Ger88 you will never find that cb, certainly not for the money we could afford, big struggle finding one of them for any amount mate, maybe defend well but mistakes will always happen, just the same as world class cf's will miss sitters.

We have 2 experienced ch out injured they don't make us much better in defence. We still make those silly mistakes.

Correct mystar, experience doesn't necessarily translate to concentration but finding a player that doesn't switch off and can do the basics of defending correctly surely can't be that hard to find? We'll see what Santa brings us ?.

Doesn't necessarily need to be an experienced CH but it needs to be a dominant one that just deals with situations and takes charge.

Fabian Scharr is out of contract in the summer. He's 33 granted, but he's highly experienced, knows the game, isn't mugged off often in the Premier League. He'd bring lots of exactly what we need. Captain material as well. Solid addition. Might have better offers but if you don't ask.

Schar would be an outstanding signing for Rangers L-Mac, but that won't happen though.

Great shout. He is a leader and is pretty handy in both boxes. Also seems to sray fit and available. If we can afford him he would be an excellent addition.

I was thinking of Lascelles of Newcastle, doesn't seem to be involved this season although I don't know if he's injured. He could do a Davie Weir for this team, win headers and tackles, lead and organise. He's in his thirties but we do need experience at the back.
