Welcome to Rangers Vaclav, this is the type of experience we're currently lacking, played in a tope league, and part of a very good International team, as someone has just posted, a good CH now and a proven striker and we'll be in far better shape, I won't mention the striker I want, or I'll get pelters.

Still need two midfielders other than a young Barron who should be a rotation player and diomande who's still to find real consistency we've very little from Lawrence dowell and raskin to convince me they are the answer. Maybe being biased as that was my role but middle of the park worries me. We need to sign a midfield general who can control the game.

If and if we could get him I’d go for Miovski, liked what I saw last season, has good mobility, holds it up and is a very good finisher.
Highly unlikely this would happen but if more players can be moved on why not try and get Miovski and Shankland, granted Shankland would have to be a more nominal fee.

Just back from Murrayfield, I enjoyed the match although we lost the game, the need for a striker was never more evident with the good chances to score at least 3 goals, Dessiers was in my opinion the main culprit, followed by Scott Wright.
I thought Conor Baron was excellent and after a shaky start, I felt Jefte will be okay, Matonda also culpable with his poor control when in a good position, first half we competed very well and were a tad unlucky to be down at half time. Finally, PC, please get your subs on earlier when a change was needed.

Agree with most of that. First half Jefte was poor. Better second. Barron looked good. Matando is awful and so is Dessers. Let’s not get away from it.
Pc has done this since he came to the club. Subs too late. 75 mins with one sub is a friendly is very very poor.

Regardless of his goals last season, Dessers is nowhere near good enough for what we need. His hold uo play is brutal, he gets caught offside all the time and his finishing is rubbish. Apart from that he's OK lol.
Wright I'm sure is in shop window too. Gaffer already said ever player for sale basically woth exception of a few.

Everyone sees a game differently i suppose, but i honestly thought sterling played well and was good defensively ? Imagine you could take the defensive side of sterling and the attacking ability of tav and have that in the one right back, what a right back you would have ???.

Actually thought dessers done OK and remember Danilo was the first choice before injury.
Cortes was poor but just back so gets a pass
Wright clearly not good enough but I will never be overly critical as he always gives his all.
Jefte hasn't looked great so far he had no cover at the goal though
Matondo was terrible and don't think he will ever be good enough he had a one on one took too long awaited ages until there was two defenders and tried to take them both on he just doesn't seem to have the smarts or the basic control to make a true impact.

It was a lre season training game to get minutes in the legs, Clement said in the preview video on RTV that he was going to play most of the 11 for 75 minutes which he did, slagging him off for not making subs is daft, last season he also changed several players at half time.

You do realise that the subs all being at 75mins was pre planned well before the match? The result wasn’t important, it was about building fitness up to a full 90mins. He stated in the pre match build up that most of the starting line up would play 75mins. Also that against Birmingham it’ll be the same but with those that were subs today getting 75mins. Too many folk concerned with ‘results’ pre season, where as the management team are more concerned with building up the full squad’s fitness.

I don’t know what a defender is meant to do in that situation, you automatically stick your leg out to block if the striker follows through and catches you is that a penalty, what a precedent to set.

If there is asbestos, it is removed safely by experienced removal teams with no danger to the public, removal and time scale for total clean-up dependant on the amount in situ. Shouldn't think it would be too long, again if its true.

Ladies football might not be the best but plenty folk like to watch it - that's why Sky are paying a lot of money to televise the games in English leagues. One of the posters referred to his daughter having dreams to one day pull on the blue jersey and good luck to her and any others who aspire to do the same.
It might not be played to the highest standard but that shouldn't mean that folk that don't watch should be knocking it just for the sake of it. Being a traditionalist doesn't mean you need to knock it just for sake of it (ps - I don't watch it but wouldn't knock those who do)

More people go to watch Women's football at Chelsea, Manchester City etc., than watch most Scottish Games outwith Rangers, Celtic, Hearts and possibly Hibs, but everyone has their own opinions I guess.
I would certainly be interested to see the outcome of Chelsea's woman's team against some of the also rans in the lower Scottish Leagues. Some folks might just be surprised!

How about us finalising a deal for a striker who is proven in this league, is top scorer in this league, and is a Scottish Internationalist, I've never heard of any of these names being branded about, foreign doesn't always mean they are great players, sadly, we've found this out more than once over many years.
