Apparently there has been contact with St Mirren for goalkeeper Hladky. I have been impressed by him when we have played them. He could be useful!

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 06 Nov 2019 10:59:38
wes on his way then?

2.) 06 Nov 2019 11:15:38
Ivlark Wes out of contract, won't be renewed.

3.) 06 Nov 2019 13:04:26
Work with a st mirren fan and he raves about Hladky. Not seen much of him myself and I suppose the guy doesnโ€™t have much else to rave about.

4.) 06 Nov 2019 14:23:24
I prefer the guy Rudd at pne we were linked with last week.

5.) 08 Nov 2019 10:41:09
Rudd ok good keeper stay in Preston few one fans say he's prone to odd mistake.

14 Oct 2019 23:23:13
Few media platforms suggesting Ross Wilson already has his sights set on pushing through a 2 million deal for Aaron Hickey. Already like the sound of this guy. ๐Ÿ‘.

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 15 Oct 2019 01:36:23
I think Hickey could turn into some player only 17 years old as well. It would certainly be a great start for Ross Wilson.

2.) 15 Oct 2019 07:23:35
Not heard of him is he any good? Where does he play?

3.) 15 Oct 2019 09:20:00
17 year old left back at hearts, a lot off money for a boy to sit on bench, he has potential.

4.) 15 Oct 2019 09:21:12
Why would that be a great start for Ross Wilson? Anyone can see that the boy has potential so itโ€™s not as if heโ€™s found this player we havenโ€™t heard of before playing somewhere abroad or whatever. Iโ€™m pretty sure that Gerrard and the staff already there will know about the player and incidentally is worth nowhere near that ยฃ2m thatโ€™s getting quoted.

5.) 15 Oct 2019 09:28:19
Correct rick๐Ÿ‘.

6.) 15 Oct 2019 10:29:42
Massive potential so I think It would be a great start. Wouldn't let Hearts bend us over for money right enough. There will be a tussle when money gets put on the table for the lad. He's a Tim, does it matter? Will leave that for another day lol.

7.) 15 Oct 2019 12:16:15
Rick: Hickey is one of the highest rated young players in Europe, and the fact we are in the chase is a good thing, yet you seem to see it as a negative? Let's be honest here, the chances of you being in charge of recruitment are fortunately ZERO.

8.) 15 Oct 2019 12:31:34
Souness rick's point is simply that everyone knows hickey's potential and ross wilson picking him out isn't exactly a find, which was the point that C had originally made. He was not being negative towards hickey at all. You just made it sound negative to suit your blinkered agenda. Learn to read. ๐Ÿ‘.

9.) 15 Oct 2019 13:22:14
Where in my original point did I say Ross Wilson "picked him out"? And you have the brass neck to tell people to learn to read lol talking about blinkered agendas? The only person that seems to have an agenda is you. Against our best players and fellow fans. Are you Tam Calderwood from Clydebank?

10.) 15 Oct 2019 13:22:21
The young lad Hickey could turn out to be a real player, But is it or would it be worth a gamble if the price being quoted is 2 Million, ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‘.

11.) 15 Oct 2019 13:52:18
Would love to hear Coldo and Rick Witter's plans for recruitment - you sound like you think you have an ear to the ground when it comes to football talent guys, come on, enlighten us with a list on wonderkids.

12.) 15 Oct 2019 13:55:05
You like the sound of wilson because he is going after hickey, so if I read that correctly then that means wilson has picked him out as a signing for us C, does it not? Rick said that everyone knows about hickey's potential and that he meant that wilson picking him out is not a find. Souness said that rick was being negative towards hickey. I was explaining to souness what rick meant in regards to your original post.

13.) 15 Oct 2019 14:12:40
Souness, just about every single reader of these pages has laughed at Tam Calderwoods comments on players in our team. He cannot be taken seriously anymore. You ever noticed he never posts his own opinion on things. Tam only comments on other people's posts.

14.) 15 Oct 2019 14:15:09
2 million is nothing anyway itโ€™s a bargain tbh. Heโ€™s brilliant at spotting talent Ross Wilson and I didnโ€™t say anyone didnโ€™t know anything about him already.

15.) 15 Oct 2019 14:20:51
Again souness no one is disagreeing that hickey is not a talent, you've completely misread ricks point. ๐Ÿ‘.

