Scott McDermot at the Record reckons this is close to Rohl's assessment of the squad:

Plus Rohl said that Aasgaard would come good after coaching.

Antman is awful. He's not even a guarantee md starter for Finland. Just bang average player. He did well in The Netherlands but he never played against a low block. He's not a winger to commit a defender and go past them. He's a link up wide midfielder who wants to run onto the ball and hit the gaps to cross late into the box.
It's clear in his YouTube compilation before he signed. Rangers are constantly playing against low blocks. He'll never work out here. Hopefully he can be sold in the summer as January isn't realistic. Deserves to be in the red.

The facts are it's an opinion/guesswork piece. We'll never know who's in what section and can all guess and dismiss those we disagree with.
He mentioned contract length and injuries among other factors so it's not purely on technical ability or tactical suitability. Also if Chermiti and Antman were red why do they start over those in higher ranking sections. Why does he give Aarons game time. Rothwell I would assume probably is in the red as he's disappeared from the squads.

There should only be amber and red - not one players deserves to a green. Butland makes bread and butter saves but is prone to throw away stupid goals, so should be let go if a better alternative becomes available.
Souttar is bang average at best. Tav enough said. Raskin and Dio both flatter to deceive and none of the others are of a category that they can't be let go.

The Netherlands Guaruntee a free flowing attacking football. The amount of goals scored in that league is astounding.
He's a skilful talented player so in that environment he's going to excel.
Maybe not here, see him going on loan with option or obligation to buy in January.

Almost all the green are from previous regimes, don't think Cameron should be lumped in, he needs an actual run in the team, it's a pretty daming list if true, and would be the ammunition required to give Thelwell his books, he has wasted some amount of cash on very poor players, January going to be interesting not only on bringing fresh blood in but who will go, think quite a few will be champing at the bit to run away.

Probably going to have a few disagree here but Gassama is red as is Souttar and surely if Curtis was green we would have seen him some by now. Cameron is orange but Aasgaard is red and yet you'd think the opposite since playtime suggests otherwise.
My list would be
Green - Butland, Cornelius, Meghoma, Raskin, Diomande, Cameron, Barron and Curtis.
The rest you can put anywhere you want but I wouldn't be sad to see them go.

Antman will be given time and will come good given I've experienced a fair amount of Dutch football as I've worked between there and Germany for around 5 years this free flowing football is a lot of garbage and teams do sit 11 deep especially in the top flight Feynoord psv Ajax twente and alkmare usually play attacking football then you have a few teams who produce a few seasons of good talent currently utretcht/heerveen previously teams like vitesse gronigan ect but out with that the remaining 12/13 teams typically sit behind the ball if playing a tougher opponent. Rohl came out and said he's been suffering illness for a while which is likely affecting his game and it also tends to take players time to settle in.
Another thing The amount of people in our support who have little to no knowledge about football is astounding plays 5 or 6 bad games - dud doesn't get the numbers dud gets the numbers but isn't flashy dud the list is endless if no one gets behind the players how can we lift them and push them on? Ironically the only league title we've won in the past 14 years we didn't have any fans and quite a few of those games up untill around December when they fully crumbled we probably would've lost if the usual atmosphere was there. We can be the best fans in the world but we can also be the worst at times and untill we show a bit of unity and get behind the team our fortunes won't go up look across the city there all moaning because there board aren't improving because they know they've got it cushty but they aren't moaning about there current crop of players because they know 9/10 there going to win almost everything anyway even if most of them are rotten because they've got a decent core and the amount of last minute goals they score typically means that the fans aren't on the backs of players untill a result has went wrong where as if we aren't 2/3 up by half time everyone's booing and going nuts.
I want us winning like everyone else I want trophy's to return but we need to give patience we can't keep rebuilding every 6 months.
