3 points and 4th clean sheet will do for me, we're getting there, not happy with Cerny though, subs did well.

irvger, I didn't see the game, but believe it was a lacklustre performance on our behalf. As you've posted the 3 points are the main thing. I think Cerny will come good.

2.) 29 Sep 2024 16:24:28
Mark, I hope so mate, I'd like to see us go 3,4,3 at home also, the defense is looking okay though, we just need to be quicker playing out from the back, far to many sideways and backward passes, just my opinion on the latter statement there, I know possession is important too.

3.) 29 Sep 2024 17:53:26
It was a typical performance after a European game days before and we don't have enough quality in the squad when we make 2 or 3 changes so overall I'm happy with 3 points and another clean sheet.

4.) 29 Sep 2024 18:33:10
agree OWS. hard game and travel back from Sweden. also think Dessers is important to the way we play so take him out and we lose that chasing and harrying defenders. Igamane still young and new and didn't really do that.

5.) 29 Sep 2024 18:49:15
No sure about cerny at all Mark very 1 dimensional, refuses to go down the line, it's very frustrating at times. Had high hopes aswell.

6.) 29 Sep 2024 21:54:33
BB4, I think Cerny is mainly left footed which might be why he doesn't go outside. he tried to play 1 pass today with outside of left foot which went straight to their keeper. I think he can use his right but instinct is to use left.

He only played 12 games last year and perhaps 2 games in 4 days was too much. think he will stlll come good but not sure we will sign him at end of season.

7.) 30 Sep 2024 08:29:05
Boy blue, I'm hoping he's one of those players that just takes a while extra to settle.

15 Sep 2024 15:13:56
I actually thought we played much sharper today, and could and should've won by at least 3 goals. I know we aren't at our best yet, but more positives than negatives for at a difficult venue.

1.) 15 Sep 2024 15:44:24
Don’t let sunshine and Raygers hear you say that ??.

2.) 15 Sep 2024 16:00:07
We definitely played sharper for around 10 minutes before we defaulted back to slow and mundane football for the rest of the game.

The new boys looked good.

3.) 15 Sep 2024 16:02:13
Agree portger for me first real sign of a team coming together hopefully kick on next few weeks.

4.) 15 Sep 2024 16:39:55
We were sharper for 10 mins, then done our usual, and fell away. Until the new boy Igamane (who I thought looked different class), came on, we were poor, but he changed the whole dynamic upfront.

5.) 15 Sep 2024 16:54:21
We need to learn how to beat Celtic, that's where the league is won and lost.

6.) 15 Sep 2024 19:09:41
Hard fought game and D Utd will shock a few teams up there - but I cannot for the life of me see why Dowell is getting game time as he is a mile slow and is not the answer -? Hope to see Igmane get a good run in team asap.

7.) 16 Sep 2024 08:26:27
There's a young and positive dynamic about the team and that's what the supporters want. The team will not get worse, it will get better.

I mention the early days of Postecoglu at Celtic from time to time and I know it irritates folk, but that's what happened there. That team played fabulous football for the first ten minutes of games, then it was the first twenty minutes of games and so on.

8.) 16 Sep 2024 11:53:49
Correct Mark, he needs to find a way to beat them in the next game and get that monkey off his back. Hopefully with the new guys, we will be flying come OF at Ibrox.

9.) 16 Sep 2024 11:54:57
Hope you are right Colonel. I do believe we have the players and hope we also have the right man in charge.

13 Aug 2024 22:25:12
Well guys tonight showed what most of us knew, we just don't have the class for CL just now, EL is the level for both us and the other mob. The play acting by DK totally annoyed me tonight, they're a good side without all of that, the second yellow on Jefte was a disgrace in my opinion, and was a result of the petty fouls awarded to them. Diomonde, Lawrence, and Jefte contributed very little TBH again my opinion.

On to St Johnstone at Hampden on Saturday which is a must win, I just hope Yilmas isn't a torn calf muscle, when he hit that shot.

portger23

1.) 14 Aug 2024 04:59:09
With that squad EL is beyond us as well.

2.) 14 Aug 2024 05:29:28
Roofe and jacko got it big time on here with their constant injury issues and as much as i rate yilmaz he also constantly has injury issues as does sterling, who i also rate.

3.) 14 Aug 2024 06:06:52
Portger, I think it's a torn thigh muscle for yilmaz. If that's the case his season will be over.

4.) 14 Aug 2024 07:57:58
Aye Cmac he was holding top of the left thigh, he was in a lot of pain too.

Well, I'm getting more nervous every time I have to use the Text to follow the game. I thought when we scored first today, good, here we go, the an OG, unlucky I believe. Looking at the stats with 9 shots out of 19 on target, we need to be winning games more easily. Never mind, well done guys, 3 valuable points, and on to Tuesday night now. How was it to watch folks today, are we improving, good to see Cerny getting what sounds like a very good goal, how was Propper despite hid OG, is he an upgrade on Goldson guys.

portger23

1.) 10 Aug 2024 17:35:37
1st half was really good the new guys being picks but 2nd half we lost our way and having to rely on guys who are not of the standard. Signs of progress.

2.) 10 Aug 2024 17:37:19
Propper an upgrade on Goldson of last year, however to early to judge his long term success but some encouraging signs. I feel we need someone with pace to play alongside him. Best option at the minute is probably still Balogun might compliment each other well. Great goal from Cerny once he gets up to speed he will be great for us. If we can get Sima back on the left then have Cortes and Jefte as options along with McCausland I think our wings are covered. It’s just adding a number 6, 10 and striker that’s probably our biggest priorities. Matondo, Hagi, Cantwell and Davies have to be the biggest priorities to get off the wage bill. Don’t contribute enough for me. There are others but hard to shift so many in one window.

3.) 10 Aug 2024 17:38:25
Portger, first half was superb. Passing and movement just what we have been wanting. Second half was awful. Dessers isn't the problem. It's the balls out of midfield when Dio tired and Cerny went off.

4.) 10 Aug 2024 19:30:35
Og and one game can't judge if he's an upgrade yet stupid comments early on.

5.) 10 Aug 2024 19:56:46
Need another centre half gers and don’t think we sign another striker unless one leaves.

6.) 10 Aug 2024 21:12:51
Thank you guys, sounds positive, with higher fitness levels we'll be okay. Colin., I actually said the same thing on Facebook regarding the midfield not creating enough chances for Cyriel, we need to shift the surplus to requirement players to free up wages for fresh players. Onwards now to Tuesday, when we can hopefully get another win.

06 Aug 2024 21:26:02
I never saw the game, just the live text on BBC, and I am delighted with that result, that may be the one that kick starts our season. The pundits are all saying Dessers led the line very well tonight, and again he pops up with a goal. Now might be the time for all of us Fans to start supporting the guy. Well done Gers on to Saturday fist and I hope 3 points against Motherwell, then next Tuesday, hopefully we can gey a couple of players in this week too. Well done again Rangers.

Why do any of the Rangers Fans give an EX Rangers Failure like MB any credence, we have a Manager now who is obviously working hard to turn things around, let's just give him and the players we have at present our full support.

RTG, I saw that also on Facebook, if it happens it happens, we get some money in and move on, I'm sure PC will have his finger on the pulse, not much gets past him.

He's paid very well to show more than he has so far, so he can lose the attitude. I do however think there's a decent player there, time will tell. As regards the Celtic Fan with the encroachment theory, just mention Alistair Johnson to him.

Keep the defence the same, no one needs a rest this early in the season, we need consistency, so I reckon there will be minimal changes from PC.
