Not a rumour, but sitting at Ibrox last year I couldn't help but think what an unbelievable job Danny Rohl is doing with the current squad. We are miles and miles off it yet we're still finding enough to eke out league results which is all we can do.
January can't come quick enough but I just wanted to see what others thought of the job Rohl's doing?

He's done well with a squad that is clearly lacking in key areas.
Slow and steady progress is all that we ask for and I'll accept 1-0's every week if it keeps us on pace with others at the top.
I don't see major additions in January but love to see a couple leave and sign a no nonsense CH, midfield playmaker and a striker who scores.

With what he inherited from those two clowns Thelwell and Martin, Rohl has done an amazing job for us so far. giving us much needed league wins resulting in a big jump in the table.
Not to mention the injuries he has had to deal with. I hope he keeps it up and can get us to January in decent shape and he's supported with funds to start to shape the team how he wants.

Awryt marty mcfly ? na mate in all seriousness he's doing just fine with what he has. Ideally I would have liked more attacking flair but the squad we have is currently incapable of that for whatever reason.
There is decent players within the squad but currently not hitting top form. Hopefully we can shift a few n whoever we do bring in, they need to have a bit about them between the teeth. No more girly premadonas.

Yeah Lee can't really fault the guy tbh. We all know this squad isn't even close to the standards required, but he's managing to grind out results. That's all we can ask of him at this stage.

To be honest he has achieved much more than I ever expected, so he does deserve a lot of praise, I hope those upstairs realise if given the chance to spend reasonably in January, there could be something to celebrate at end of the season. Which is pretty remarkable considering the chaos he took over from.

Man has done well, I see three signings made for the first team in January as major additions.

He has done a brilliant job with the limited resources that he inherited. He said when he started it was all about the results and he has delivered those in the league. I think now that he has a nearly a full week on the training ground we might see a difference on Sunday against Hearts, hopefully a bit more positive going forward.

I don't see us bringing in a CH in January unless it's someone on the radar that we really want. As 3rd and 4th choice Djiga and Fernandes have been good. We also have other options like Tav and Sterling to play there.
I want a proper left back because Magoma is not even close to standard needed.
We ideally also get a striker out and one in. Personally I would get rid of Dani as he is just mot cutting it.
We also need wide players, at least one but if can move a couple on then bring in two for me.

he is doing really well with a squad whose average age is around 23. this might be why they aren't brave enough to make those forward passes he wants but isn't seeing. If he manages to get the key experienced players in January then that might help these young lads to gain confidence and blossom. Until then I will take wins however scruffy.
