I think his time is up, PC appears to want to play a very ridged way with everybody known their role. Cantwell like to play freely and I just can’t see a future for him.

I agree MPH ? cantwell certainly has it within him as he's most definitely a talented footballer, who was superb for us when he first signed ? He's not got back to that level since and has had stop start issues through injuries ?I get the feeling cantwell really loves our club and our supporters but i honestly don't think he sees eye to eye with clement regarding mostly where he thinks he should be playing within our team etc ? Time will tell if he indeed does want to leave ?.

Could it be that both our attacking midfielders/ no.10's todd cantwell and tom lawrence will both be leaving rangers at the end of the season ?If so i wonder how much at the very most we'd get for cantwell and lawrence ? If you combine both these talented footballer's best attributes, you undoubtedly would have a superb attacking mid/ no.10 at your disposal ???.

a player who dances around, runs all day around and around, up and down and goes nowhere 95% of the time, we need game changers, goal creators and scorers, not sand dancers like Kent, Cantwell, he's served his purpose, and hasn't really got there, imo.

I’d like to see Cantwells yards per game against any other player. He’s always on his toes and chasing but I see the other side where he doesn’t show what he’s capable of. On his day I think Todd is an exceptional player but maybe league doesn’t suit. Just my thoughts tbf.

Norwich is my English team.
I said when we signed Cantwell it worried me. He's always been a talented footballer, but the reason he sat on a bench for half a season at the Canaries then was sold for peanuts is because he thinks it's all about him at all times.
Norwich fans loved him to start with, them realised he was lazy (just stopped working back the way, letting people run off him), indulgent (always wanted to try something fancy rather than just do the simple thing) carried himself like he was better than those around him.
In his first 6 months with us I was enthused, as I said at the time, that he seemed to have grown out of all of that and was trying to turn his career around.
An undoubted talent who could be a very good footballer at a higher level than Rangers if he would just get out of his own way.
Unfortunately, as is often the case with the human condition, he's snapped back to mean, displaying all of the same faults we eventually discarded him for at Norwich.
If someone is willing to give us a few quid for him in the summer, I'd happily move him on.
If you look at it rationally, we paid twice the price for less than half the player from the same league when compared to O'Reilly. So there are bargains, as well as much better players, out there.
For me, Cantwell hasn't done any more in a Ranger jersey than Hagi, but at least Hai is a likeable character who always came across as being in it for the team. I'm not advocating for Hagi, I like him but think we need better, just making the comparison.
Guys like Cantwell and Silva who clearly project their belief it's all about them would be nowhere near my dressing room if it were up to me. They could learn a bit from supposedly lesser players like Dessers and Sakala, neither of whom I'm advocating for technically but both of whom start from a position of team first in the way they carry themselves, talk and project on social media.
If you were to put their attitude and mentality into guys like Cantwell who have superior technical ability, then you'd have a much better player. Unfortunately, given this is the second time I've seen Todd go this way, I don't think he has it in him.
I'd not be fussed at all to see him moved on.
