I agree dutch the manager has been class since he came in. We have to remember where we were a few seasons ago struggling to finish third and now look at our team still in three competitions and looking good in the Europa and domestic league.

Being at the game today and now sitting back reflecting what a performance we put in on what I can only say a midden of a park! We showed today how far we have come and the mouth about them isn’t that great! By far the better team and in any other day we’d be holding that cup aloft but it just wasn’t to be!

Bears remember who we are and how far we’ve came and also what SG has brought to this team! I’m disappointed totally but I’m also upbeat with that performance as we were better all over the park apart from the ball in the net ( and yes I know that’s the aim ) but we have the Euro league and also our league to concentrate on and I’m even more a confident! Just wasn’t our day today but I’m far far far more upbeat going forward!

Maybe you's want to settle for 2nd best but most people dont. We've backed SG in the market. 7m for Kent Aribo, Brandon Barker. Done nothing. Too many under achievers. Yes he's done well in Europe and we are 2nd in the league but he don't have the mentality to win anything imo. This season will be another season without silverware. Too many rose tinted specs on here. The signings are going to be Gerrards undoing.

Sadiq, Ojo, Ejaria, Barker, King (remember him), Coulibally, Lafferty, Worral, Grezda, Mc Aualy have or are proving to be failures

Yes there have been so good ones too (McGregor, Arfield, Katic, Defoe and Kamara) but many of them e. g. Defoe and Katic feature sparingly. Think of the money wasted on wages.

Gerrard was talking up Aribo big style after playing tidly wink teams but where has he been against them and in Europe? Kent went into hiding at the end there today too but hope he will live up to the hype as we have little Individual creativity out with him

Morelos is a big wain and constantly spits the dummy. He doesn’t have the class required and 11 games against then without scoring does not win leagues or cups. I fully understand that that is controversial as where would we be in the league without him but that just proves, we have not progressed as far as some would like to think.

I didn't say sack him. He buys players brings them in for one game then drops them and brings them back again. You've got to give people a run in the team. When you play guys that don't perform you will start to struggle. Morelos has been outstanding this season. he's Carried the team. We can't defend and have no pace. We don't play young players. The likes of Katic, Edmunnson or even give Dochery a chance. The boy Stewart has done excellent and doesn't get a game. Andy King. Never been seen. When the big games matter we constantly fail. In a captain you look for inspiration, commitment and drive. Taviener has none of that. he's been off the pace for weeks. There you go. Gerrard needs judged on trophies not what he done as a player. Its totally irrelevant.

By no means am I saying Gerrard needs sacked, but if he was a less glamorous manager (say we had appointed McInnes) with the exact same results against them, performance in the transfer market etc., I’m sure a lot more of you would be asking questions. Im going to say it. VAR. Whether you like var or not for games of this magnitude it has largely got rid of the illegal goals down in England and major competitions. We can't rely on our piss poor refs to produce correct decisions in games like this. Its not sour grapes and i'm sure Celtic supporters would be equally aggrieved if we took the trophy via a clearly offside goal.

Im sorry but in my eyes that's a goal. Technically offside but we should have defended it, nobody tried to play him off. The penalty decision midweek however was a huge mistake by the ref where he thought it was a foul but not serious enough to give a pen so he crapped it and gave a foul outside the box. VAR? Not for me.

NO highland bear, i'm not stupid! You could not tell that he was offside in real time and level is onside remember. Three players offside is impossible unless they all went for the ball which they didnt. We are all hurting but the missed pen cost us the game.

It's not even a hard decision jyf from open play. It's a set piece the linesman job is to be on line with last defender. So in the game in your mind if the defenders don't play for offside it doednt get given, even if it is off? That's warped.

Jyf it’s offside, plain and simple. It was an easy call especially from a set piece. Not one but three players were beyond the last defender.

We didn’t lose the game because we didn’t take our chances, we lost the game because an offside goal was ruled ok. That’s the facts of the matter.

We should have had the game wrapped up well before then, but for some great and fortunate goalkeeping.

We were desperately unlucky simple . No matter what you need a little luck in these games . We had little. We played them off the park, and they will still have the problem of complacency. Think this result will stand us in great stead . We are the better team when we are up for it . The league and Scottish cup will change the climate . The league cup? I’ve said since the start of last season we will NEVER win a trophy with Tav as captain. Was hoping I would be proven wrong today, but sadly not the case. Stevie G’s loyalty to the likes of him and Goldson will cost him his job and the chance to manage Liverpool in the future. Celtic will win the treble this season, we’ll stick with Gerrard, he’ll stick with those two idiots then we’ll eventually fire him this time next year when we’re too far behind in the title race for a new manager to do anything about it.

Yes there goal was off side, we cannot score from 10 yards and cannot beat 10 men. We have too many boys and not enough men. Very little character in crunch time and those who do try to step up like Stewart, Halliday and Katic can’t get a game. I’m not saying Stewart and Halliday are world beaters by any means, but Celtic would at least have known they were there, Kent and Aribo were empty jerseys.

Kent and Aribo empty jerseys! They both played well until Kent ran out of steam. don't think Rangers had a bad player in the starting 11, creating so many chances. Could criticise Morelos for the penalty miss and a few other misses but he did create them. Bad luck and a keeper on form- plenty to be positive about.

For me, Kent was too central whenever he got the ball, he is better in the wide areas with barisic assisting him. Great shot from Jack in first half, but we don't see enough of that from any of our players in any game. Gerrard was renowned for his shooting from long range, I wish he could teach some of our lads how to do it!

Normally I come on here and have a right rant after a game like that but although I'm absolutely devastated to lose we have shown that we can batter them in a game (Although we didn't win)

Disappointed that Barker came on and not Stewart - I think Barker was shockingly bad

I know we lost this game but I've never had more belief that we can win this league.

For the second game in a row though Kent Aribo and Arfield have been shocking. Kent’s meant to be our big money man to make things tick. Against Hamilton is not when we need it. The big games is what wins the silver.

Quietist game McGregor will ever have against them. I’m afraid to say it it like when the goalie kept us in the games when we won every time.

That's why they are champions and win things and we can't/ don't - it's the wining mentality they have. You only have to look at Wednesday's games. Our arse collapsed when Aberdeen got a goal back. Hamilton scored an equaliser in the 90th minute and Celtic go straight up and score a winner.
It's a mentality we don't have. I standby to get abuse about how well we played etc, but, again, look at the score and above stats. Says it all. So gutted. could derail our season, players will be so deflated. Cue, the abuse.
