I wanted to start a afresh on the post i created regarding player wages, and what a very reliable posted posted.
If that's the case EHL, and we split the difference to 6.5m, then that equates to 125k pw in loan player fees alone without factoring in how much of their wage we are covering. That is astonishing!
The reality is, we could be adding minimum 20-30k pw in wages on top of the 125k loan fees, for players who have contributed best case very little, or worst case, nothing.
Where do you even start with this? And by the way. My figures are probably on the Conservative end of the scale, and it could very well be worse.
Is there anyone on here thinking we got value for money? Is anyone saying that we couldn't have bought 2 or 3 2m plus players, on less wages, who could have contributed more? Or signed better quality free agents and used this 6-7m as signing on fees and wages?!
Add these figures to the money we have peed up the wall on the dug meat we actually purchased, and it is worse than grim.
Some will spin this to try and deflect what this really is, but there is no case for the defence. This is one seismic calamity of financial mismanagement. Our club is an omni shambles!

SS, the number I was given from a frustrated member of the recruitment team is that we've spent around £12m on the defence.
Meghoma, £1m fee, £1m wages
Aarons, £1.5m fee, £1.5m wages
Djiga, £1m fee, £1m wages
Cornelius, £1m fee, £0.8m wages
Fernandez, £2m fee, £0.8m wages.

SS, there is no defence for it in any way shape or form. This summer was a massive set back for our club and will take us many windows to set it right. I was listening to a Peterborough fan last night state that Fernandez wasn't even a regular for them and was almost relegated into league 2, he then went on to state that he is baffled how they got so much money for him and that whoever sanctioned the deal should be investigated for money laundering.
So if we are paying that price for him it scares me what the rest of the mess actually is, now I imagine that Thelwell never had to run any signings past the new owners as they probably trusted Stewart to run the club in a correct manner. This must mean that after looking into our summer business the new owners were left gobsmacked at how bad our recruitment has been.

We have been mismanaged for years. Just look at the money Beale, Clement and Koppen wasted as well.

It is obvious that Martin and Co were used to the inflated English market and when compared to clement and koppen, they had no lack of development skill and reach. If you have an issue, throw cash at it. So we have now went backwards again. The 49"s had a big part to play in this. Under Danny I think it will get better but, we really need to change this quickly. TBH we need to take a hit and reduce the squad.
Tav does not get another contract, same as soapy. Loans sent back and a big hit on the 8m striker. He will not come good. Curtis, Cameron can cover SPL. No Europe next year is the reality if we don't act so forget Europe this year. Quality over quantity for the next 5 months hopefully allows us to build on top come the summer. No need to start all again. Sounds easy I know.

Fernandez had a good game v Everton and Thelwell thought he was great so asked his good pal Barry Fry to do him a favour and prob gave him a bung, yes Peterborough fans think the deal is hilarious and glad to see the back of him.
