I'd happily sell Tav and Goldson this summer. 7.5m for Tav and 3.5m-4.5m for Goldson would be good business in my opinion. We need to bring in money selling players come the summer. 4.5m of our budget is already being spent on Diomande.
Fans also want Sima permanently. I'd let both them go along with all our out of contract players. Scott wright, Ben davies, Rabbi Matondo also need moved on. Matondo on far too high of a wage for an "impact player". Not consistent enough to start games. Can be excellent and hopeless but more the latter. Big rebuild needed this summer again!

Any of our players should be sold if a decent offer is made, we must always have recruits identified to replace those that move on . Selling Tav and Goldson this summer would probably be the last time we could.

It would be incredible business to get those sums for Tav and Goldson.
I agree, in that I wouldn't offer any of the OOC players a new deal.
In terms of the 4 loanees, I don't think we sign anyone other than Dio on a permanent deal and suspect we'll see Coartes in another loan.

if your wanting 7.5 for tav it will have to be from sandilands because nobody else will pay that, but I've said fir years this defence needs replacing, at least 2-3 years out of date imo.

Please stop quoting these type of figures. There's no way we're going to get anything like 10-15 million I've seen mentioned on here for the pair of them. Only going to lead to disappointment. Most people recently have said they want rid but then expect mega money? It's not going happen. More likely around 4-5m for both not each.

Our mistake was not upgrading several positions after winning 55. Then when Gio faltered, taking the easy route and giving funds to Beale to squander. Summer will be our most important window in years.

Monty - Agree re Matondo - just another flash in pan winger type who brings something to table one game in five if we are lucky - as I previously mentioned can't remember when he has started a game without being hooked and producing any great things when he has started - we need someone with more consistency and Cortez kinda looked that guy until injured- and spot on Pauly a good solid window in summer needs to set us up as we have had many false dawns with windows filled with over expensive under achievers with no resale value in recent past -our hopes and dreams are in your hands Phil!

Have to say if Goldson and Tav are worth a combined £12-15million. Why on earth are we selling them?
We wouldn't spend that amount on 2 players coming in.
Thinking some posters are over inflating here. Be lucky to get £5million for both if we are honest.

I can see the Saudi's paying a decent fee for Tav and although some might not see it, he will be a success out there if he can settle.
This is a country where money is no object and even a fee of £5m / £10m to secure the top scoring defender in the UK who has won The league and a Cup as well as captaining his side to a European Final, will be box office.
We need to stop down playing our own players just because they play in a rubbish league like the SPL.
With Goldson he doesn't have the track record of Tav., in terms of goals scored, deadball accuracy etc., and as such I would be surprised if we could secure even £2m for him even if the Gerrard press rumours were true.
The biggest benefit for us is getting him off our books and saving his wage so long as we don't then throw the money away on another poor signing.
