Thoughts:
I believe Clement is a strong and capable manager. The board thinks so and good enough to placate him with an extended contract. Knowing fine well if he is poached it's big compensation. Win win.
2. I'm not young Kings biggest fan however I felt he played at RB very well. Worth a try to rest Tav. Dropping your captain is controversial but his defending is not up to the mark.
3 Clement is paid handsomely to man manage. Well, manage Cantwell back into the fold. If he performs it's a win win as he's in shop window too .
4. Hagi. What a waste of money. Get him in and play his preferred position. Pay him his due. It's cheaper than a new signing.
5. Controversial. Sell Butland for hopefully top money. Buy 3 outfield players. Butland is not devoid of mistakes.
6. Mix it up a bit. There must be more than a jefte/ cerny cross to Dessers.
7. All is not lost. We were 50/ 50 with Kieve until the ref made a dreadful decision. However Jefte was commitng fouls continually. He needs to look at that.
8. I believe we will weather this low period but it will take time. But our toxic fans can't wait. Being second best to the great Tims is hurting but we will prevail. Never surrender.

Been our issue for some time that storm, if our striker doesn't score we can't see where the goals are coming from. Sima at least offered goals from out wide and hopefully Cerny will too.

Thoughts:-
1/ agree
2/ not sure King is the answer
3/ shouldn't need to man manage anyone who doesn't want to play for the Famous.

6/ to be fair, Jefte and Cerny haven't played much with Dessers. But I believe they could both provide better service than the Nigerian Goalscoring Prince has been receiving.
7/ Always room for improvement. Never say never.

I`m pretty sure we would sell Butland for big money but as I`ve said before, I can`t see which EPL club needs a first choice keeper and would pay the money for him. I would love to see Cantwell back in the fold but he asked away, so its hard for the manager to start picking him . I disagree about King at right back he doesn`t have the pace or the attacking inclination to play there . I would ask why him and not Devine . I`m assuming your great Tims comment is tongue in cheek, as the annoying thing is, we lost last season not to a great team but a bang average one.

Cole79 that is nothing but nonsense, but made me smile, Rangers have to big a fan base for that, crowds income, plus the fact the money made by players in they days was nothing like it is now. Narey Bannon Milne Sturrock Malpas Miller McLeish and others would have moved on in this day for far bigger wages.

1. Honestly hope he is poached. I don't believe he will take us forward. Seen no evidence.
2. Tav will never be dropped.
3. We must get Canteell back asap. He was one of our best players last season.

Some points for discussion.
The excessive wages paid to players were an enticement to come to our very poor league. Consequently we can't move on players for a wage drop
2. Not Rangers class: I'm sick reading this. Really? A few on here have delusions about our great club. Be proud yes but be realistic. The players we dismiss as not being Rangers class is lamentable.
3. Crown jewel. Singular as we only have one. When Butland questioned the boards ambitions and was apparently appeased, youve got to wonder, why ask? Because he has serious doubts and is not 100% happy. He will move on. We need the money. We are unlikely to win very much while we rebuild and we have a good, not great, but a good reserve keeper to step up. Butland to finance new signings.
4. B team. Good young talent that needs a chance. However our toxic fans will destroy them. Destroy their confidence if they underperform. It's a quandary. If they don't get a chance they're off.
5. Knowing the league. Barron has demonstrated clearly that Scotland has some quality players we should utilise rather than the fancy foreign names. A mixture of both for sure
I expect to be shot down but it's only my thoughts. Onwards.

Ive never felt as low as a Rangers fan but its not what's going on within the club, its how toxic the fanbase are making the club.
The internal stuff will sort itself out. We'll be back in an improved ibrox soon. Players will get up to speed. We'll go on an unbeaten run and all will be ok again with the section of negative fickle fans until we lose a game, then.
1. PC doesn't know what he's doing
2. The Board are clueless and only after a tie and blazer
3. Referees are celtic fans
4. Fellow fans are happy clappers
Etc etc.
I'm not saying things will be or are perfect. Maybe long term PC won't be a success but he'll have helped move us in the right direction, i. e. lowering wages, bringing younger players into the club, making us more self-sustainable, moving on players on high wages and poor performers etc.
I note guys who's opinion i respect like John, who says things will get worse before they get better. If they do i will weigh that up when and if it happens. Level-headed and maturely.
These incessant overreactions to paper or MSM snippets that are nonsense is wearing and has created this toxic atmosphere.
Players talk. Agents talk. You WILL put players off from signing for our club.

Debatable John however I was mainly referring to our interest in new signings. Written off as not Rangers Class. What exactly is that. Some would say Barron when with Aberdeen. currently one of our best players by a mile. And there's more in the league who can play week in week out in the poor league. Rangers class? Probably!

O think we can all agree the squad is not where we want it to be. That for me also means the team is not able to execute PC football plan of an effective 4-2-3-1 or variations of.
Again I believe there are bargains to be had for EPL once their squads are set, good young players from all leagues (including our own), and I believe the club are working hard to try and move players on that we would rather weren’t here.
But until that happens we do need to rally round the team today. Dessers not your cup of tea (or in your eyes sub-standard), fair enough. But until such time as he’s replaced or sold give him and those like him your full backing! Toxicity helps no one at any level and often makes people dig in harder.

Macnaughton yes the players are not good enough to play the system but we need a system that we stick with and recruit players that can play the system.
We cannot keep shifting to different systems that’s how we find ourselves in this mess, wrong players on high wages difficult to get out the building .

Maybe John25 can advise as I've had no answer on finance page. Bought rangers shares at last offer. There was a scheme that permitted small investors to buy shares for below 500 which was deemed to be the minimum. I contributed 100 PNDS via follow follow and after some time and delays etc I got my share certificate. . for 400 PENCE! No response from follow follow as I'm wondering where my other 96 quid went.
Any other guys had a similar experience or any insight into why this is . I've heard of costs but 96 quid is a tad expensive.

It was Shankland now it's Tav till we play again. Ok. Tav was an absolute bargain and has been a great servant always fit. Apart from Maeda he's up to the job in this league. Get off his back and appreciate his service until he leaves. Hopefully head held high.

I'm not Divine's biggest fan but the boy did well when called upon. Didn't put a foot wrong. A good back up on low wages.
I also thought King was better in Tavs position. Did well I thought.

Tav has been an absolute bargain buy. No he can't match Maeda but is adequate for the majority of games. But I agree it's time to improve the position. Tav has been a wonderful servant, always fit. Let him go with his head held high. Thank you Tav.
