The sending off took any chance we had of taking anything, saying that we let them dictate play and only a matter of time for them to score the first, thought Silva played well and ran them ragged but we need to take chances to win these games, fair play too them keeping score down in second half and almost equalising although would not alter where title is going.

its quite a jump to believe he didn't know, mid tackle that as soon as he lifts his boot he's going off

I don't understand that lunge TT.
It looked to me like I'm out of here type of tackle. He is a professional footballer, launch yourself at that speed, looking for trouble. It didn't even look like he attempted to pull out which may have saved him, hmmm.

A horrendous tackle and probably out of the frustration of his own goal. He should never play another game for us, one player that I won't be unhappy to see go.

He has done lunges like that before anyone who thinks he meant to get sent off are of their heads.

i believe he knew he was going to be sent off before he lunged in, only a foll wouldn't know, he lifted his foot knowing that was what var would investigate and there would only be one outcome.
if your naive enough to believe footballers don't ever get themselves a red, for whatever reason, youyr the one whos off they're head
we have 2 things here then
we either have a guy wno knew he would go off
or an experienced player who ran a distance to make such a tackle that could only ever be a red card, and didn't think, given the distance he ran, the area, the lifting of his boot, i know what i think.

I think he’s meant to make a very aggressive challenge and stamp his authority on the game. I have no concerns with that and wish more people wearing our jersey would do the same.
That said, that tackle was awful and a red every day of the week and twice with Collum refereeing.
If he was 19 I could forgive him but he’s a senior professional who has had the utter p*** taken out of him old firm after old firm.
We will be a better team next season without him, Tav and BB.

he ran 10 yards to make that tackle . no spur of the moment stuff . he could have ended that boys career . and anyone who disagrees is also off their nut. knew what the outcome was going to be all day long.

Crazy challenge at a time when we had just got back in game and half time coming, even if the tackle was clean you are not retrieving possession at that speed so no point, if he wanted to leave something on someone he should have clattered O Reilly not the right back who was getting skinned by Silva constantly, schoolboy stuff.

We were 3 men down before we kicked off. Lundstrum letting men drift away from him, out of position and giving away the ball cheaply, Lawrence not picking men or runners up, Barasic he just doesn’t seem interested. Butland was outstanding, Sterling, Souttar Silva and Diomande were our best outfielders. Unless injured I didn’t understand him being replaced.

100% Lundstram knew the consequences of that challenge. It was a terrible challenge in an area of the park and with opponent having zero influence on the touch. An absolute disgraceful challenge and one he had plenty of opportunities to make earlier in game but chose not to. Should be his last appearance in our jersey.
