Apparently McCausland signing a 3yr deal.

Scotty55!

1.) 20 Nov 2023 20:23:35
Fingers crossed or he be off in the summer for £300,000 development fee.

2.) 20 Nov 2023 21:11:12
Hope he does and then get, Lowry, Ishaka, Rice and King so that we start to build a much better route from academy to 1st team and then for sale in the mould of Ajax etc.

3.) 20 Nov 2023 21:14:02
Still an issue with first team appearances.

4.) 20 Nov 2023 21:17:30
Aye great. I see Brentford are sniffing about to get him on a deal.

5.) 20 Nov 2023 21:27:25
Did rice not sign a longer term deal over a month ago? I’m sure he did.
Think king also signed one last year.

Agree though get them all tied down and blood them in.

6.) 20 Nov 2023 22:04:58
I genuinely don’t see us bringing a winger in come Jan.

If we play 4241

The wide positions are going to be cantwell (Mcausland)
On right and sima (Matondo) on left.
Still have Scott wright as an option, Lawrence can play on left and Infact might even be ahead of Matondo, dowell can play on the right aswell.
Both them are more central minded players though.

So are we really going to bring in another winger for sake of 6 months?
Who do we move on?
We need to move on dowell and wright in summer.
Sign replacement for sima.
See how cantwell does on the right but that’s where clement wants him for now.

In terms of striker if we can’t move dessers on in January I don’t see us signing anyone either, Roofe won’t leave til summer so we don’t have a lot of space or free wages.

It’s difficult to see where new signings fit in without moving a good few out.

7.) 20 Nov 2023 23:09:01
If full teams fit then we have a decent side
Lawrence is brilliant when fully fit
Wright has looked a diff player under Clement albeit a few games
There's a player in matonda imo but again he needs to be fit and get a run of games
Rice wil b amazing
Mcausland if he keeps getting games will only get better
Lowry I think will turn out good
Lovelace will be a great player also
This is only my opinion but can definitely build the team around some good players.

8.) 20 Nov 2023 23:36:33
I’m really excited about rice, I think he could be a smashing player, maybe the best we’ve produced since Barry.

I hate to compare them because of his name but it’s not because of that, I think he could be really similar to Declan rice. The fact he’s left footed would bring great balance to mf.

I’d hope to see him break into the first team properly next season, he’ll be 18 this time next year and that’s when I think he will burst onto the scene properly.

Clement loves playing youth.
He brought through tchoumeni at Monaco at a similar age and look at him now.

The world is Bailey rice’ oyster if he applies himself under this manager.

He had.

9.) 21 Nov 2023 03:47:26
If Mcausland want guaranteed game time the it’s time to say by no player at rangers should get guaranteed game time I’m sure that’s why SG got rid of windass as he sayed all players need to fight for there position in the starting 11 each week the way it should be.

10.) 21 Nov 2023 06:33:13
A loan to buy might make sense for sima replacement would be good to get his position sorted before start of following season.

Very little chance sima staying.

11.) 21 Nov 2023 06:43:05
I'm sure his game time demands are pretty small he's not stupid there's something wrong if we can't give promising young players some promises regarding playing time.

It could be he can walk for a certaiñ fee if game time not met it's better to keep him and try play him than not

Gilmour?

Perfect example these players could save us a fortune and make us a fortune after a few years just by giving them a proper chance like we would anyone else.

12.) 21 Nov 2023 06:43:29
Our attitude to young players needs changed.

13.) 21 Nov 2023 08:55:26
Rice extended to May 26. Stevie.

14.) 21 Nov 2023 08:56:57
Gofor Gilmour left the second he could, on 16 birthday.
How could he get game time.

15.) 21 Nov 2023 10:07:14
Gilmour camera from a good solid family and I think he took their advice to go down south and secure his financial future rather than rot away in rangers youth teams and poss be released.

Was he not gave some crazy wage like 10k a week?

Fair play to the lad, not many could/ would knock that back.

16.) 21 Nov 2023 10:17:19
Stevie can u tell us how he was to rot in rangers youth teams. He consistently played for the academy.

17.) 21 Nov 2023 11:22:35
John, Rangers haven’t a great record with young players at the moment, Patterson, but who else has been given a chance really? Maybe what we have just aren’t good enough?

18.) 21 Nov 2023 11:29:52
Because every other player before or after him never got the chance, we’ve had plenty of players who have been highly thought of who just weren’t given the chance. with the exception of who? Barry and Alan Hutton?

