You know something, I just have a feeling that our new manager will be announced and nobody will have mentioned his name.
I think it won't be any of the candidates mentioned in the press.
Just a sneaking feeling. The press have no clue. Those in the know aren't 100% sure. But I think he's already accepted the job and an announcement could be today or at any point this week.
I'm lost as to who it could be. What I will say is those mentioned in the press and on here don't really get me excited and I'm hoping I'm right, that the club is sealed tight and no info has gotten out and we are all in for a pleasant surprise. But like you guys I watch and wait. Whoever gets the job will need at least 1/ 2 seasons to really make an impact in the job, will he be given the time? doubtful considering the way we have been hounding managers out the door.

Arcade you may well be right. is it a manager who is already in a job because all of those mentioned so far except Lampard haven't been. excited about when it will be announced and hopefully soon as most leagues will be finished.

I don't know why anyone would have red faces. The guys are just posting what they hear and are kind enough to share. Enough of the point scoring its a rumours page.
Going back to my original point, a left field appointment maybe from the states? Or someone we all think we have no chance of getting. Whoever takes it have a huge job on their hands. I just hope they hit the ground running. The Champs qualies are fast approaching so we need this appointment made ASAP.

Arcade, I've been saying this from day 1, before the list of a dozen or so certainties were all mentioned. I also agree, first 6 months in particular is going to be a rough ride, just hope we can stay in touch till January window?
