David, Cantwell isn't a dud, he is one of our better players; the problem with him is that he is inconsistent and not the most intelligent! He has always had the potential to be a top quality player but seems to have his demons! i'd rather see the Saudi contingent pay us big bucks for guys like Davies, Goldson, Tav., etc.

Comparing Cantwell's dribbling to Matondo's to try and make the point that Cantwell can dribble is at best, wild. Cantwell can't dribble and neither can Matondo. Both should be sold asap. Cantwell and few fans that can't see the woods for the trees are the only one's to believe his hype. Clement has lost patience aswell, that's very clear.

Cantwell has had more yellow cards than goals for us and has won 1 trophy out of 6 in his time here. Call me a clown all you want but he’s more of a hindrance than a benefit and I’ll be happy to see the back of him.

When Cantwell arrived i thought great signing, loads of ability and definitely an upgrade to our midfield. TBF to everyone, he hasn't done enough and personally, if the Saudi's want him, he'll be gone in a heartbeat. The money, sunshine and lack of pressure will suit him and give Clement 1 less problem to deal with.

Cantwell isn’t a bad player, he’s just not the world beater he thinks he is. He’s also a confidence player, when things go against him he does show the desire to win he just shuts off.
I wouldn’t call you a clown Davie but I do disagree that he’s a dud. I think TT sums him up well.

Don’t know where that figure has come from but it’s definitely nonsense and just goes to show how little these online sites, football insider, Rangers News etc actually know (it’s zero by the way in case you were wondering). Nobody is even interested in Tavernier and Goldson. This story linking them to Gerrard’s team is nonsense. Gerrard is team cannot sign anymore foreign players (although they are currently fighting to change that rule in Saudi) . Even so, Gerrard’s club is not one of the super rich clubs. Buying Goldson and Tavernier for the rumoured £8m-£10m would constitute most of his teams summer transfer budget.
There is every chance Rangers start next season with Tavernier and Goldson still here. Goldson is on so much money we are going to find it very difficult to convince him to leave.

One of the things that impressed me with Devine playing on the wrong side was that he was prepared to go wide, not just cut back on his right foot . He put in some decent balls though maybe not to Barisics standard . I hope the boy has been putting in some real practice on his left foot because being able to play both sides would be a big asset.

Anyone know how Hagi dint get an assist last night? Strange how a player that was never good enlugh last season (when seen as surplus due to cost of him) is now quite important part of the team. I'm still convinced he's better in the middle.
Nsiala is at a good enough level for us to be playing him 15-20 games a season IMO. He's the level of talent that we should be looking to give game time on those home games, cup games or down the league away games. Rather than chuck in for every game due to injuries.
Last night Raskin and Diomande looked tired from the outset. Shame we never got the second or Barron would surely have been on.
Rather than who comes in, who do we feel needs to play Sunday to keep the structure in the team?

Last season the team was booed after a win at Ibrox because the football was said to be 'not entertaining enough'.
This season Rangers are sitting 3rd, joint 4th with Dundee United yesterday, and we are playing horrible stuff. But a win is a win now.

teddyblue, Clement is on 2.5M a year until 2028 so him alone the compensation would be around 9M. No idea what his backroom staff are on but I assume they are all contracted to 2028 as well so won't be cheap. 15M does sound a bit steep but not impossible.
A bit of chat about gardening leave but that depends on the contract! Managers, or more specifically their agents aren't stupid and may have closed that loophole with a simple clause that says removal from the managers job amounts to dismissal. You have to wonder what was put in that extension!
One thing for sure is that sacking the manager now will be expensive but numbers are anyone's guess.

We are stuck with all these players until January but is is obviously not working especially in an attacking sense, so the only argument for keeping Clement is if he throws out the current system and tries something different.
4-3-3 has won the title for the last 4 seasons in Scotland or of not why not go 3 at the back and wing backs to give us width and allow us to play two strikers .
We have attacking full back options on both sides who would suit playing this way and the likes of Kasanwirjo or Sterling can be used in the back three to add pace and ability to go out wider to cover. We`re stuck with Dessers but give him a partner maybe we could forge a pair of strikers to share the goals. The midfield 3 could vary depending on the opposition but it might get more out of Diomande or even Dowell. We need to try something different.

As much as I agree that we should keep PC, my main reason is because I’m tired of changing managers every year and changing nothing else. Any fan wanting rid of PC after Dundee is allowed that view and looking at Dundee for reasoning, we barely looked like scoring. Yes we’re not anywhere near where some of the fans think we are but we’re head, shoulders and a few ladders ahead of Dundee. No excuse, we should have been battering their goal and left without 3 points due to serious luck on their side.

He’s delivering the message that the board delivered when they offered him a new deal, we’re expecting to suffer this season. Fans seem shocked, pundits paid to act shocked but they knew what was happening, that’s all before this injury debacle.
Looking at the game last night and hibs game. Clearly not many get what we’d call pass marks but for me the two full backs have been the worse two in the team in both games.
I get Ridvan is out of position and Jefte prob very tired and still young but they’ve been pivotal in our inability to build from the back. Maybe my expectations are two high on a lb new to the league and another who’s been injured a lot and is filling in for the three missing rb.

We conceded 3 goals today, hardly a surprise with the lack of defenders. Can’t blame the attacking side of the team for that.

Can’t possibly be taking plaudits for saying we shouldn’t sign Balogun. King is on the training field and hasn’t had a sniff, that and the people in the know on here tells you where we are with defensive talent coming through.
To say they deserved to win, for me, is too much influence from TV commentary. They countered but had one attempt in first half of any meaning and that was a gifted penalty.
We were poor but had enough chances in the second half to win it, defending outstandingly bad.