Something we have all agreed is youth just isn’t given the chance at rangers, so does he go down south and mix it up with the very best youngsters around and collect a handsome wage for his troubles it does he take the chance of being left in the youths and fading into obscurity like so many more before him, and since.
Easy decision for the lad, as I said he’s from a good family and they advised him well imo, look at him now.

From someone who watches the youths John I’d think u would be one of the first to agree that our youth players aren’t given a chance in the first team.
Certainly not upto this stage.

Even Patterson was forced by tavs injury or he likely would be another Devine, someone u have personally said is more highly thought of than Patterson was.
Look at him.

19.) 21 Nov 2023 12:10:58
Really rate the lad Devine, but rarely gets a chance. Be great to see him, Rice, King and Mccausland break through into the first team soon. Hopefully Clement and team work really hard with the youngsters this year to get them fully ready to start next season.

20.) 21 Nov 2023 12:51:56
Apparently Devine was held in higher regard than Patterson but looks like his development has stalled.

21.) 21 Nov 2023 13:53:10
wait a minute so are we saying play the young lads even if they aren't better than who is playing. that's just nonsense. imagine losing the game because we had some young lad playing and it cost us, what noise do you think would come from the stands that day.
if they are good enough they will break their way into the team. no manager would not play a good young player just because he is young.

22.) 21 Nov 2023 15:16:56
John he left because there was no clear route in the rangers team.

It's so obvious

I know you always like to use the party line but come on.

What we do with mcausland and Lowry will dictate what happens with a lot of our other youth we need to send a message that there is a path to first team.

Look at devine come in played well out of his more natural position when covering for barasic and we didn't lose a game when he played and he was dropped as soon as barasic was fit.

And hasn't really had many chances since.

23.) 21 Nov 2023 15:21:06
Geesadodothat NO! Again another person who reads one thing and makes up stuff in head

We could be losing mcausland for development fee 300-350k

I'm saying even if we put in a release clause in his contract say 600k that if he doesn't get the amount of games or game time say 10-15 games then he's free to find a club for that fee

Better than losing him for 350k and never finding out if he's good enough.

24.) 21 Nov 2023 15:22:14
So managers don't refuse to play players because they won't sign a new deal ????

Now who's being silly

Sure that doesn't happen eh! ?.

25.) 21 Nov 2023 15:23:59
Just because we give him a contract that states game time doesn't mean he gets it.

Protecting the club a little and maximise potential fee if we are to lose a full international player after he's now played for Northern Ireland he will have no shortage of admirers.

26.) 21 Nov 2023 15:48:33
Stevie the discusses around Gilmour that was the question

He left the second he could he did not want to be at rangers

Could not play in lowland leaguee too young could not play I. League cup too young could not play in spfl too young

Re others obviously clement also does not think the r ready or he would play them

Gofor u r correct re players not being played, Wilson never got games for b team as he was not signing a new deal.

27.) 21 Nov 2023 16:31:13
John, I was thinking of Wilson yesterday. any idea how he's doing at Villa?

28.) 21 Nov 2023 16:37:38
Also think it's funny how we are not willing to give these guys a chance yet teams that play in premier league seria A and the like are even though they play at a higher level surely we are big enough within our own league to start with at least one youth player a game or every second game.

There is this thing that you can do to change it if not playing well

5 subs ?.

29.) 21 Nov 2023 16:45:26
Dunno if we can take the credit for rice's development, did we not get him from Motherwell.

30.) 21 Nov 2023 17:37:30
Felt I answered that question pretty well John.

Gave u examples as to why that was a strong possibility.

Youth didn’t and doesn’t get a chance at rangers.

Obviously Billy felt that could’ve happened to him, and going by past experience of most youth players that’s a good indicator.

What part of my answer doesn’t suit the question John?

31.) 21 Nov 2023 18:01:24
Mark, seems to be doing fantastic. More goals than games something like 14 in 11 games

Scored Scotland under 19 Saturday. At least one assist today. Not sure final score.
This lad has it all

Baz yes re rice, however as a 16 year old he will be further developed by rangers.

32.) 21 Nov 2023 19:35:18
As I recall, we tried to play Gilmour and were told that he had to be over 16 before he could play in the SPFL, he then left for Chelsea rather than sign a pro deal with us . Not slagging the boy but he was prepared to play a couple of years in Chelsea`s under age sides but not in ours, its obvious the main factor was money and that's fair enough, everyone wants to earn the best wages possible. After Lampard left he hardly featured for Chelsea and even at Brighton it took a good while before Di Zerbi picked him . If he had stayed with Rangers he could have been a first team regular during that time, we`ll never know . I have no problem with why he left but it certainly wasn`t because he didn`t get a chance, he didn`t wait long enough to find out.

