A few of my mates are starting to question DR on some of his selections and style of play. Sure he can only play the deck he has been given but is it too much to expect a team that is desperate to win and that gives 90 mins of total effort.
Dundee United will give everything they have to beat us as usual if DR can't get a team on the park with energy and fight we are bang in trouble tonight.

He's learning about his squad. We've lived and breathed or for the last few years. Cavanagh is also learning what the club is about. I think they are both good guys but they lack knowledge of Rangers at this time.

Imo it's silly to question Röhl right now, purely because he can only work with what he's got, fixing Stewart/Thelwell/Martin screwups is going to take at least a couple of windows.

Rohl is only starting to find out about our players, I really see us fighting all over the park tonight, but doing after that performance on Sunday is not good enough if they don't work like that in every game, I know some are saying players are not good enough for Rangers but we do have a better quality of player than the rest, but having better quality in every position means nothing without the work rate alongside it.

BT let's say you are in charge of a bar. Your the bar manager, you have an assistant and a supervisor and 12 staff.
Let's say 11 of the staff are garbage and know they are and 1 is decent. The 11 don't give a crap about the bar as they don't see this as their final destination and it's just a stop gap for them. The other 1 is just naturally a hard worker. You can't sack all 11 and replace them for a few months because you're going into the festive period and head office have said you can't hire until the new year. You know it's going to be a mess but you can only urinate with the piece god gave you.
Tell me how you motivate this staff of yours and improve their output. Explain how you get a group of useless staff who couldn't care less to buy in and improve dramatically in a month or so.
At the end of the day our fans are fed up and angry. They need someone to aim at. Martin went so Thelwell and Stewart took centre stage. Now they've gone and the mantle is empty. Some choose Aasgaard, some choose Antman, some choose Djiga, some choose Tav or Raskin or Chermiti and some are choosing Danny Rohl.

You have to be honest and our style of football is awful but Danny said he needed wins and a style would follow he's made us more difficult to score against as we've conceded 2 goals in his 5 league games and teams are no longer having lots of efforts on our goal under martin we were conceding loads of shots on our goal.
Give him time and the chance to get his own players in and then judge him.

Must admit playing Antman and Aasgaard in same starting lineup screamed madness to me both underperforming.
He may have a poor hand but can still be judged when makes strange selections especially when he knows they have not been delivering.
He still has my support although i'd be careful not to let him spend to much in January as it could be another beale situation where you giving an inexperienced manager the most funds. He should have to build up his control of team i'd say two signings from him and two from club sources see whos work out better.

Mystar I would argue the majority of our players aren't better quality than the rest of the league anymore. Half our team is from league one the same as where most players who come to SPL come from. Only difference is we pay more for them. Most are average SPL standard. Barron our best cm at the moment is from Aberdeen along with Miovski.
Fans are crying out for an ex Dundee player and an academy player to start. Chermiti isn't better than any others so far. Djiga is one of the worst CBs I've ever seen. Apart from probably Raskin on his day I don't think we have many players better than any of the other top 5 teams. Rohl has been given by far the worst group since our return to work with.

He's obviously came in and first and foremost tried to stop us shipping so many stupid goals, which imo he's achieved. He needs more time and quality to fix our mf and forward positions.
I agree there's a lack of effort at times but lbh it's so much more to do with quality of our players.
There's usually 2 maybe 3 players that become fan favourites over the course of a season, can anyone honestly say we have that so far? No we don't. I still think our fitness levels are nowhere near the way Gerrard had us.

Ayrshire excellent analogy but add in that every customer to your bar thinks they know how to run a bar better than you because they have drunk in one for 20 years. They think that the staff you pair together doesn't work and that you put them in the wrong roles at the bar.
Rohl has positions where the options are limited. he has concentrated on making us difficult to beat as that brings the quickest results. he has 1 day at most on training pitch between games to work with the players he has so the attacking process will be longer; hence Raskin's comments about being told to go on pitch and play with more freedom. Issue is that Martin removed every piece of confidence our young players had. It will take time for him to get the team playing the way he wants. if we continue to take 13 out of 15 points in the next 5 games then he is right we will not be too far away.

Rhol is not blameless no matter what he has available.
If you keep picking same under performing players why would you expect thing to improve.

everyone is under performing. you wouldn't get more than 4 players on the park if you based it on previous recent performances.

The fulls quad is underperforming Jasp. He has used 22 players since he came in. So I don't know what you expect him to do.

Storm that's the point folk seem to ignore. The main issue is folk think Curtis and Cameron come into this squad and all problems go away. He's played every player available to him bar those 2, Nsiala, Kelly and 3 long term injuries. So who out of them turn our fortunes around.
Dio and Raskin have been poor at best
Tav is still our most creative player and his legs have gone, he's also our top scorer in the league.
Souttar and Djiga are considered bomb scares, as was Nsiala last season.
Antman and Aasgaard look lost
Gassama fell off
Miovski and Chermiti never hit the ground running
Danilo was 3rd choice for the previous 2 seasons.
Meghoma has never played this much in his career or for a club this size.
Aarons is a negative safe player
Bajrami was a player everyone wanted rid of last year.
So what's he's he selecting to fix it?

We always preview games saying that the opposition whoever they are will be right up for it, implying that will make up for lesser ability, so why can't our players get right up for it as well so that it comes down to who has the better players ?
