile most of the rest won't make it in the top league bar te ones who came in this year and maybe one or two of the boys we should be keeping him atb all costs

4.) 29 Jan 2014 17:37:14
I agree we should be holding in to Wallace for when we return to the spl, that type of player will cost rangers a fortune to replace, get rid of all the deadwood for free if possible. watp

{Ed039's Note - forests initial bid was £900,000, rangers holding out for £1.4m plus add ons, Forest have moved onto another target from what I have been told)

5.) 29 Jan 2014 20:50:00
Lee wallace dosent want to leave Rangers but is getting more nd more annoyed and Angry n hurt that Gers are welcoming a second bid coming in, he has made it clear to ally and board he dosent want to leave but now feels he may be getting pushed out the door and would now consider a move if it was right for him and his family, very reliable source, can only say a family member no more

6.) 30 Jan 2014 07:12:06
Why are we entertaining bids lower than the fee we paid for Wallace?

Today's Daily Rebel quotes "Celtic's £10m winger Forrest"! Come on! Seriously?

I'd rather have Lee Wallace than Forrest any day!

Selling the family silver to pay the leccy bill!

7.) I still think he will be forced out the door if a player is not for sale you say just that if he might be for sale you say the same and pray for a crazy offer but if your desperate you just name your price (1.4 mill) as has been stated very black day for us we bought him for 1.5 mill he is in his prime and our best player by a mile in fact he is in my opinion our best left back in years his runs into the box are superb we must be in one hell of a state how do we ever replace him and at what price a very down rangers fan

8.) Celtic fan here! Rumours gathering pace now celtic at a DELICATE position within talks over a transfer! Rumour has it its Wallace! We looking for a left back? Could the delicate be this is the case?tried to post yesterday as I think rangers should hold onto him for the spl as the money to replace him will be more than received!

9.) Rangers should hang onto Wallace at all costs selling him would be stupid plus think a lot of us might think twice about our season tickets
rangers should have kept their business behind closed doors then we wouldn't be getting other teams taking the mickey with under priced offers

10.) @delbhoy If Rangers sold Wallace to Celtic I for one would never step foot in Ibrox again its bad enough that we are in a position where we have to sell our best player in order to try and keep afloat but to sell him to our biggest rivals would be unforgivable putting all that aside I really don't think wild horses would drag Wallace to parkhead from ibrox

11.) Nbear and you actually think delbhoy 1888 is too intelligent for some of us surely that post proves you wrong!

12.) @ nbear thanks for the support! To all others! A few now have crossed the divide! Some back and forth twice! I rate Wallace and when rangers dangle their only carrot then it's open game for every team. I would rather Wallace in my team than izzy! Young, Scottish, tried and tested! Did you stop going to Ibrox after miller played for Celtic then came back to rangers? Think not! You support your team through thick and thin! Those comments alone is why nbear said I'm too intelligent! I suppose you want to spend more money than you have again and drive your club even lower? Please be real with answers not bitter!

13.) @ lochaberbear the boy, whom I am sure would like to stay, seems to be getting put in a shop window with a price tag. He seems the only profitable or sellable option. I mearly stated a rumour I had heard, and gave an honest opinion. But like you said, he may choose not to. Switch! Unlike some narrow minded I value your opinion. After all that's what these sites are about! But in my opinion whatever Wallace is sold for, it will cost ten fold to replace him.

14.) Lee Wallace has been hanging about lennoxtown this morning waiting for the gates to open.
He was spotted getting out of a yellow Robin reliant, his agent Delbhoy 1888, only comment was this time next year the lad will be a millionaire.

15.) @ Bluebeard! Lmao that made me laugh! Nice to see a bit of humour for a change instead of all the doom and gloom that has surrounded rangers and Scottish football for a while now! A rate the boy and think its sad that a price tag was put round his neck! I do hope he stays as he is a good player and it will be a miss to Scottish football if a mediocre championship team steals him for pennies! Also nice to see some transfer rumours on here today! Used to be good flipping from our page to yours to see who is coming and going! All the excitement has gone! No more suttons hartsons laudrup or gazza's! Hope you lot get back soon! Miss the banter!

16.) Del I've scoured every post of mine I can find and cannot find a single one that can be described as "BITTER" perhaps i'd be better laughing at you like bluebeard but I chose to tell you straight. What does rumours are gathering pace mean? And do YOU even believe Wallace will sign for you?Who was the last player to transfer directly from Us to you or vice versa? If you go on any site posting nonsense you should be told not humoured and certainly not called "Too intelligent".

17.) @jyf lmao once again at your posts! Once again you jump in feet first without reading properly or having the ability to understand! You should engage your brain before typing! Firstly you proved your lack of intellegence by automatically assuming that when I said bitter I meant you? Obviously hit a sore note there! But if the cap fits? Secondly I never claimed the boy would want to sign for us! I mearly stated that I rate him as a left back and would not mind if he signed for us, any addition that is better than what we have is welcome and I see Wallace as better than izzy! As previously stated. Once again you have let your side down with narrow mindedness!

