I am sitting here wondering if Sakala would have had a big contribution to our team this year. We run him out of town and then struggle for a healthy winger/ cf all season long. Seems a bit like karma to me…….

That’s why he was sold cause fans didn’t think he was good enough.

Sakala was better than the majority we have had playing in his position this season some fans are clueless w haven’t got loads of cash we can’t just get rid of every player that actually contributes.

Agree storm. He’s not the best player touch and control wise.
But he gave us good numbers in goals and assists from appearances
People need to remember it’s Scotland we play in and the quality we can attract won’t always be pleasing on the eye.
I’d rather sakala playing than mccausland tbh.
Maybe silva, although silva is clearly a far more talented player. He’s flattered to deceive at times for me.

How sad is it that we are talking about Sakala, he was awful in key moments ie the big chance being converted when it was needed. A nice guy with a big smile but not what we needed then or now, we will be perpetual runners up if that’s the sort of player we think we need to have. We are a support in crisis.

I loved Sakala, probably my favourite player last year. Was so underrated for us.
Sure he missed chances but always up for it, superb pace, always running at his man and also scored some cracking goals. Caused that lot loads of problems, much more than anyone has this season.
Many a game this year I wished we still had him.

Let's be honest here, if the Club took advice from our fans we would have no team at all, this season has seen the most bitter and non-sensical posts for years. To do what we did as a team this season is remarkable, Celtic will win the league yes, but what the heck have they done elsewhere for years now. Did I see for example, that UEFA may invite Rangers into the CL next season because of our very good co-efficient position. We all, including myself need to sit back and take stock of the need to watch our finances.

Dado. It was only a few months mate 9 10 weeks I think.
I’m sure we moved in from Davies but for me if we go for Barron and miller and already have raskin and diomande; someone like Davies could be a very shrewd signing. His experience and quality invaluable to these younger guys.
The problem for us is we tend to look at the best leagues and the best clubs and players we have seen.
The players we have signed for many a year now none of us really know them
My suggestions come from my knowledge and I don’t have much about South America or Eastern Europe and wherever we’re going to be shopping lol.

Most fans want a player out because the grass is always greener on the other side. Sakala was run out to so we could bring in guys like Lammers, Cifuentes and Sima. Colak was run out so we could bring in Dessers and Danilo. Of all the players mentioned in this post Dessers is the fittest and contributed the most this year. I feel Sakala would have been second on that list in contributions. Sima and Danilo may have ended up higher but neither has managed to stay healthy, which is a big concern to me. Do we pay both these guys to take over for Jack and Roofe in the medical wing next year. Anyoo, we had a bird in hand (Sakala) and traded for two in the bush (Lammers and Sima) Sakala's money saved was not well spent and Beale treated him like sh88e.
