As expected Djiga has been called up to the Burkina Faso squad for AFCON.
The first game he will miss will be against Hearts on the 21st December and he will be away for a minimum of 4 weeks potentially longer.
Fully expect Diomande to be called up to the Ivory Coast squad also.

Don't think that's a bad thing. Then cancel his loan and send him back to wolves. Hope Souttar is back soon or maybe Sterling will be back or Nsiala.

Sterling or Tav will need to slot in, not overly concerned with either going it's more to do with injuries to other players.

it reduces though our number of available CBs (and FBs) in the squad especially if Souttar isn't back or we get more injuries. also we can only cancel loan if there is a clause in the agreement which says we can.
Personally although he makes mistakes I don't think he is as bad as is made out but I know I will be the only one ?.

He has made a number of mistakes and at times looks like his hearts not in it but right now he is still the best we have. Knew it was coming but we will miss him when he is unavailable.

A centre back and a full back even a pair must surely be top of the list in January. Hopefully we have targets and they come in early and strengthen our squad for the second half of the season.

Souttar due back at the end of December and then the window opens. Sterling will need to step up until then which may be no bad thing.

Angus his positional sense for a centre half is poor, he has threw Fernandez under the bus as well on a few occasions, the big gaps that appear like Saturday when Anderson should have scored, Brugge game at Ibrox etc.
Not a great player I'm afraid.

When will Souttar be back then? Cornelius is longer term right? I love Dujon, he has that graft in him and is super versatile. A lack of CBs is a worry tho, that lack of consistency is hard for the back line, they need regular minutes together to build partnerships.
Would you trust Tav to step into CB and have Aarons RB if Dujon isn't ready?

Manager said he would be back on grass end December, can't see him getting thrown straight into old firm game, last thing he wants is another muscle tear, and another two months out.
