Starting to get a bit petty in here again, bickering over old arguments, keeping things going, time to move on, Lmac is 100% correct "nothing wrong with robust debate" also Star " once its done, move on".
Time to stop reverting to auld grievances.
Bullying? Ed wouldn't allow that, but some persistent posters can keep plugging away at old sores and this inflames others, cue a pile on.
Rumours, can be challenged in a respected way, no need for anyone to be disparaging either way, poster or responder.
Hoth cloudfire alludes to gd posters walking away or not posting due to tension on here, these guys are the lifeblood of the site. They promote debate.
Let's take a breath and be respectful to each other, it's not hard, we can ill afford to lose valued posters by being overly critical to the point people walk away.
I've left a few times for my own reasons, others have too, but, there's always a but, this is a place that u always want to come back to, let's just do what we love, support our team and each other.
I received great support and advice from guys I don't even know, there's a capacity for gd in here, let's use that so we can move forward.

Fork, i'm two minds on this, in a perfect world yes we are all respectful and hear each another. We move on when the debate is done. We never take offence and repsect everyones opinions, agree that's how it might be in another universe lol.
Ive come to the conclusion in the last few years that unless we break the law any post goes regardless of feelings or opinions it really is a simple as that, if you can't put up with that then just don't post, read or come on.
Edds do a great job on policing the site imo.
If you find yourself getting angry or upset at a reply or post its just your ego talking to you.
If you sulk and don't post for a while, fine again its your choice.
Anyone on here, never change, post what you want without fear of offence its what western democracy was built on.
But I get what your say Fork we can all live in hope.

Totally agree, I get all my news on potential signings etc, from this site and it's really repugnant when recently I find a reliable poster basically being called a liar over something he has heard or been witness to, by all means disagree with peoples opinion but if you are going to stoop that low you have no place on here.

Well said Fork. TJBB can see your point up to a point. Doesn't need to be an ideal world tho. It's not that hard to not send abuse or be offensive to complete strangers. And to keep in mind we all have a part in making it a safe place to share views and debates.
In general think there's the right balance of genuine insight and info, as well as strong debate, along with good humour and banter.
As well as times when genuine support is offered when needed. Just can go a bit too far at times and need to pull it back. Like Angus and Asa both said perhaps just need to be more picky which posts to join. If don't like it scroll on.

Can't think that I feel there's anything that "should be posted" esp if you think it might hurt feelings. Nothing here is actually that important, unless your meaning speaking out in defence when others go over the line, and even then as u say leave it to the Eds.
Better still make the Eds jobs easier if we don't push it to see how far we can push them and stick to sensible debate instead.

Correct fork, I've had wee in jest digs at a couple before but it was meant as good banter, but that doesn't always translate in writing, guys like yourself bigdado storm Florida etc kept me going during my concerning periods shall we say and gave me the laugh I needed at times, so hopefully folks can see the good in this all and even if we can't all get along can we at least learn to scroll on by and say nothing if we can't always agree?

I kinda agree with TJBB, sometimes people get precious on a rumours site for people disagreeing and other times the usual suspects just want to pick holes in others comments thinking that makes them look clever. In general i'd say the majority of stuff on here is good natured.

If we had a good team and winning every week the bickering would end and not noticed to be fair, seen a glimmer of hope over last two games to see we are creating chances so let's hope our moods and attitude on this site will be on the upturn as well.

the issue is usually when someone takes offence at another guys refs to a player or players, like they must put that player down because of who posted it
i read many players mentioned by posters on here, not one offends or even bothers me, but some people feel a great need to object to someone elses view, i like seeing other clubs players mentioned and i like the debate on the merits of that player, i never sneer or send silly emojis at someone else choice or fancy
its great to hear what players we would like to see.
