Sakala was treated like crap by beale before being stupidly sold off,
told he was part of the 1st team squad and plans, then banished from the squad and left out in the cold then sold, when he wanted to stay.
Fashion just had his best season yet, 31 games, 19 goals, 6 assists.
Would take Kent, Morelos, Sakala over any of the front 3 we have right now, at least those 3 in their current form would still win us some of the games we have lost over preseason and the 1st two games.
Our record over the last 10 games has been utter garbage.

Starting to have some doubts that PC is the right manager for our club, does he have any tactics that suit our style of play?
If things don't change by End of the year, he wonl;t be managing Rangers anymore, GIO and Gerrard were far better managers in my opinion, at least they had quality tactics and could switch up a game to exploit a teams weaknesses or tired players, GIO in particular was good at this, if he saw a tired RB in a team we were playing he either put a fresh winger on that player or one with devastating pace to exploit the glaring weakness.
Gerrard had us playing the best football since 2012 and still until now, no manger since has produced and built a better team than his squad which was rebuilt literally from scratch, except Morelos and Tavernier, and it was done for little money.
we are winning nothing this year unless something changes quick sharp.
Butland is worth 30 million, LMFAO, try 3 million, a blindfolded Mcgregor could out perform this guy, starting to see why he was a bench warmer for all those years.

A good manager for me mate is, one who can co wi to a club and take over a group of players who aren’t performing and turn things around. Stamp his own authority on the club and a style of play on the team, one who knows the best formation to suit the players he has been given to work with and gets the best out of them no matter their faults.
He should know tavs faults for example and make sure he covers that by playing the correct tactics and formation to suit these problems until he can get the correct players in to the club.
If u can’t get any better then u need to adjust and get the best out of what u have by using the squad more intelligently.
If he signs players because it’s an absolute must that we need them then he should have bravery to put them in the starting line up.
Probably one who doesn’t tell 50% of his playing squad they’re free to leave while we are chasing a title and a cup.
Doesn’t pine for a freed and let’s be honest not very good player in lunny after the first game of the season in which his replacement was motm.
Not good vibes.
Also one who doesn’t say the entire squad is uk for sale before the season has even started lol
Lastly one who can implement tactics to a squad after the time he’s now had, there’s no style no tactics no skill not much trust in each other (him and players both ways)
His team selections normally always wrong and his substitutes always questionable, other then jefte who most said play as a starting left winger anyway.

Hope at some point we try Danilo and Dessers in the side along with Cerny . The role Dessers has right now is incredibly difficult and to get something better for that role we could never afford .
Against the likes of Motherwell we must try to offer more support in the side for Dessers .

Last night you could easily see what PC is trying to do. I would agree it’s been missing and not clear in any way, but there is more hope after last night. Quicker passing much much more movement. Press was better and certainly more direct from deeper positions.

I was in the City a couple of times last week with folks that are involved with the Markets and they mentioned that there is a lot of noise that there is interest in Investment with names mentioned including wealthy Scottish, South African and US names mentioned.
I have also heard from a separate source of investment from an existing shareholder, (as has John).
I haven't heard Boehly's name mentioned specifically however he is part of a Consortium and is only one of a number of shareholders.
As I have mentioned before, it is quite likely that Bennett knows the Chelsea guys from his time with Hendersons and with him taking over as Fulltime Chairman with us this summer I would expect new money to be pretty high up his agenda.

it isn't so difficult to understand. noone can come in and spend 100M as example, we need to live within our means. someone coming in with cash is only transferring money for some existing shares. sure money can be spent on infrastructure etc but we can't overspend on players as EUFA don't allow it. OneWalter, a lot depends on the Investors other Businesses and it isn't just the share acquisition. A US Investor that has other Sports involvement Stateside can cross benefit from the Rangers Support in the States, Investors in the UK could also benefit from the PR, especially if the Stadium was to be Sponsored by their Company.
Of course a wealthy investor that is Rangers orientated could equally secure ownership, or be part of Group of likeminded people, in general they just need to be more willing to invest serious money than Parks was.
Companies will spend money to secure naming rights and with us in Europe on a recurring basis would give them good cover.
The problem that I see in the recent past is that Parks secured significantly more coverage than was merited for their sponsorship. Other Board Members appear to be more there for the Blazer and Club Tie than taking Rangers to the next level.
We need new Blood and new ideas.
I am hoping that Bennett will bring change and I suspect that a lot of the noise is because folks in the City are assuming the same.

FFP relates to ridiculous transfer fee spending, we don't need that we just need to compete with the vast majority of real clubs in Europe at the sensible level of spending.

There was a lot of talk about new investment at the back end of last year and as both John and others posted there has been interest from existing Shareholders and from a guy in the whisky trade.
Last comments that I had, which was in the City, (London), was that there was interest from the US, (possibly an existing shareholder or linked to an existing shareholder).
There was previously interest from the Far East but I'm not sure whether the current political situation, and the issues with Hong Kong have put paid to that.
Unfortunately I haven't been at any meetings with the guys that have previously commented as I have pretty much retired and tend only to be in London for Charity Meetings these days but rest assured if I hear any rumours from reliable sources I will post them.
What I would say that, with John Bennet becoming full time Chairman this summer it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if new investment was secured.

I've nothing against that, but surely some of the young talent must be good enough to at least be in the first team squad? Also, how about homegrown players currently with other Scottish clubs? It happens because you have a genuine belief that they are good enough when they are not, if it was up to me I'd just straight up close the academy its a waste of money, anyone whose good enough is going to get snipped before they sign a professional contract.