33.) 21 Nov 2023 20:35:09
On the button Wsl, was not even allowed to play in lowland league as he was only 15.

34.) 21 Nov 2023 22:03:13
Had Gilmour stayed I honesty think his career would have been further advanced by now.

17 Jan 2023 17:44:26
Anyone else hearing rumours about Krystovic from Dunajska Streda (Slovakia club)?

Apparently top scorer in the league, 22 years old, 19 goals in 27 games.

Scotty55!

1.) 17 Jan 2023 17:49:07
Heard a rumour would be a great signing and get him for a million.

2.) 17 Jan 2023 17:58:40
Someone mentioned him last night. Looks a right handful. I really hope there is something to that one.

3.) 17 Jan 2023 18:10:27
Good record and looks a handful. 1m being rumoured.

4.) 17 Jan 2023 19:30:33
Hope that's who we are after the 1 player from abroad.

5.) 17 Jan 2023 19:36:53
Just watched some clips there some belters of goals
This lad can play.

6.) 17 Jan 2023 19:38:11
Could this be the player beale was talking about bringing in from Europe.

7.) 17 Jan 2023 22:55:44
You speak to their chairman Stephen?

8.) 18 Jan 2023 03:21:21
No left foot but looks good physically reminds me of mitrovic.

9.) 18 Jan 2023 14:05:34
His name is spelt Krstovic incase any of you want to you tube him.

Generally not one for bringing back previous players for 2nd stints but with it looking like lammers isn't going to cut it, would it be worth trying a 6 month loan for aribo?

Scotty55!

1.) 03 Jan 2024 18:41:16
Would like him back but no chance Southampton would loan him out considering he’s started 6 out their last 7 games.

2.) 03 Jan 2024 19:25:58
Scotty, no way he is allowed to leave on loan he's finally starting to find his feet there and is getting rave reviews atm.

3.) 03 Jan 2024 19:32:12
Ah I didn't realise he was starting for them. I thought he'd fallen out of favour - no chance then ?.

4.) 03 Jan 2024 20:04:43
He scored last week he’s finding his form now.

5.) 03 jan 2024 20:17:33
nope, a return to players who won very little is not a good idea,

6.) 03 Jan 2024 21:05:45
Would love Aribo back, I'd say absolutely no chance is that happening tho.

7.) 04 Jan 2024 06:16:13
I agree Tom need to move on and look for players that could be better people forget adobo was inconsistent.

13 Oct 2023 09:32:16
Having now thought about whether my preference is Clement or Muscat, i'm not swaying to the side of Muscat.

Clement is a higher pedigree manager, no doubt but I feel he's quite similar in personality and style of football to what we've had over the past few years. Not that it can't be successful but I just think it's become a bit stale and predictable.

Muscat on the other hand brings a personality we've not had in a manager for a while and has a different (hopefully more exciting) way of playing which I think for both fans and players would be refreshing.

Ultimately I won't be disappointed with either but just something telling me Muscat is the way to go.

Scotty55!

1.) 13 Oct 2023 10:52:17
Agree. muskats play is attacking off the ball movement that's key for me fed up with players standing around stealing a wage n great for young players.

2.) 13 Oct 2023 11:59:05
Couldn’t agree more Scotty. Muscat is my preferred choice.

3.) 13 Oct 2023 12:10:18
The biggest problem any manager is going have is the players are simply not good enough.

4.) 13 Oct 2023 12:25:00
Would prefer Muscat myself but be happy with Clement if they go that way, as long as the horseshoe is not in their playbook a think the vast majority will be happy ???.

5.) 13 Oct 2023 13:22:29
Sone of these players took us to a European final
That’s no mean feat.

6.) 13 Oct 2023 14:15:57
Both set up similar.
Clement 4-3-3
Muscat 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1
Clement obviously likes wingers as he had Noah Lang who was decent against us whilst playing for PSV.
It will be interesting if they can get a tune out of the current crop of tweak their system until the summer to get their own players on board?

7.) 13 oct 2023 16:53:24
absolutely spud, some of our team will respond better, some are not up to it, beale showed time and again he was way out of hisdepth, palma is akready showing i'm up.

