Don't much about him but we need experienced players not youngsters at the moment. The possibility of him playing for Scotland isn't much of a recommendation, Souttar and, Hanley are Scotlands current centre backs with other superstars like Hendry and Porteous recent centre back starters. Unless he's out of contract soon there is little chance of him leaving Aberdeen for Rangers.

If we buy these young players especially from other clubs in Scotland we need to play them.
Just need to look at the current situation with Lyle Cameron who was an outstanding young player at Dundee and has rarely featured in the first team at Rangers.

John 2575, I didn't say we shouldn't sign him, that type of deal shouldn't be a priority whether he is Scottish or not unless it is a pre contract free like Barron or Cameron. Aberdeen would be looking for big money if he's that good especially from us and we need to spend on experienced players. I don't care where they come from as long as they are ready and able to make an impact.
For the record I would have signed Doig but I would never have signed Ferguson on his Aberdeen form.
Just because the foreigners we have signed recently aren't great doesn't mean there is something wrong with signing them, in fact a lot of our greatest players have been foreigners.

I'd like to see more home grown players being brought in so would welcome Milne. If we are to send back loaned players in Jan then I think he would get game time. However, I do agree that Aberdeen will want a few £M for him, that shouldn't stop us as look what we paid for Manny.
If it was an option to get 2 CBs then the other would be an experienced player. Got to remember that Souttar, although currently injured, is also OOC at the end of the season so could end up being sold for a min fee to leave early in Jan which I would as he hasn't played well at all this season.

I'd be looking to pay yhe £2m mark with a 20% sell on fee then lads just by listening to what u are all saying.
Can add a 500k achievable add ins or a flat £2m with another £3m in add ins and no sell on fee.

I think you are far of the mark John I think he's contracted till 2029 the sheep will want north of £4million if we go in for him easily.