18.) Del now you've laughed your arse off does that mean you'll have to stop talking sh**e.

Do you think Rangers should try and bring James McAtee in on loan from Man City?
Left sided midfielder and good goal scoring and assists in PL2.

1.) 13 Jun 2022 21:00:53
He's highly rated a terrific young midfielder ?We were linked strongly with young james mcAtee in january, but obviously nothing came of it ?.

2.) 13 Jun 2022 21:58:18
Copland only if we can’t get Palmer.

3.) 13 Jun 2022 22:01:51
Reports saying championship in England most likely for him.

09 Jun 2022 14:49:42
Robby McCrorie is set to join up with the Scotland squad for the forthcoming games against Ireland and Armenia.

1.) 09 Jun 2022 16:38:39
Good news for a player many say not good enough for us.
Kind of strange McLaughlin not involved.

2.) 09 Jun 2022 17:33:25
I don’t mccrorie I think we should sell him for minimal fee with a large sell on clause. Don’t rate him thought he was very poor at livi.

3.) 09 Jun 2022 17:44:15
John I like the kid when he came in for those 2 games he never put a foot wrong and I would have no problem with him getting his chance more.

4.) 09 Jun 2022 17:53:11
I think mcrorie better than mcglaughlan.

5.) 09 Jun 2022 20:56:57
McCrorie unproven at a high level so those who either rate him highly or not must have a crystal ball.

He’s done well and looks to have potential but if the professionals (the ones who don’t post on here) rated him so highly, he’d be guaranteed at least #2 next season.

All about opinions and I’ll wait to see if and when he gets his chance before forming mine.

6.) 09 Jun 2022 22:09:43
What are the flaws in Mclaughlin's game, I think he's a very good Goalie, just my opinion.

13 Mar 2022 21:22:24
Do we ever see Rangers TV broadcasting live games to subscribers in the UK?

1.) 13 Mar 2022 21:29:52
Yes quite often this season RTV have broadcast home games live both inside Scotland and England in addition to worldwide.

2.) 13 Mar 2022 21:37:16
Only on very rare occasions are games available to Uk subscribers because Sky, BT, Premier sports etc usually have the broadcasting rights for the UK.

3.) 14 Mar 2022 11:56:13
Nope as sky and premier sports etc…. Have the rights.

4.) 14 Mar 2022 12:00:30
I never use Hesgoal, as McAfee my Computer Protection Contractor, blocks it as unsafe, I did override the information once, and got hacked, I know a lot of you guys use Hesgoal, I'd be wary, it's up to you though to do what you see fit.

15 Jan 2022 19:37:37
Viktor Claesson would be an option on a pre contract.
Capped 56 times for Sweden and currently playing for Krasnodar.
Rumoured via the media.

1.) 15 Jan 2022 20:38:16
He’s got a decent goals to game ratio for a winger.

2.) 16 Jan 2022 18:27:58
Also available on a free transfer win win.

Kelly has yet to be given game time at Rangers or be included in any first team squads.
He impressed when out on loan at both Ayr United and Ross County and he would do a job for most teams in the SPL.
He looks a a tenacious wee midfielder and comfortable on the ball so hopefully GVB gives him a chance.

SWS - you have pinpointed our transfer strategy as we are unable to move forward until there is an update on Kent, Morelos, and Aribo.
Hopefully we can get some clarification soon.

Agree John I said it in one of my posts IF COLAK signs he will be a replacement for Itten in my opinion.
Morelos is our no 1 striker and hopefully he extends his contract.

Bottom line is we can’t sell Morelos, Kent and Aribo
and have a team capable of competing both in Europe and domestically.
If Aribo is sold we have Hagi ( if fit ), and Lowry but Morelos and Kent would be very difficult to replace in terms of goals scored and assists.
Wilson and GVB will hopefully make the right calls in the current transfer window, but the future of the 3 players need to be sorted asap.

Plenty of time and no point in signing players to sit on the bench.
Depends who leaves if any, as this will determine who we sign in the current transfer window.
It’s good if we manage to keep the nucleus of our current squad and sign another striker, RW, and maybe a LCB.
What we need to take into account we also have 3 academy players breaking through into the first team squad Lowry, McCann, and King who will be given game time but need to be managed carefully.
I am positive that GVB and Ross Wilson will have a squad that will challenge both domestically and in Europe.

How is sunny Spain John?
I was wondering the same about Dallinga as it’s all very quiet in the media about him being a player we are interested in.
All the talk at the moment is Colak from PAOK.

King and Wilson formed a prolific partnership at AFC Bournemouth.
King would do well in the SPL but his wages would be out with our wage structure.
Probably see him going to a team like Nottingham Forest.

Hopefully Colak is a replacement for Itten and Morelos signs a new contract.