8.) 13 Oct 2023 22:18:19
Super sorry but don't agree. We have very talented young players who just need the right system to get them playing. This squad is good enough to challenge Celtic and play high pressing football. Cantwell for example. Everyone including him could see his strength yet he was moved to allow duds that beale bought to fill in.

06 Oct 2023 19:22:14
Genuine question but what's the reason for the huge opposition to Lampard?

To my mind I don't consider Gerrard a failure, I actually think we've lost our way since he left.

When I think about the qualities Gerrard gave us that Gio and Beale didn't, the main one is leadership and building a sense of togetherness within the squad. This is something I believe Lampard would also provide.

I can see the fact that he didn't perform well in the Prem but neither did Gerrard, infact neither has a lot of high quality managers. After all its the most competitive league in the world.

I'm not saying I actively want Lampard as managers but I'm not going to spit the dummy out if he is.

Ps. I actually think it's our snobbery towards player recruitment that has got us in this position. We have missed out on many players because we wanted to recruit from different markets. I hope our snobbery when it comes to a manager doesn't work out the same way.

Scotty55!

1.) 06 Oct 2023 19:35:15
Cause he’s not a good enough manager.

2.) 06 oct 2023 19:37:31
someone said earlier " he couldn't even get a tune out of chelseas stars, neither can the manager they're paying millions and millions this season, nor tge previously 4 million pounds managers. all taking way more than kzmpard. who wasn't able to buy anyone, unlike the guys who have spent billions on, it's utterly bizarre the abuse lampard has taken. yet stevie was revered, fir no reason at all, lamps has far more experience and many contacts, seems to be a fantastic piece of business if he came to rangers, he could veru easily be a superb appt, but strangely sll the people who understand how difficult it must have been to manage a billion pound club like chelsea, twice, say he garbage, il guarantee you he isn't garbage at all. or cheksea, everton etc would never hsve touched him.

3.) 06 oct 2023 19:39:05
btw, he was good enough for 3 massive clubs in england, but not fir the 13 time runners up in scotland, bizarre innit.

4.) 06 oct 2023 19:40:22
it's utterly ridiculous mate, beyond comprehension really

who do they expect to get,

5.) 06 Oct 2023 19:44:53
Good Comment scotty--.

6.) 06 Oct 2023 19:59:36
A strong manager with a proven track record is what’s required ????????.

7.) 06 Oct 2023 20:01:36
Frank Lampard is a difficult one. In my opinion he did a good job with Derby getting them to the play off, and in his first season with Chelsea when they had their transfer ban. I agree it went wrong when they could sign players, but since then, Tuchel ultimately failed and Potter failed from the start to get a tune out of Chelsea and Poch isn't doing that well either so far. Nobody will succeed at Everton so that one takes care of itself. The concern is, is that if Lampard gets the job, there will be massive opposition to him before a ball is kicked, the same snobbery when some said Shankland, Lewis Ferguson, Aaron Hickey etc weren't good enough for us - I'd rather have those 3 players playing for us than the dross we have.

8.) 06 Oct 2023 20:02:35
Scottish, got to think here. He ain't exactly success, not anywhere, neither does he have extensive experience. Not enough to manage gers anyway. His playing career covering up any real managerial ability. I've said before he'll raise profile like SG but not what's needed at present.

9.) 06 Oct 2023 20:06:01
Been runner up more than 13 times TT?.

10.) 06 Oct 2023 21:49:29
Tt wants Frank … great post from struth … he did ok until he signed players ?
Tom you could get behind beal but you want to with Frank … that’s a bit odd for me .

01 Sep 2023 17:18:26
Honestly some fans needs to go for a lie down and stop panicking! This is the reason the CL derailed our season last year, we get beat by a team that should beat us on paper and some fans throw toys out the pram and go off on one.

We have improved week on week in the league so far this season, whilst that lot don't look great at all (hence the scrambling about on deadline day) . They are in worse form than us and after Sunday we can be 2 points clear, and they are out a cup already. Not sure what the panicking is all about?!

Try relax and bring some positivity and get behind the team.

P. s. I'm personally fine if we don't do any more business this window. Imo we have too big a squad as it is and with the players we have at our disposal we should have plenty to win the league.

Scotty55!

1.) 01 Sep 2023 17:30:36
Agree Scotty. Butland is an upgrade. Defence although maybe not improved now has more options, midfield definitely improved and much more options in attack. Each game the attackers seem to be improving to me. Got a strong chance of progressing in Europa league and if we win on Sunday will be top. I think Celtic have got weaker and the league is for the taking so no need for the pessimism.