16.) 15 Oct 2019 14:20:58
Well Tam, you better get on the fone to all the other media platforms that are using similar language and preach to them whatever it is you are trying to get at. I have said weeks ago that I liked the boy Hickey and he was linked to Southampton through Wilson. In the words of Hugh Keevins, "Tam, what's the point you are trying to make here? "

17.) 15 Oct 2019 14:31:46
Maybe he was after hickey at southampton before joining the gers and now he wants the lad to play for us instead. Just a thought.

18.) 15 Oct 2019 15:04:15
To much like common sense Yogi mate lol.

19.) 15 Oct 2019 21:02:27
Lot of talk here about hickey and our academy. Five off our boys played for under 19s who beat Germany with mcpake scoring.
Best two players on park ch from Hamilton accies worth watching.
Mom James maxwell our left back, so why spend two million on hickey when we have very good potential in our own academy.

20.) 16 Oct 2019 10:33:20
NOW NOW CHILDREN ๐Ÿ˜‚.

21.) 16 Oct 2019 13:55:37
Wilson has had the boy followed while at Southampton. Who cares if wilson has found him or he is widely known. Just happy we are mentioned regarding promising scottish talent. Shows that we are planning for not just the next season but 3 even 5 seasons ahead. I personally would sign him and leave him at hearts for next 18 months. Let them bring him on for us.

14 Oct 2019 16:36:07
I see we are looking at making Ojos contract a permanent one. Will make a few on here blow a fuse ๐Ÿ˜‚.

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 14 Oct 2019 16:52:32
Surely not?!?! Wouldnโ€™t say heโ€™s set the heather on fire since he arrived. Wonder how much Liverpool value him?

2.) 14 Oct 2019 17:31:38
What about this 5 year contract? Could you be talking fantasy again C๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

3.) 14 Oct 2019 19:02:10
Coldo, reported in mail and mirror sun. Says Liverpool have decided he wonโ€™t make grade and has been offered Rogers.
Should make your day.

4.) 14 Oct 2019 19:05:56
Stuff online about it. If it's true somebody better fone Rangers and tell them coldo said he's hopeless lol.

5.) 14 Oct 2019 19:34:37
Don't worry John, when Coldo says somebody is mince they are usually a candidate for the Ballon dรณr within a few months lol.

6.) 14 Oct 2019 19:55:11
Probably Liverpool will want him of books๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง.

7.) 14 Oct 2019 20:09:31
Lol cof ibrox. All about opinions.

8.) 14 Oct 2019 20:27:51
Coldo has phoned big klopp n told him ojo is pish haha. Seriously tho, wouldn't want to spend much on him if its true.

9.) 14 Oct 2019 22:34:03
He is very frustrating. You can definitely see the talent is there. Think he can become a big player for us.

10.) 14 Oct 2019 23:15:47
Even klopp knows ojo is pish๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘.

11.) 15 Oct 2019 07:22:08
Took kent a bit of time to settle i think he has shown glimpses of quality. If he is going cheap then i would take a risk and by cheap i mean 2mil at most. can't see Liverpool selling at that though.

12.) 15 Oct 2019 08:52:31
His goal and assist tally is already about what Kent got for whole season and we are only in October .
The boy has talent, just not at Liverpool's level, or likely ever will.
is he worth picking up? sure if price is right.

13.) 15 Oct 2019 09:22:44
It was only last week that the blinkered were using the 5 year contract as leverage to prove ohno is better than kent. Now it turns out that liverpool regret giving ohno a 5 year contract. Comedy gold lads๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘.

14.) 15 Oct 2019 09:38:50
Apparently gerrard wants ohno on a permanent deal so he can drop him๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘.

15.) 15 Oct 2019 10:27:13
Liverpool would have offered him a contract to up his value in order to sell him. Is that hard to understand? It happens all the time. I haven't seen anybody here say Kent is better than Ojo. 2 million would be decent value for a good player. Liverpool would be looking for at least double that I would imagine.

16.) 15 Oct 2019 10:26:07
I'm 100% with coldo on this don't rate him one bit.

17.) 15 Oct 2019 10:53:47
So C you say liverpool gave him a new contract to up his value and in the same breath you say liverpool would be looking for at least 4mil. Do you realise how ridiculous that sounds? We paid 7mil for kent yet you value the superstar ohno at nearly half the value of kent. Is that hard to understand you asked- eh aye๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘.

