I never knew this:
The eight stars on the logo represent the eight top teams for the first-ever Champions League back in 1992. Rangers, Marseille, AC Milan, IFK Goteborg, Club Brugge, Porto, CSKA Moscow and PSV Eindhoven battled it out during the first-ever edition of the competition. Thought I'd share.