2.) 01 Sep 2023 17:37:08
Think it’s incredibly naive to say we’ve been better than then when we’ve been as bad as each other. Once CCV comes back they’re a totally different team. We don’t have that.

3.) 01 Sep 2023 17:47:48
I’m not one who has been getting to ott so far Scotti but tend to disagree, I don’t think our performances so far have been great and whilst I probably wasn’t expecting us to hit the ground running straight away but I was hoping to see what looked like the managers take on his best 11 and not changing middle to front in most games that we have played, He is searching and that’s not a good sign for me. I would be concerned if we don’t bring another centre half in and basically go with the same defenders as last season that weren’t good enough over the piece.
I wasn’t.

4.) 01 Sep 2023 17:52:32
Well said Scotty couldn't have put it any better myself love the Rangers and love looking for the positive even though I admit it's hard sometimes but that's what supporting us brings joy and happiness most of time.

5.) 01 Sep 2023 18:10:26
Well said scotty, some of the comments are very negative. I’m glad we didn’t have these forums in Walter Smiths first spell because we would have been reading the same things after some of the euro results he had.
We have the best game we could get playing them on Sunday at home after a result like Wednesday night.
Like most I would have liked a cb and winger to come in but I would rather they were in weeks ago not the last minute so I’m happy our business was done early. We won’t come up against the quality that we did the other night there in our league so it’s time to move on and get behind the guys we have not add more pressure on them as a big part of the game is confidence.

6.) 01 Sep 2023 18:25:55
Just a quick question for you Scotty55. Did you mete out the same advice to fans when concerns were raised when Ally was the boss? Or Warburton? Or Pedro? Or Gio? Tell us, how did that turn out? Fans have got every right to be concerned, and all these fans who need to "lie down" have been right more times than they've been wrong.
Again, it would appear that some fans confidence is built on how poor celtic are and not how good we are.

7.) 01 Sep 2023 18:38:37
It's not just European results is it Flb? Walter got plenty of stick for some of our terrible results in Europe, but the man cleaned up every other competition we were part of, so using Walter to try and get your point across, just doesn't work mate, sorry.
You are absolutely correct that playing them next is the perfect game fir us so we can beat them. However, the game itself could make, or break Beale.

8.) 01 Sep 2023 18:44:55
Listen I'm not saying we're the finished article but there's improvement in there and I genuinely do think once players bed in we'll play to a high standard this season.

I get they are improved when CCV comes back but if we can keep roofe fit he's far more influential in deciding a league title. I also believe once they get skelped in CL and a couple of defeats from us they will turn on him ?

I'm just saying it's very early in the season and everything is there to play for, I'm personally optimistic about this season so just can't understand the doom and gloom.

9.) 01 Sep 2023 19:00:42
Old Blue Eyes, I think that's a bit if a silly argument in fairness, 9/ 10 managers ultimately leave because they overstay their welcome, that's just part and parcel of the games and so yes at somepoint with every manager there will be concerned fans.

But on the flip side how many time have we seen fans get in a tizzy and then things turn out well. Tell you now if some fans (me included) had their way Gerrard would have been out season before 55 and its very likely they would have won 10IAR.

I'm just saying I'm my opinion the concerns as you put it, at the moment are far too premature.

10.) 01 Sep 2023 19:26:50
Is that the same Gerrard that won one trophy Scotty55? Fair enough, it was the big one domestically, but he got nowhere near anything else. Also, right from the start you could see Gerrard had Celtic's number, but the defeats to lesser teams killed him. Apart from the final game against them last season, when the title was already lost, Beale hasn't shown anything against them that would instill confidence.
Fans concerns about Beale aren't just about this season, it's about last season too. He's been here 10 months now, he's not just through the door.

11.) 01 Sep 2023 20:43:34
David in fed up hearing about CCV. He's not superman, you say they're a totally different side with him in the team. They couldn't score against Kilmarnock or St Johnstone. Are you trying to say CCV would have changed that.

12.) 01 Sep 2023 20:55:44
Scotty it is early and like you i hope the players he signed can come good.
Maybe it’s just me though but I do think it’s strange that he dosent know his strongest 11, we paid a fair chunk of our budget on Danillo and Lammers and they haven’t started a lot of games two of which were a Champions league play off! Not unusual that new players might take a wee bit of time to gel but you would have thought that you play what you planned was your strongest 11 and give them a run of games to work on relationships on the park and get some form going.
Instead having 8 or 9 million sitting on the bench.

