Seen a few news outlets saying rangers are going to go in for nisbet or shankland this window I don't know any truth there in these reports any one heard anything?

Mossendtrueblues

1.) 20 Jan 2023 09:17:53
I don’t see either of them happening tbh they’re both too important to their respective clubs for us to get them for a reasonable fee. Might be able to test hibs arm in the summer as he will be at the start of his last year and can’t imagine they would want to lose their 2 biggest sellable assets (him and Porteous) for nothing.

2.) 20 Jan 2023 09:36:00
Nisbet is out of contract in the summer and is showing no sign of extending his deal at Hibernian. They may want to get something for him now. I feel that we would be able to snap him up for approx £1.5m and we need to do this to stop Celtic from signing him up.

3.) 20 Jan 2023 09:36:01
Shankland v Nisbet:

Nisbet is the one we’d want. He’s a better overall player and is 2 years younger. In terms of the transfer fee, Hibs would want about £4m I’m guessing. He won't come cheap.

4.) 20 Jan 2023 09:42:20
It was Barry Ferguson I saw who had said we should try for them, both clubs would want millions and Nisbet is more than likely to head to the dark side.

5.) 20 Jan 2023 09:45:47
Nisbet would be more choice from the 2 boy would score for fun in a gers jersey.

6.) 20 Jan 2023 09:54:55
Nesbitt is not out of contract to 31st may 2024
So I don’t know where people are getting info that his deal is up in the summer.

7.) 20 Jan 2023 09:55:00
I'd want Nisbet all day long. I can't see it happening, but he'd be my choice.

8.) 20 Jan 2023 09:57:56
DoTheBouncy He isn’t out of contract until next summer. so they would want a decent fee for him
Just now….

9.) 20 Jan 2023 10:00:22
Do the bouncy Nisbet has another year left after this season Hibs are looking for 4 million according to reports.

10.) 20 Jan 2023 10:02:59
Nisbet out of contract in the summer. Hibs won't want to lose him for nothing. ?.

11.) 20 Jan 2023 10:15:38
Get nisbet in now before he is tearing up the goal charts in a hoopy top.

12.) 20 Jan 2023 11:11:40
He’s out of contact next season not end of this one.

13.) 20 Jan 2023 11:21:28
Domestically both would do the job but I think we need better if we want to make progress in Europe. I don't think either are better than a fit Morelos, Colak and Roofe. For me good back up/ domestic forwards but I would want better based on the players we are talking to just now.

14.) 20 Jan 2023 11:22:10
Definitely out of contract end of next season. Hibs would be looking for 4m plus for him. Would they sell to us? Can we afford him? Also, If we did bid, then I think the tims would bid just so we don't get him. It looks like they'll get the S Korean boy in, but I could see them bidding for Nisbet just so that he doesn't sign for us.
Am I being too paranoid here? ?.

15.) 20 Jan 2023 11:51:19
big ben look what that mob did with scott allen, say no more.

16.) 20 Jan 2023 12:10:19
That's who I was thinking about trueblue, and what they did with Allen. Granted, they'd need to spend a lot more on Nisbet than they did on Allen, but would that bother them?

17.) 20 Jan 2023 12:31:27
I’d offer Hibs £2-2.5m plus one of our young players on loan. Could even be Lowry if he’s not going to feature regularly for a while. I’ll take time to think about that though ?.

18.) 20 Jan 2023 12:33:59
Nisbet contract runs until end of next season not this season.

19.) 20 Jan 2023 14:11:50
Ibrox4Me - that would be a great shout imo. but less than 2 mill.
Lowry would come on leaps and bounds playing for Hibs, as long as he can steer clear of the delights of Leith, and would slide straight into our 1st team next year.

20.) 20 Jan 2023 14:50:55
I honestly think Nisbit will end up at them, n supposedly they have already asked as postacog-needsaloo
Is an admirer also heard he prefers a move too them as he's a supporter
N hibs never like doing buisness with us any roads.

30 Nov 2022 09:00:05
I heard they will be 2/ 3 more people added to the back room staff does anyone know anything about this and who it could be?

Mossendtrueblues

1.) 30 Nov 2022 09:32:47
Told mcann has said wishes to continue with tv career.

2.) 30 Nov 2022 09:44:17
I don’t blame him John27, he is in a more long term job. Although I wouldn’t mind if he came to us.

3.) 30 Nov 2022 10:07:19
Staunch he may ne persuaded, time will tell.

4.) 30 Nov 2022 13:23:16
Perhaps Thompson or Ferguson it culsaw but we will have to wait and see.

5.) 30 Nov 2022 19:04:11
I hear Thomson was sounded out as Beale was impressed by his methods.

6.) 30 Nov 2022 20:20:38
I thought defoe might be a name that pops up their seemed to be a plan in place for him in a coaching capacity before gerrard and co left also his being from Glasgow it might be something he’d be interested in if asked.

7.) 30 Nov 2022 23:10:15
I’ll be surprised if KT isn’t brought in.

8.) 01 Dec 2022 09:38:09
Beale is a proper coach. I think his backgroom staff will consist of other coaches. I don’t think former Rangers players will be high up on his priority list. We tried all that before with McCoist and David Weir and they were absolutely terrible. We don’t need Rangers men, or TV personalities, we need coaches.

How much do think in total MB will have to spend in the summer? With so many players out of contract. GVB got around £12 mil in the summer do think mb will get more than that as a kity?

Mossendtrueblues

1.) 10 Feb 2023 15:42:01
So many things to take into consideration there mate.

2.) 10 Feb 2023 15:44:09
Can't see him getting 12m could he wrong tho.

