If it's any consolation, I don't think that PC was brought in to win the league. Rather, more to steady a sinking ship under MB. he has done that under the most difficult of situations as we are well aware of. winning the 2 cups will be the ship steadied and stopped from keeping the Titanic company.1 cup, being the worst cup out of 3 domestic trophies up for grabs will be a problem. not one that can't be fixed, but will just make things tougher to fix. next year the league is a must --I think Big Phil knows that and it will define his management career going forward.

No consolation to me celtic fans are celebrating this one heavily because they thought we had it in the bag 6 weeks ago. PC was part of the reason we ain't champions imo.

Yes Paul that’s called steadying the ship. Maintaining the same gap from what he took over. If he’d had lost a further 6 points in a short period that would have been the same as Beale, but he didn’t.

Folks, we have a very good chance of making the CL Group stages and could, probably will make more than Celtic, we will also be seeded based on our own performance in Europe in the past few seasons, unlike the joke team who never do anything in Europe.

Considering we were top of the league and had the title in our hands to go absolutely blow it. Steadying the ship don't really look all that great.

With Beale we could of been 3rd in the league, PC restored some sort of belief and from nothing ran them close. We have a foundation to build on and the board will have confidence to invest and back the manager, ship steadied.

The way I look at it is he's managed to get the best out of a pretty bad bunch of players. Beale would have killed Rangers. The type of player he wants isn't at Rangers in any numbers and so he'll have to recruit them in the summer.