18.) 15 Oct 2019 12:38:29
What sounds ridiculous about it? Like I have told you before, your player opinion is tripe. You have continually slated our best players and even wanted Morelos sold. Your comments are laughable. Can we have it in black and white that you think Ojo is useless. Then when you do your 3 to 4 monthly back tracking you won't say I told you so and so made him change his attitude blah blah blah. You should go round each and everyone of the players in our team and tell us all how poor they are. We will win the league at a canter when the curse of coldo is bestowed on them.

19.) 15 Oct 2019 13:04:25
Aye coldo, why don't you start talking up more of their players and slag off more of ours? The league would be a stick on for us ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘.

20.) 15 Oct 2019 13:05:38
You are mumbling nonsense c. You said that they gave him a contract to up his value but then you value him at 4mil. His contract will be worth more than that. that's why its ridiculous. You said he is better than kent but value him 50% less than kent. that's why its ridiculous. And FYI I was 100% spot on regarding morelos. If morelos was the same morelos as last year he wouldn't be in the team. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‘.

21.) 15 Oct 2019 13:16:22
Only slag off the one's that don't pull their weight seeker, that's why the multi million pound superstar mckay got it tight. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘.

22.) 15 Oct 2019 13:46:56
I notice you never gave it tight to a certain Mr Lafferty, coldo ๐Ÿ‘.

23.) 15 Oct 2019 14:22:05
Seeker, if he did, Lafferty would still be here banging them in lol.

24.) 15 Oct 2019 14:23:05
Never got a chance seeker, he only got 10mins here and there. ๐Ÿ‘.

25.) 15 Oct 2019 14:53:08
A lot to do with his attitude, coldo, as well as just simply being pish I suspect ๐Ÿ‘.

12 Oct 2019 22:18:55
Ross Wilson has accepted an offer to become our DOF. Hope this doesn't mean Celtic become our feeder club. He comes with a big reputation but if I am honest, I don't know much about him or what he will contribute to the club.

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 13 Oct 2019 06:13:13
Made Southampton about 300mil from liverpool alone. If he gets us 1/ 5 I'll be very happy. he's a highly coveted and sought after man.

2.) 13 Oct 2019 12:30:15
There's plenty in the celtic team that are better than ojo C so them being our feeder club might not be a bad thing๐Ÿ‘.

3.) 13 Oct 2019 15:03:53
Yip, i think ross wilson will be a brilliant appointment for us. Still so very young, with a tremendous wealth of experience, at only 35 years old. I wish ross all the very best in his new role as director of football at the famous glasgow rangers. He's very highly regarded within the game. Brilliant coup imo.

4.) 14 Oct 2019 08:47:24
He was instrumental in the appointment of two managers who bombed and in buying players worth more than ยฃ50m who are now out on loan. There is little or no noise from Southampton about losing him and the fans are certainly not all that concerned. He has had a mercurial rise to prominence by the age of 36 but he will now be fishing in a different pond and with a far more restricted budget. I wish him every success, but if he is 'very highly regarded' the question must be asked why he is not employed by one of England's top six. I'll hold on the hysteria for a wee while longer.

5.) 14 Oct 2019 10:15:55
Do you not like/ rate Ojo coldo? You never mention it!

6.) 14 Oct 2019 10:16:09
Do you not like/ rate Ojo coldo? You never mention it!

05 Jul 2019 06:50:55
Sometimes the new player that shines is not the most expected and I think that the stand out for us next season might be Jordan Jones. I honestly don't think Kent will be back now. Hope I am wrong but don't think so!

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 05 Jul 2019 09:06:36
I agree C. Between Murphy, Jones, Ojo, Aribo and Hastie we have some good options!
Iโ€™m buzzing for Murphy he was just starting to establish himself and now with better players around him I think heโ€™ll be fantastic!
Do we need Kent? Probably not but Iโ€™d still take him if the option was there.
Jack, Davis, Kamara, Murphy, Aribo, Ojo, Defoe, Morelos! Plenty of options!

2.) 05 Jul 2019 09:21:55
Agree c of ibrox a think jones might just surprise a few folk.

3.) 05 Jul 2019 09:25:41
Mate was at the TNS and said biggest surprise was Jones.
Other new players looked decent but he said Jones looked much faster and involved than at K'nock.

4.) 05 Jul 2019 09:55:02
i agree, i doubt kent will be back. With Arfield, Jonesand Murphy that can play on the left i'm not sure we need him. Ojo, hastie and candias on the right we are well covered for wide areas.

5.) 05 Jul 2019 10:47:59
I think Hastie might surprise a few. Looking forward to Murphy looked as though he was getting used to our style under SG till he got crocked.

