In your opinion is Rohl the man to take us forward?
I just don't see any good football being played. We use the long ball too often and don't display composure on the ball.
Now before I am lynched, my question is, as a coach, do you think this is purely down to a lack of quality within the team with perhaps low confidence?
It's clear we require better players and I hope Rohl has to play this way due to our abysmal recruitment.
Just looking for a wee bit of insight mate.

The team is the worst I can think of from the mid 80's (other than the lower division), I think Rohl has proven his worth by grinding out results. I think it'll take 3 year to fix what Thelwell and Martin have done to us and Rolh will need at least 2 windows before he can be proper judged.
The early signs are positive in my opinion.

From what I hear from those at the club, he's been very impressive and most I speak to are optimistic.
From the outside looking in, I am still optimistic as:
1. I really liked the shape he was working towards before Souttar, Cornelius and Moore got injured. Honestly feels like we've regressed massively from this point.
2. I sympathise as at times I can see the patterns of play and pressing that he wants, however we just aren't fit enough to sustain them.
3. I love his honesty in interviews.
I'm also aware that these can easily be excuses just because I want the guy to be a success.

I think it's a result of continuous rebuilds we should look at 2 to 3 quality signings per window. Instill a style that doesn't need continual change. Since Rohl has been in charge he's won more points than any other team in the league all you can ask.

Danny Rohl with his own recruitment i think will do well as our head coach ? Again, this is just my own opinion.

I've seen improvements but holding judgement until after the January window. I think with better players he can. I don't think coaching will help some off these players and they are being found out.

The guy inherited an utter SH** SHOW for goodness sake. Surely people are watching the football, no?
What even is this question? They guy has not had a single transfer window and he is getting questioned, by a couple I have to say, when results don't go our way. Too much reaction instead of being thoughtful and reflective.

Bit unfair, because DR started a gers winning move with same questionable mob previously amassed. Previously team in fear playing anybody, slow, ponderous, tortuous watch. Were on up, no doubt. Hoping fullness time squad will be unrecognisable to now. Lot seem put this season as loser. I'm not, because we have no outstanding adversary. Tic ain't great and found wanting against average sides. I live in hope.

But is not totally blameless for current shambles, he continually picks players who are out of form or completely usless, so has to take some responsibility
Time will tell but interestingly he appears to want Tav, Souttar, that will be one of his downfalls if not careful.

Bathgate i think hell get sacked in summer but with thewel sacked it means he's done nothing to merit the coach job hence the reason we go bk in for Muscat my 1st choise Danny will not do it for Rangers honestly.

Hes done well so far considering. Can you imagine how worse off we would be if we kept martin? Or Thelwell going into january. let's give him time and windows.
I fully believe he will bring us up a notch or 2 and would be top had he been in from the start.
Jasper i agree re tav. Souttar kept as 1 of 4 CBs absolutely fine by me.

Jasp keep hearing this but literally who else could he play? He's utilised almost everyone bringing some back in who were out the picture to give a chance. Hammered by injuries now. Look at the bench last night he had no real options.

At times last night there was some good play /patterns etc and that was with a squad who i poor. Danny is the man. Once he gets his own players I expect bigger and better things to come. It will take a few transfer windows.

Style means absolutely nothing, only results or would you rather have Martin back? Rodgers got found out at Celtic then Martin focused on results and now Celtic have their own Martin by the looks of it, choosing style over substances. Walter Smith and McLeish didn't play great football all the time, they played for results.
Rohl has turned us around in the league, yes Europe is over and disappointing but the damage was done there before Rohl and I've seen plenty say Europe doesn't matter but then complain when we get beat even by good teams. Individual mistakes are what is costing us goals and the second half last night looked like some of the player (Gassama, Raskin and the subs couldn't be bothered defensively) when Ferencvaros' players did.
The fact is the league is still possible after the disaster start cause Celtic aren't great and Hearts are struggling and haven't been as good as everyone is making out plus McInnes reverted to type low block then punt long and hope, just like at Killie and Abreeden. Motherwell have more chance to win the league.
Rohl hasn't had a single transfer window to do anything and imo we've always needed 3 or 4 windows to build a team with capable a capable bench as we've always been short in that regard, Clement, Gio and even Beale all got a single transfer with business done (yes some got a January but I don't count loans or players signed for next season) while losing key players and expecting to win the league (Gerrard got 6 or 7 windows, can't remember Covid rules). The damage done by Thelwell and Martin will take at least 3 to fix unless everyone signed hits the ground at top speed.

I look forward to seeing what he can do if we are able to get rid of these players. There's a limit to what you can do when your defenders can't even do the basics and almost every goal is self inflicted.

No manager could do better with that squad of players, too many projects, not enough experience, too few leaders. I truly believe if Rohl had nor replaced Martin we would be in the bottom two or three in the league. He has to be given time to suss out for himself who he can get a tune out of and who he needs rid of, he was doing that but injuries have meant that he is probably having to use guys he doesn't really want.
If he gets a few in in January we will get a better idea of what he is about but at the moment he is managing a bunch of players who aren't good enough.

This is all the players an not the manager whether he is the correct man for the job will always be up for debate until he wins things but he ain't winning the league with that squad as they are rank rotten. Surprised they are no posts saying the players need time ?. The same ones that said Martin needed time.
He will need more than Jan window as I ain't expecting miracles in Jan with the window.

I'm really hopeful that Rohl will sign tried and tested players for Rangers in january, starting with a centre half that's been there and done it and got the T-shirt ?.
