Let's talk facts and the grey areas.
There is no proof, no charges, no investigations that show anyone was involved in a scam, corruption, or anything illegal. That's the truth, whether folk like it or not. Football authorities, leagues, and regulators have nothing on him.
But, football isn't judged only in courtrooms. It's judged on trust, optics, and accountability and this is where the dark areas creep in. He signs Chermiti at Everton. It doesn't work. He then arrives at Rangers… and brings the same player back in again.
Legally? Fine. Optically? Very uncomfortable.
Add to that:
1. A player who changed agents between moves
2. A sporting director using prior relationships to push deals
3. Recruitment money being spent on players fans already had doubts about
4. And the hiring of family members within the football structure
None of that screams "crime" — but it does raise eyebrows.
Football has a long history of:
A. Old pals helping old pals
B. "Trust me" signings
C. Executives recycling players they personally believe in
D. Clubs paying the price when that belief is wrong
And Rangers supporters are right to question it.
This isn't about shouting "scam" with no evidence. It's about saying standards matter. When money is tight, when fans are asked to be patient, when performances dip transparency becomes everything. And when decisions look recycled, rushed, or personal, suspicion fills the silence.
So no, there's no smoking gun. But yes, there are dark areas, bad judgement, and optics that were never going to sit right with the Rangers support. And at this club, that should never be ignored. Lower than a snakes belly this one. Who is this person? ?.

Don't think there was any conspiracy just incompetence. Most people and businesses work with and do deals with people they know. This was just a group that were really poor at their jobs, and totally underestimated the size of the club and Scottish football as a whole thinking it would be an easy ticket to success because we're always part of the top 2 and in Europe. They followed the general English attitude that if you play in England you can stroll it up here or that it's just a stepping stone for academy kids.
Even the boast of £20m investment like we'd all be blown away even though it's pocket change down south. They've gone thankfully and owners now realise they need proper people involved so hopefully will get it right now as they seem to be doing.

Everyone at work hires people they have worked with previously as working with someone is a much better judge of ability than an interview with a random person.

I'd imagine that May individuals at clubs would use their knowledge on players they've worked with previously when looking to make signings. Less of a gamble in reality. I'm hoping Rohl utilises his German contacts for our benefit.

That's exactly what it is LMac17, nothing more. We have a common theme since admin where we appoint people from the playing staff to managers and Dof to the boardroom who are completely incompetent and out of their depth.

Then there is the players where the list is too much to type.
We've had two years since 2012 where we have had reasonable success, 55 and EL final. The other 11 years have been the cause of the term banter years due to the names mentioned above.
Its complete incompetence.
