If indeed James Easdale is the rich West of Scotland individual businessman, currently purchasing significant rangers shares from fellow rangers shareholders, would we want him back involved with our club again? ?

We're hearing the very rich individual in question, wants to also purchase Dave King's shares and has the financial clout to do so. ?So please ED, could you run a poll on this mate, if you don't mind ?My poll being ie. 'if james easdale is the individual wanting to invest heavily into rangers, would we want him/ accept him '? Cheers ED and as usual very much appreciated pal ?.

How can anyone invest heavily in rangers with FFP these days? What is classed as heavy investment in money terms? Also buying other peoples shares no money is going to rangers.

Definitely np don't forget he was very much aligned with Ashley and when we were giving Ashley the rights to merchandise and other assets for very little what did easdales do also they resigned once king and his consortium ousted the previous regime sp for me no.

12 May 2024 14:39:22
Yeah he’ll only be interested in fronting for the fat man again, these guys need to be kicked to touch.

Nobody can moves theavily in any club as shown with Newcastle for example. It’s a long drawn out process involving sponsorships and going rates not being inflated etc…

Saudi Arabia could buy rangers and we’d still be stuck with the same budget we have the now.

as far as i'm aware, they did nothing wrong, didn't take a penny and got very bad press

would i want 2 scottish rangers guys worth hundreds of millions of pounds involved in rangers

let me think about that for a second.

its quite obvious buying shares doesn't go into rangers accounts, your not buying fron rangers, everyone should know that without being told

the benefits come in a different form, billionairres tend not to lose too much . now stop repeating other peoples words please.

@John 27

Have to ask do you believe this rumour to be true?
Easdales buying up the shares

I’ll be honest I certainly don’t think it’s them and I don’t think certain parties will sell to them
But I maybe wrong.

12 May 2024 15:31:20
From what I know/ heard they didn’t have bad intentions for the club and ended up with a bad rep because of the other people who were investors at the time.

While I do not believe that it is the Easdale's that are the current investors interested in Rangers I suspect that if they were acceptable to King and they had control then, if we had a winning team on the park that those saying no would soon have a different view.
Having a £billionaire at the helm would most certainly not be a bad idea, people don't get to that level of. wealth if they are idiots.
I would also suggest that there are most definitely ways for an owner with the money to invest in the Club, other than by simply taking control and for someone like the Easdale's, acquiring King's shareholding and Park's shareholding would certainly not reduce their ability to invest further.
I'm pretty sure that working with Bisgrove we could come up with some clever ways of increasing the commercial turnover, naming rights to the stadium being an obvious one.
One thing is for sure, our Board is stale, just like the Team is stale. If everything in the garden was rosy then I doubt that Bennett would be leaving his role in the City to come onboard full time.

12 May 2024 15:54:35
Correct, Storm.
But that seems to be lost on a few on here.

12 May 2024 16:58:08
Does any believe park is selling out have gifted his shares to his son I don’t. His son still a director and on the board

Stig all about opinions. I don’t think easdales attend regularly at games.
Others may no more about them. I’m not sure thought they went to Morton games now.

12 May 2024 17:16:28
I'd take money off a big issue vendor if it helps us win the league.

12 may 2024 17:46:57
far as i'm aware john they stopped attending ibrox because some fans believed the negative press around them

they never took a penny.

12 May 2024 18:14:59
Oh I know they took not a penny out of rangers. Can’t say that about many tt

Enjoy Croatia.

It would be a very interesting move in that rangers plc have for a few years blocked easedales voting rights

Why buy shares if u can’t vote.
