Hi Bears, new to the page. Hope you are all well.
Does anyone know when Hagi returns to the club?
Moving players on seems to be a struggle!
The wages Dessers, Lammers, Matondo, Davies, Lawrence, Goldson, Hagi on are ridiculous for what they offer! All on over 20k a week!
I've never not looked forward to a season starting but I am dreading this one tbh!
Yesterday's performance was poor, I know it's pre season but how often we said that over the last few seasons!
Jefte does not look better than Ridvan, I really hope Ridvan is our starting lb. I feel he's not been given the game time he should be because the club can't afford to pay besiktas the fees when he makes a certain amount of league appearances. May be wrong but that's my opinion.
Like the look of Barron, looks a great replacement for Jack. Feel we are still short in the middle of the pitch though.
Wide areas need improved massively, as does centre half. A goal scorer is a must as well, Dessers drives me mad!

Barron and Dio the highlight of our team so far, would stand out more if moves didn’t break down every time it hits Dessers.

Welcome Watp, yes not inspiring watching yesterday though it is pre season and more evidence of where we need more quality.
So frustrating to watch that we have a striker that can’t do the basics, against the better teams we desperately need a striker whose touch is secure and can get us up the park.
Agree with what you say about other positions needed aswell.
Just need to hope that we can move some on to bring new players in.

i don't think you could be more wrong on ridwan but that's only my opinion, he's been unfit when he's not played, why would it only be him we can't pay the fee fir?
in fact, what your suggesting here is that rangers are seriously skint and can't pay their dues? why on earth would we not be able to pay? , and jefte who has been here 2 minutes, ,

TT just my opinion mate. He was fit plenty times and still playing second fiddle to a poor BB. Yes, I believe we are skint. I think that’s pretty obvious the last couple transfer windows. We have barely spent a penny so far and need to sell before we buy. We are doing loans with obligations to buy. We seem to be in a bit of a mess on and off the field.

Welcome. Hagi I believe gets an extra 2 weeks due to playing at euros but his agent said he may not be back if a club want his services.

Watp loan and buy agreement is used by the top clubs, we need to use this far more if we can instead of signing players who can't play in our league, of course we need to sell before buying it will be mostly wages we can't pay the squad of players when adding before selling, this is very easy to see.

We've had far too many average players on ridiculous contracts that are badly hampering our window. We're certainly not getting value for money. We need to get them out, so we can move forward.

My worry regarding Ridden is that we are looking to sell him this close season to provide additional funds for PC and there has been rumours of interest from Germany as well as Turkey.

Welcome watp, way ridvan he's been stop start fae he got here, honestly don't think there's been many, if any times that he's been match fit, match sharp, that he's been a sub mate.