3.) 10 Feb 2023 15:52:07
Depends on Kent and Alfie I think, re sign Jack for 1 year extension possibly then your only looking at maybe 3 to 4 coming in.

4.) 10 Feb 2023 16:06:36
He'll prob have to generate funds by selling I think kamara and maybe hagi are 2 we may sell if so that should bring in over 10m but it's a guess from me looking at the squad also wouldn't surprise me if yilmaz left if an offer 4/ 5m came in.

5.) 10 Feb 2023 16:44:44
Agree way Whitehorse there's far to much going on for anyone to even guess that alf Kent tillman etc etc do believe we will have money to spend but how much? who knows will be clearer when all contract situations are sorted out.

6.) 10 Feb 2023 16:47:23
Will only get 10+ IF we sell well.

7.) 10 Feb 2023 16:53:40
12 million in transfer fees? Or 12 million and that’s including wages and signing on fee? If we buy a player for say 3 million it costs a lot more than 3 million.

8.) 10 Feb 2023 17:40:54
Whitehorse is spot on so many contracts to get sorted for to even have a guesstimate. The club will know a lot more than us obviously but I highly doubt they will even know. Good question moss really difficult to answer mate. Kent and alf must be in top 3 earners at our club so just those 2 alone will play a big part on our summer spending. If we take on tillman wich I hope we do there's another few million. There's just so much to be sorted before we will have an idea.

9.) 10 Feb 2023 18:44:50
We need to get it right this summer our rivals are ahead on the park and look to be doing well off it as well so we have to start the fight back now or before we know it we're too far back and all this should've been avoided by investing after 55 but we didn't and they'll prob be going for 3 iar.

10.) 10 Feb 2023 19:03:59
Lots of big calls.
Do pay Kent and Alfredo what they want or spend decent to replace with wages on top of that?
Personally I think Kent will stay and Alfie will go. so he will need replaced. Can we get a free so it’s just a wage differential?
Tillman surely stays so that’s a fee and wages bump up.
A no1 needs bought and should be our main outlay.
We def need to sell someone to top up our spend and I wouldn’t be disappointed if it was Hagi.

11.) 10 Feb 2023 19:25:40
Storm 12mill in fees. Just like gio spent.

12.) 10 Feb 2023 19:50:50
7/ 8 out of contract we will be making savings with their wages.

13.) 10 Feb 2023 21:38:41
Probably lucky he if has net 4 or 5 million. Have to balance the books at end of the day.

14.) 11 Feb 2023 07:56:28
I'm not so sure that Morelos will go. I think his cryptic social medianessage us a big clue.

15.) 11 Feb 2023 09:20:07
I think Alfy will stay, I really do. And I'll be happy to see a fit Alf banging in the goals once more.

06 Feb 2023 23:25:12
With the likes of Kent (if stays) Tillman (if stays) Hagi cantwell ana Lawrence all technical gifted players which is great to have at the club. but I still feel we lack pace someone with great quality. do you guys think we will go for a player in that sense in the summer?

Mossendtrueblues

1.) 07 Feb 2023 01:33:06
Totally agree moss and think we'll definitely go for someone with blistering pace unless mb still thinks there's a future for matondo.

2.) 07 Feb 2023 04:51:44
Truly guys i think both kent and sakala have blistering pace? Sakala under beale has been superb and beale seems to be polishing up the rough diamond that is fashion sakala jr ???.

3.) 07 Feb 2023 08:59:07
I agree coops.

Pace isn’t what’s always needed in our league as we play a lot of teams 10 men behind the ball.

4.) 07 Feb 2023 09:41:21
Agree Storm if you have a team sitting in which most do at Ibrox then there is no space to use that pace, it’s then down to having clever players who can find that pass and patience to open them up.

5.) 07 Feb 2023 09:44:26
Storm it’s speed off thought we require.

6.) 07 Feb 2023 10:38:11
Correct, sakala had no impact on the game whatsoever on saturday, feel a lowry or hagi once fit would be a lot better suited for home games.

7.) 07 Feb 2023 12:27:21
Swso Kent hasn't got blistering pace .

8.) 07 Feb 2023 12:34:17
We’re not really lacking in pace, we have players with decent speed in the attacking areas and we’ve utilised it well in Europe over the last few years (this year not including of course) . The problem is having speedy players isn’t that much use for us in the SPL when you have teams with 10 players camped in their box. All the speed in the world isn’t going to help you there. It’s technically gift and minded players you need to help break down teams like that (which hopefully now we seem to have a decent number of)

01 Feb 2023 00:48:06
Delighted with our 2 signing's. I would have liked more but we have done the right thing a not panic buy it's very important we try and get every signing right between January and the summer window. now let's support the team for the rest of the season and see where we are at come the end of season. Thanks to all the posters who's was keeping us updated and sharing info they received ??.

Mossendtrueblues

1.) 01 feb 2023 08:02:16
bringing in 2, in january is good

you can't change everything in mid season, its mismanagement, imo

we have olenty, pretty sure some will be packing shortly, and all bedded in to get new players.

2.) 01 Feb 2023 08:48:21
I'm happy with the signings, I'd rather have these two first team signings than 4/ 5 squad players signed.

3.) 01 feb 2023 09:09:15
absolutely mark, il be happy to wait til summer, i believe there will be at keast another 4 in and 6 out, imo, summers the time for that.

4.) 01 Feb 2023 09:49:15
We will need to be better than that Tom we are sitting with some amount of player now, Beale said he wants a tighter squad we have 34/ 35 first team players now hopefully he gets it down to 28 max 4 in 39 players we need double figures out mate.
