Big Boydy was spot on today, 40 shots, 15 on target, we should have blown their Goal Difference right out of the water today. Happy to have won the game today, we must go to Celtic Park and show a real performance next Saturday, and who knows, if we win, and the get the goals on Tuesday against Dundee, it would put real pressure on them for their visit to Killie.

Port everyone at half time would have took 4-1 in a heartbeat.

06 May 2024 00:23:00
Of course we would blue, but surely you get what he's saying? Felt when we went to 3-1 we took out foot of the gas a bit when there was still so much to play for, not just dessers all of them need to be more clinical, lundstrum for example should have had at least 2.

Boyd is talking nonsense.
So before the game we were -9 in goal difference.
So can anyone tell me the last time we won a game in the league by 9 goals?

06 May 2024 08:07:16
Think it was 8 difference mph, but I see where you're coming from. I think boy blue has a point, mind you. We seemed to ease up last 10 mins or so when we could gave really pummelled a tiring side. Another goal or two was definitely possible imo.

Mph I think he meant it should have been reduced to manageable levels it currently isn’t.

Did feel a bit like an opportunity missed. Obviously would have been happy with 4-1 before the game but it's about reacting to chances when they present themselves. They were down to 10 and cramping up after 70 mins and we seemed to take our foot off the gas an were far too wasteful. Probably should have scored another couple to put more pressure on them. Every goal counts.

06 May 2024 10:14:49
Boyd isn't talking nonsense!
Just because something hasn't been done before, are you saying it never will? Behave!
The reason we never went for the kill is because we don't have it in us. It was evident that a number of players thought it was job done the way they were sauntering about when they should have been looking to add another couple of goals. There's a very obvious lack of winner mentality throughout the team, and unfortunately, this shower can't seem to grasp that.

06 May 2024 10:34:27
I get where you are coming from Sima.
But manageable levels would have been halving it meaning you are still looking for a 7-1 win.
I can’t remember us destroying many teams like that in recent years.

06 May 2024 10:35:15
What does it matter to you, RTR?
You don’t believe we can win the league so your opinion is irrelevant ?‍♂️.

06 May 2024 12:07:24
Mph, feel like your trying to create a false narrative that we had to score the 8 goals yesterday, when you know we didn't, we had to reduce the difference by as much as we could. anyone watching that yesterday could see we were just happy with the win, in the last 10 mins yesterday, its mind boggling at times with this bunch.

06 May 2024 12:53:56
That's some pretty desperate reckoning going on there, MPH! ??.

06 may 2024 13:32:28
reducing the difference don't mean score 9 goals, it means reducing the goal difference, and we had the perfect opportunity to do so

we didn't because we had dessers and the rest just saw the game out.

06 May 2024 14:17:22
Guys, what I was hinting at was the lack of urgency in the final 10-15 minutes when we had them on the ropes, this was a definite chance to have score at least 7 goals yesterday. I also believe a victory against them also will reduce the goal difference, and if we really go at Dundee and get quite a few goals, we could be top of the league when they take on Killie on that awful pitch on Wednesday, it is possible, it's all down as a few have said to our mentality, theirs will not change that's for sure.
