Is Sunday's game a must win or is a draw acceptable?. imo a draw is a good result given the players we have out.

If we want to have any chance of laying down a marker I'd say it's a must win, obviously loads of points left to play for but if we can win our next 4 fixtures It will give our club a real lift and put the seed of doubt in to Celtic and hearts.

Anyone who says take a draw is accepting being losers. We are Rangers. We need to catch Celtic and then hearts. Only a win will do. The mentality of accepting runners up or worse is part of the problem on the park. Let's not allow that to become who we are.

We might have players who would accept a draw but no many fans who would. I'm thinking Motherwell should have battered Gorgie early in season when 3 up but somehow they got away with it, got m/well mates that were there who couldn't believe the collapse as it was looking like 6-0 to M/well after an hour.

Our squad is poor and hearts are very capable of beating us. We are not saying we want a draw but it would be an acceptable outcome not to lose points to hearts. Get through to January and strengthen then hit it hard.

Agree Lmac it is about the long game here and if that happens sooner and we were able somehow to win the league this season I think everyone would accept we are ahead of where we thought we would be after the Russell Martin debacle.
just counting but I think the 'must win' games in the league now we have had is now at 16 and counting ?; even Liverpool lost 4 last year.
so what do we do if we don't win this 'must win'? get rid of Rohl. asking as there are always consequences for a must win in anything. so if it is a must win what are these consequences. or is it just a cliched phrase fans use?

Pieter huistra, just imagine for talking sakes we could take a draw before the game, then go on to lose the league by a point or two. We should never settle for a point in spl, in Europe against top sides, but not in spl. Hearts have shown last couple of months they'll drop points. It's an absolute 50/50 imo.

It's a must win if they beat us I think the league is hearts if Celtic draw or get beat the night and we beat hearts I believe the momentum will be on Rangers side.
