Duncan Ferguson being brought in as assistant and a few others Ancelotti worked with at Madrid aswell.

Whether you are losing patience or not doesn't matter . The selection was never going to be ratified until the takeover was complete and the new Sporting Director in place.
It feels like its getting stupid because of the media, throwing up names and making up stories that when you read them have no facts in them at all . These transfer bloggers put all sorts of rumours up, very few of them come true but they only highlight the ones that do.
I would rather we did it right than do it fast. Nothing much will happen in this transfer window anyway and we should be ready for the main one opening later in the month.

Muscat, the actual transfer window hasn't even opened yet in regards to players so let's be calm, chances are lots more business has been done (especially pre-contracts) that we've not heard about as I suspect Cameron was only announced to placate fans in the January Window.
As for Manager, we've now got new owners, new Sporting director and a new model of operation. Of course the coach will take a while to find, especially as new options open up as time marches on. Patience is key, especially as there is still plenty of time between now and the Window opening and the players returning for training.

The takeover was announced Friday, thelwell was brought in early ie Monday and immediately commenced meeting the so called final list.

I'm not sure what other people think on this but I'd personally like to see Rice go on loan for a season and try and get 25+ 90mins under his belt.
Cracking player on the ball, very calm and composed.
What I think he's lacking tho is that bit of grit and determination off the ball and general work rate and lack of 90min fitness tbh.
I wouldn't necessarily send him to a team that has the same on field philosophy as what we're going to be playing because like I say I think he can already do the pretty side of the game, I'd be tempted to send him somewhere it's going to be bit of a fight every week.

Good morning all, hope everyone has settled a bit and can look at it from a more positive point of view today.
I didn't really have a favourite for the managers job because I didn't really know too much about any of them other than the odd stats posted or video clips of the managers talking etc.
I was getting behind the Davide Ancelotti hype as it seemed like an exciting name and like I said from the clips/ podcasts I could find on him came across really well and what people were saying about him was positive.
But all those same things applies to Russell Martin. minus the name obviously.
I'm not going to judge the guy on his time in the PL because it's a completely different world in terms of quality, Brendon Rodgers got Leicester relegated (sacked before they went down)
Big Ange struggling like f*ck in that league with a far better squad than Russell Martin had imo. and guess what, both managers have absolutely strolled it up here!
It's him, he's here, it's time to unite and get behind the manager and his team.
What I will say is recruitment is sooo important as he's already starting on the back foot with a lot of fans and needs to get off to a good start.
It's now over to the board to back their man.
I'm excited about the season ahead, hope by the first game everyone can start to feel the same.

I think you could be right but the boy will need time.
I watched him a lot this season and I think once he's settled he will have a huge role to play and be a big part of our attack.
It's not so easy to make it at our Club. But look, if he does what he's been doing all season for Dundee then this already could be one of the signings of the season.
A marquee, don't know who but somebody for the number 6 role that's a decent age and has played at the top. We will see the best of Raskin, Dio, Barron if we can put someone in there who can dictate a game and let the other boys flourish particularly Raskin.

I tend to agree on Cameron, I think if he can settle quickly he'll grow into his role with us, I've always been impressed with his choice of pass always seems to be positive and doesn't seem to panic in possession.
Marquee signings always getting the juices flowing but are never guaranteed I suppose.

Tav is a strange one imo, there's been rumours in here for years now from people in the know of senior leadership group of players who have been to the board on a number of occasions about different managers. You don't get more senior than your captain of 10 years.
Imo he's been a good player for us who should've moved on a couple of years ago now.

New backroom team
Time for a new captain
And before people jump down my throat I don't hate the guy or anything like that I just think it's time to move on that's all.

Dio has been good in the bigger games against Celtic/ Europe etc, but he goes missing or doesn't have a big impact in 90% of our other games against the smaller teams. Yes he has ability but he needs to show it in a more consistent basis imo.
He's improved in the 18months he's been here and I'm hoping that upward trend will continue.
Raskins last 6 month has been really good and I think he'll only improve.
I'm excited to see what Cameron can bring, I think he'll surprise a few people.