21 Jun 2023 15:39:11
Just for a bit of fun given I'm refreshing my news feeds 20 times a day.

if you had to create a starting 11 based on who we have already signed and those names we have been linked with, what would it be?

For me I'd have (352):

Butland
Souttar goldson trusty
Tav raskin cifuentes lammers cantwell
Haji-wright douvikas

Interested to see what others think?

Scotty55!

1.) 21 Jun 2023 15:56:23
Scotty given the number if players we've been linked with we could pick from 352 never mind play a
3-5-2.

2.) 21 Jun 2023 16:54:47
Can't see his happing in Europe yes, but not in our league we have about a dozen midfielders for playing 3 cb regular.

3.) 21 Jun 2023 17:17:16
Cantwell at lwb? Why would we even consider playing him there?

4.) 21 Jun 2023 17:22:33

7.) 21 Jun 2023 17:49:47

11.) 21 Jun 2023 19:31:12
Beale are we linked with Piroe again, he’s a smashing player, or is the line up based on players you would like signed.

12.) 21 Jun 2023 19:45:59
They’re all based on players each individual would like signed.

13.) 21 Jun 2023 19:47:32
Trueblue We have been interested in signing him since Beale arrived and we still are very interested.

14.) 21 Jun 2023 19:55:55
Ignore that Beale I saw earlier it’s based on who you would like.
Sorry I’m getting confused ?.

15.) 21 Jun 2023 19:58:19
Hope so, I said weeks ago that he would be a good signing.

16.) 21 Jun 2023 20:27:25
Butland

Tav goldson trusty borna/ yilmaz

Cifuentes raskin

Cantwell
Hagi lammers

Hadji wright.

17.) 21 Jun 2023 20:42:19
Beale you're allowed to put 2 million players on the bench by the way. He isn't better than cantwell, traore or douvikas.

18.) 21 Jun 2023 21:02:25
He didn't just cost 2m tho Tjrfc, he will be played with Cantwell behind our cf in my opinion, both of them behind our cf will both cover some amount of ground and i think that's what Beale is looking for from they positions.

19.) 21 Jun 2023 21:55:20
I agree with beale lammers will be playing in michael beale's rangers team, don't you worry about that or think otherwise!

20.) 21 Jun 2023 22:54:47
Something a bit different ?

Butland
Sterling Goldson Trusty
Raskin Souttar
Tav Cifuentes Lammers Cantwell
Piroe.

21.) 22 Jun 2023 07:55:27
Pauly would make a slight change for that formation mate. Butland Sterling Soutter Trusty Cifuentes Raskin Dowell Hagi Lammers Cantwell Piroe, but can't see us settling up that way but stranger things have happened.

22.) 22 Jun 2023 08:55:34
There is ZERO chance of us having a starting 11 without Goldson unless he’s injured. Souttar as No1 choice is ridiculous! Yes he’s been great, but with injury record it’s no chance!

As for Dykes! Honestly, he’s been great for Scotland but no no no! Did Beale not say he will not be coming in for any QPR players!? And where did Beale say he likes a target striker? Did I miss that? Serious question I’ve never heard him say this.

23.) 22 Jun 2023 09:17:32
Gdog yes he did he also a said no other forwards in Scotland outwith old firm are good enough but people still mention shankland etc….

24.) 22 Jun 2023 09:22:08
Soutter is a better cb than Goldson in my opinion gdog, he continues uninjured he'll be our best cb in years.

I'm not normally one to get impatient but this year I am slightly. Mb stated he wanted majority of signings in for start of preseason and I'd agree it's important.

This is a huge year not only for the league but in Europe if we want to be attending the club World Cup so no room for error.

As for the point about making the right signings, as far as I'm aware and according to MB the background work for this window was done months ago before wilson even left.

Hopefully a couple of top quality signings in the door in the next 2 weeks.

Unreal ?

Suppose the rest of us will sit and twiddle our thumbs while the top brass on the page enjoy their closed wee group.

Wonder how long you need to post on this site to be considered important enough that get to be part of the big boy table. Certainly wouldn't be everyone and anyone.

Ah I didn't realise he was starting for them. I thought he'd fallen out of favour - no chance then ?.

Last game before break, no real need to rest loads of players. Think he'll use strongest team which includes barasic and cantwell.

Wouldn't mind seeing mccausland and cifu more though during the game.

Yeah agree tom. We were not very poor. if you play very poor against that level of opposition you get smashed.

Considering the circumstances I think we'll look back on prague away and say a draw was fine.
