Most think that Lammers is being paid too much at 18k weekly, if that's too much wages for the Dutchs clubs tough titty eh, he'll go somewhere else, that ain't a big wage for a cf far from it, especially one who was the topscorer in Dutch football from January on, he also dropped in wages signing for Rangers, did some ever think about that.
someone said earlier for him to drop another 40% of his earnings so he earns £10,800 weekly lol that is never going to happen, if we don't get 3.5m for him we've been done again, but really can't see us not getting that fee, the tims sold an average cf at best if not poor for around that fee but Rangers fans would expect 2m for him ?, one other thing if Rangers never paid him the wage he'd never sign for us, dropped 4k.

Don't agree at all mystar, if he was worth those wages he would be gone, he's basically failed at every club he's been at apart from a few month in Holland we've yet again overpaid for a player more than likely be stuck with him. His wages in Italy are irrelevant as he was a failure there aswell mate. There not a chance we will get a club willing to pay fee and wages unless we go back in for him ourselves.

They sign an average cf for 2m, sell him for around 3.5m, Rangers sign a better cf in Lammers for 3.5m and some fans say sell for 2m, that only makes bad business sense to me.

It’s not lammers fault at all. However club sanctioned 3 central strikers all on relatively high wages for a formation that could only accommodate one of them, absolute madness.

Guys on earlier posts said he gets paid £1.5M per year. That’s £30k per week. Which is probably right for a player that was signed by Atalanta for over £10M.

He should have dropped his wage to come to us mystar as he failed at the team before us and he should drop his wage again as he failed at us also, is that not how these things work? You can't go around failing at your job and expect to stay on same wage. He's definitely on more than 18k that's for sure. What that mob sold oh for is irrelevant mate. Wouldn't say the boy is a dud but we overpaid simple as that, not for the fist time either. You can't say if we sell him for lss than 3.5 we're getting robbed because that was our valuation and he flopped here so why would we get our money back? Makes no sense mate.

Agree kaiser…. I think throwing him in the B team is quite insulting. Obviously he hasn’t set the heather alight here, but he was in cracking form during his loan spell. It doesn’t look like he will be leaving so why not give him some minutes in his natural position as striker during pre season for the first team? If he’s not moving on then we need to try and get the best out what we have got.

Insulting? It’s the bomb squad been happening forever in every team, he not wanted and has knocked back a transfer because of wages, up to him and club to come up with some kind of agreement to move on.

If the wage bill is the biggest concern right now then surely you go for the 2 biggest hitters in tav and goldson. 80k a week combined.
Sterling already at the club no need for a big wage replacement.
Replace goldson with someone half his wage.
60k a week saving and be no weaker. Easier said than done but that's probably what needs to happen to give us wiggle room to make things happen.

Boyblue, I don't see why he should need to lower his wage? He has a contract. If he can’t get the same salary or better elsewhere then why leave?
It’s up to the club to incentivise any move for him.

He is awful that’s why no other Tom hunt wants him. He was terrible in Serie A too and when we signed both him and Dessers it was a massive risk. One that did not pay off. Thanks Mick Beale ??????.

I think we are trying to Force Lammers hand by putting him in the B team. It’s a risk and can only result in 2 options. He either stays with us on his rather large wage or he accepts a pay cut to move on. It really all boils down to whether he wants to play football or pick up a wage ?.

That’s what I am saying Mystar he is 27 years old. Things haven’t worked for him in the SPL. He either takes a pay cut and gets a move to the Dutch League which obviously suits him or he remains in his wage at us and runs down his contact in the B team. It’s a terrible position we find ourselves in with a player who should never have been signed in the first instance ?.

I'm really struggling that his wage is the problem Carluke, many clubs wouldn't be having a paying his wage, clubs in Holland don't pay decent wages and that's there problem, championship clubs wouldn't have any problem paying his wage.
