Try to watch what he does well rather than just shouting about the odd bad things. he put in a load of effort, laid the ball off well and had some good touches. what about the chest control just at the end when he brings it down on tight and holds onto it until the ref blows.
he is improving but some just can't see past his price tag. is he perfect then no but we can't afford Haaland and you moaned about Dessers as well.

I thought he had a decent game, led the line well and had some nice touches. Not saying he's brilliant but had a decent game tonight and energy levels were great.

His positional sense is very poor in the 6 yard box. doesn't know how to read where the ball will land. but a decent enough shift as we are struggling up there. he neeeds a goal or 2 like Miovski got and quickly became a hero.

At the end of the day we won. 3pt off Celtic and were able to rotate, still get a clean sheet and win for 3rd time against Hibs…
Was everyone great, NO, but overall all out in a shift and again… we won.
And for those baffled by his selections of players and formations, probably why he is a manager and you are armchair enthusiasts!

I don't think he pressed quick enough tonight few times he was on his heels, done well physically a few times. Absolutely zero service so I'll not knock him for for his goal drought.

It isn't just the price tag with Chermiti it the fact he is not a very good player
Although he is at least putting in the effort to try and help team, but needs replaced in Jan if we are to have any chance. as bad as he is preferable to Dinilo. certainly not a lot of options at present.

Delighted with 3 points at least we are grinding out results and keeping a clean sheet - DR needs a few new players but in the meantime he is keeping us in the hunt and I would like to think he is only going to get better and better for us.

Angus of course people look at his price tag then what he is doing on the park, he does not look a million pound player never mind eight million, and yes I'm not blaming the player for the fee it's us for paying it. A few nice touches here in there over many games now is not going to be enough.
Even worse than that is when we enquired about him we were offered him on loan! Came from a very good source.
Another reason to be rightly upset about the signing. I'm not blaming the boy he is just not of the level needed. And if some think he might develop then c'mon 8 or 9 million for a guy who's unproven.

Rosevale I am not saying I am happy that we spent the money on him but he didn't choose that so can we stop hitting him with that stick and try to support him. Thelwell is gone who needed hit with it and hard.
I thought he had a better game last night although he didn't score. he does need to have some chances created for him to do that though.
He was unproven and we need to remember this is the first team he has been the starting number 9 for.
he needs to grow into that, get developed by the coaching team and he will continue to get better. it will take time but what we need to do or just write the whole £8M off.
just think he needs support atm rather than being judged for a fee which isn't his fault.

I think he did ok last night considering the service he was getting. As Angus said we need to do our best to develop him so we can at least get our money back.
Whether or not we got offered him as a loan or not is immaterial now, we have him so let's try to make him a sellable asset.

Rosevale I only gave the opinion that he needs support and I don't think the constant sniping at him does that or helps. It wasn't directed at you but more a general comment.
how about we give him a chance to develop with that support and see where he goes. I don't think he will ever be a 25 goals a season striker but we had one of those and chased him off. he might be that focal point though who the attack pivots around with his developing hold up play.

I know plenty current and past who don't rate him at all, so again its only your opinion on not based on any fact.
That includes ex players who have coached at a good level.
We won't agree on it and that's fine.
Mystar it was a bad signing, Davies Moyes offered us him on loan first and we went for the signing!
