Just watched the 3 2 Celtic game from last season and its noticeable how further up the pitch has deteriorated. Cerny iga Dessers we had at the end of thst game compared to chermito miovsky and Gassama. Wow just wow.

I wonder when looking at affordable options if a player like Maswanhise would be an option? Or a player similar. Pace to burn, often looks a direct player who seems adept as a winger or even in a striker role.

The defence is main issue, get rid of loans and bring in at least LB and CB in jan, another two starters up top could give us a chance but if we crumble the next 7 league games it won't matter what we do as season will be away from us.

You mean who SOME fans thought wasn't good enough. Fed up with this tarring everyone with same brush. Most fans I know wanted to keep dessers. This myth that majority wanted him out is exactly that. A myth.

We are only 2 goals away from lowest goals conceded in the league this season, so it is not just defence hurting us, failure to score enough is also a problem. I think 2 or 3 quality players in the right positions will improve us considerably.

Overall, were struggling because we don't score enough goals. The defense is fairly poor, but it has been for years. I'm not sure Cerny or even Dessers wanted to stay, and i'm sure Iga didn't.
The only way we'd have kept them would have been not chasing Clement and Koppen out the door when working under unbelievable circumstances.
But that's done now, I like Rohl and trust him to move us forward. Celtic are in free fall so we're after Hearts.

Igamane worked his move and we got a decent fee, Dessers I was told was looking for a move also and Cerny was a loan that was always unlikely to be permanent,

The thingbis Angus, on a forum, it is very rare a person will start a post with praising a player as generally a post is created because something is annoying someone. So the majority of original posts about Dessers on here would have been wanting him gone, or complaining about him, but then posters would argue against that.
Problem is people only remember the original post instead of the numerous fans backing the big man.

OT and Storm I agree it wasn't all fans and remember that there was a lot of support (myself included especially for Dessers; I shouldn't have said 'the' which makes it appear more a generalisation. but you get the point re some now looking back with rosy reflection at them. and even more so with every ex-player who they moaned about at the time.
Our front 3 last year all created a lot of chances for themselves which papered over the cracks of our lack of creativity. we haven't really solved that issue and our current 3 don't create as many chances for themselves, Gassama being perhaps partly the exception but then he is counted as being greedy. they can't win and we need our creative players to do more and change our midfield set up perhaps to get a creative number 6 in there.

Gassama is lazy and his attitude is stinking that's just my own opinion of him. He can be good but let's be honest we have only seen glimpses of that for a month or two at the start.
We need a creative 10 not a 6 we need a ball winner in at 6 that can keep us ticking over and increasing the tempo when needed.
We need our wingers to be creative and we need the full team bar Butland to be getting amongst the goals and our defence to be solid. If we get that we win the league not much to ask for.