6.) 05 Jul 2019 12:41:40
Kent was always a stop-gap while Murphy was injured - we have plenty options, all better value than Kent, although it'd be great if he came back too.

7.) 05 Jul 2019 22:37:35
Given how excellent Jones has been for NI in the qualifiers, there's definitely expectation around him. Couldn't care less about Kent - Jones nearly matched his stats last season in very different teams. And does it for his country. Much happier with having our own players than developing Liverpool's unwanted.

14 Jan 2020 10:27:31
There has been a lot of talk of how Barisic, Morelos and Davis have came right onto a game (rightly so they have been class) but rarely does anyone mention the turn around in big Goldson. Granted he is still prone to the odd wobble but that will happen. He has been brilliant this season. Is it 13 goals conceded in all competitions? and Goldson is the one constant at the back. I think he deserves far more recognition than he is currently getting. On a sidenote, some of our stats compared to last year are unbelievable. The improvement is there for all to see. I can't wait for the football to get going again. These breaks are a nightmare.

We welcome the chase ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง.

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 14 Jan 2020 11:28:49
He has definetly improved since his error against them at ibrox. However still has many shakey moments and has been far from a stand out performer for us.

2.) 14 Jan 2020 12:22:21
I for one have been very critical off Goldson, But I thought he was a stand out against Them Porkheid, ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บโšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž.

3.) 14 Jan 2020 12:55:10
I thought Goldson was outstanding in the OF win, he has become a lot more steady over the past 2 months, good player.

4.) 14 Jan 2020 14:39:01
OF game was definitely a high point for him performance wise.
But as I've said repeatedly, on plastic he is a bombscare, unfortunately we still have to go to a quite a few of them before the end of season.

5.) 14 Jan 2020 17:58:38
best defense in scotland yet he is a bombscare, generally his passing is superb, his long balls are usually inch perfect.

6.) 14 Jan 2020 23:42:11
Goldson is a good centre half and is getting better. I've seen McKinnon, Gough, Butcher, the lot, all having 'wobbles' and making mistakes, it's called being human. Sadly we have a generation of laptop loyal fans who are hyper critical of the least wee thing.

11 Jan 2020 13:42:37
It's such a shame for young Patterson. With the league being so tight and with the year being very important, I think his chances will be very limited. Looks a great young player.

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 11 Jan 2020 14:16:53
C of ibrox, ime always shouting about young patterson mate, and i missed todays game, feckin raging.

2.) 11 Jan 2020 16:19:13
He played really well mate. Was impressed by him. Could definitely be the future RB. Certainly has the potential!

3.) 11 Jan 2020 17:21:31
Paul you can still watch it . if you donโ€™t mind donating 10 to the cause.

4.) 11 Jan 2020 18:09:47
I thought young Patterson also played really well but according to some we were playing nobody so it was a MEANINGLESS run out for him. ๐Ÿค”
He definitely has the physical attributes and engine to succeed to RB and was comfy on the ball as well.

5.) 11 Jan 2020 20:31:40
He's got a lot more than just the next few months to look forward to. He has just turned 18 and has a great future, he is being coached and mentored by the very best, so why is it a shame for him?

6.) 11 Jan 2020 23:55:29
I am starting to think that some people come on here just for an argument. It's a shame for him because he would probably be getting his chance by now were it not for this season being so important. Lose it this year and his chances next season will be extremely limited again. Crazy I had to explain that again. Would have thought it was pretty clear what I meant in my original post. Obviously not.

08 Jan 2020 12:09:25
Stevie got the manager of the month award. Finally a bit of recognition for all the hard work. ๐Ÿ‘.

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 09 Jan 2020 22:42:13
C of ibrox, stevie who, lol, they had to give him it, or they would have got slaughtered'it would have been the wee guy with the split lip that got it, had they beaten us, but hopefully we've now got there number, pal.

06 Jan 2020 20:03:29
Grezda will go down as one of the biggest ever Rangers flops for me. I remember at the time we signed him, his Albanian manager said he was a 20 million pound player and he was to good to sign for Rangers and that it was a bad move for him. He also said if he stayed at Osijek he would eventually land a move to a bigger club than Rangers. Borna Barisic also said he was the best player at Osijek. He showed absolutely nothing to substantiate any of the high praise that was showered on him. Massive waste of time and money.

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 06 Jan 2020 20:08:23
Cof ibrox. Re Grezda there is a player in there, good we have a sell on clause just in case.

