League is done! Dundee game killed it. They might drop 2 points at Killie but that’s it. I have been travelling around a few places looking at players for a certain reason. Some gems in Brazil. Can they cut in Europe we will see. Portugal first stop for most of them I would say. Even if money is better elsewhere. It’s family wishes. Next stop for me USA next week. Couple of U19 players to look at. Rangers are tracking a goalkeeper that will command a fee, also a striker from a market the coaches know well for a large fee. If they can spend more then a powerful midfielder is on the wanted list. Budget for new season will be 13,5m if second place. 20m if CL.

Genuinely can't ever seeing us being in a position that will allow us to win titles 2-3 seasons running. Weve allowed celtic too much access to the CL riches. While we are making a loss every year.
We are still suffering from the mismanagement from being down the leagues. We are close enough in points terms but celtic know they can keep us at arms length without spending huge amounts. If they need to they will.

The problem for us and them is we can't afford the wages you'd need to temp a player you'd pay big money for so they've not spent more than 6m on 1 player for years so we can overtake them if we can get recruitment right also BR signi. gs are poor there's not 1 he signed that celtic fans I know rate highly so our board need to back PC.

I doubt very much if anyone outside of Bennett and perhaps one or two others will know exactly how much we have available to spend on players and I would be surprised if we are not already looking at some quality Bosmans who won't demand a transfer fee with any signing on fee being paid as part of wages.
I also expect that once the EPL Premier League Squads are determined for next season that we will be targeting a couple of quality loans.
In terms of the positions mentioned I would be very surprised if we were not targeting at least one quality centre back if we are ambitious enough to believe that we can win the league.
Starting the season with the same back four as we have had for most of this season and we will struggle again.

Tjn, my understanding Bisgrove and Bennett intend to cut wage bill next two years by at least 20%. Given salary we pay definitely achievable imo.