2.) 06 Jan 2020 20:22:40
There might be ability in there somewhere but attitude counts for so much.

3.) 06 Jan 2020 21:06:33
Agree snell, but many on here last year questioned barisic attitude last season.

4.) 06 Jan 2020 21:50:24
Barisic never spat on anyone though mate.

5.) 06 Jan 2020 22:17:14
Snell i don't really think the spitting thing comes into it if am honest.

6.) 06 Jan 2020 22:27:31
To be fair we have had a few absolute belters of flop. Grezda is just one name in a very very long line.

7.) 06 Jan 2020 23:43:52
Snell, you beat me to it mate, classless player, better without his type.

8.) 07 Jan 2020 04:41:51
Ian ferguson.

9.) 07 Jan 2020 05:22:48
It's a real shame, he ruined it for himself.

Katic and Barasic have both had their troubles but got the head down and let their football do the talking.

The guy got dropped to the youth team and embarrassed himself instead of working hard to turn it round.

10.) 07 Jan 2020 13:38:39
Paul86. What Ferguson are you on about. The one from Glasgow or the one from North Lanarkshire ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บโšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž.

11.) 07 Jan 2020 17:37:23
The ian ferguson who now lives in Oz who gobbed at Petric. Just wondering if the guys who wanted grezda out for spitting ( mainly cause he's a poor player) wanted fergie out the club aswel? Struggling to see it if am honest.

12.) 07 Jan 2020 18:33:45
Also amoruso got a ban for racially abusing s player, just as bad as spitting in my eyes and everybody forgave him. Best wishes to the lad shame it never worked out.

13.) 07 Jan 2020 21:21:12
Gascoigne Had that night at gleneagles when he knocked his missus about surely that's up there with spitting? Adored by the fans inc myself.

14.) 07 Jan 2020 21:43:34
Paul86". , i think any player that spits on another should be banned from taken to a football pitch ever again, its a clatty, manky thing to do to another, gazza beat his wife up, that's domestic and has got nowt to do with his behaviour on a football pitch, anybody that spits, banned indefinetly.

15.) 07 Jan 2020 22:14:39
Paul, that's he'll of double standard. Spitting on pitch unforgivable, but gazza giving his good lady a doing which could only happen off park TBH. This is OK because not football related? That's c*** because whilst a rangers employee everything you do football related.

16.) 07 Jan 2020 22:44:16
Paul all am saying is i cannot remember anybody at the time having the same issues with ian ferguson wanting him sacked fron the club. Probably a bit b4 social media tho i guess. Also was employed diouf probably only 2 wind up the tims after he gobbed on them at parkhead.

17.) 08 Jan 2020 00:20:25
Agreed mbw, couldn't have put it better myself mate ๐Ÿ‘.

18.) 08 Jan 2020 13:24:37
Paul86, ferguson& duiof should have been booted out the club for spitting, well with duiof we shouldn't have signed him, but like you say, maybe only signed to noise that lot up, and it worked cause that celtic mob hated him.

04 Jan 2020 16:04:53
On the subject of Rangers fans booing at Parkhead, some of the Tims are demanding respect for the dead. This comes weeks after the Green Brigade never entered the stadium until after the minutes silence on remembrance weekend. You couldn't paint a rid neck on the Tims!

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 04 Jan 2020 16:33:03
2 wrongs don't make a right. we should be better than them. we always used to be.

2.) 04 Jan 2020 16:39:51
Struth, Rangers and Celtic fans have always been as bad as each other. Let's be honest here. There's been countless times over the years our fans have let us down and vice versa. I am not saying what's right or wrong. Just pointing out hypocrisy mate.

3.) 04 Jan 2020 17:02:40
Understandable but we should rise above.

4.) 04 Jan 2020 21:57:02
no need to rise when you're already better.

He's big and strong with a style of play that is similar to Morelos. A player like him won't be thinking 2nd or 3rd place striker. He would fancy his chances of being number 1. What if Morelos or Defoe gets injured? I honestly think we will sign a striker in January. Won't be him tho unfortunately. It's a non starter and that's from my big source that is close to the first team, Stevie Ger!

Do we really need to debate if we need a World Cup winner or not? Herewego55, he has scored plenty and all at the highest level (not against Celtic tho lol) .

Gave up with coupons 10 years ago as Villa let me down for 3500, 3 days before going on holiday to Cyprus. 14 teams for 1 pound.
